Typical Starbucks that does offer a drive through. I went inside and it's a decently sized location that might've been a fast food place in its previous life. Staff was friendly and my drink (tried a Gingerbread Oatmilk latte) was hot and fresh without a long wait. There's a decent amount of seating and a couch and chairs in the corner for a group to chill. It was clean inside which is always a plus. This is a chill place to work in the evening (between 7pm and 8pm) if you are in Vienna. Space is a bit limited so it may not be conducive to work during the day, Service was great for an iced tea. It has a drive-thru which is probably how most folks obtain coffee. But it's worth visiting the inside during the more quiet evening hours. They may want to consider closing the dining room, since they clearly only care about the drive thru. Ordered on the app to pick up inside and after waiting ten minutes past the estimated time, asked and found our drinks sitting on the back counter being ignored. The dining room itself is dirty and sticky and in desperate need of a deep cleaning. Drinks are your standard Starbucks, at least they didn't screw that up. read more

Visited at 4pm on a Thursday. Drive-thru line was pretty long. I had a pre-order via app, but couldn't go inside the store with two kids strapped into car seats, so I had to endure the line. 12 minutes later, I finally got to the window to pick up my order. After some initial confusion as to which car/order we were (we were asked for payment even though we ordered via app), we managed to get the correct order in the end. I got two venti Pumpkin Foam Cold Brews, and they weren't mixed very well. It was like black coffee on the bottom, topped with orange foam. It took some doing to stir it without spilling through the mouth hole on the plastic lid, but I managed. Kids got the correct flavor of cake pops, so they were good to go. Drive-thru is convenient, but this location is a little tricky if coming from northbound direction in traffic, which I can only imagine is compounded in rush hour AM or PM. It doesn't have its own traffic light, so you have to rely on kind drivers to allow you to pass through two lanes to make the left hand turn into the parking lot. I am not going to lie - I totally miss the Starbucks that was across the street and near the ice cream place. Not that I ever went for the ice cream, but it was an easier parking lot to get in and out of as well as closer to the places in Vienna I tend to frequent. However - beyond the fact that I'm totally spoiled - it is nice to have a spanking new Starbucks as an option. The drive through moved quickly the few times I've used it and the people are usually phenomenally friendly. Why the review today, being as I've been here more than a few times? This is the new location in the area. They closed down the other two locations and this new one has a drive thru as well. Location was really convenient . Service was pretty slow but the baristas were really friendly. On the go ordering isn't available just yet at this location but that is usually your best bet for a fast visit! read more

I came in here today because I was in the neighborhood after a quick trip to the bank. This is definitely one of the newer locations that I have seen in the area, and interestingly enough they have a drive thru. The location itself is rather small. However they do offer outdoor seating with umbrellas. There were roughly ive other customers inside, and I was helped right away. J ordered the Smores frapuccino and a banana to go. The drink was prepared in about 3 minutes and I was good to go. I'm not sure if I would feel very comfortable working there because the store is so small. I really dislike this Starbucks. Tiny tiny parking lot, constantly forgetting drinks, slow and rude service.

I like the place and location. The staff, unfortunately, is not startbucks level at all. Last week, went in, 3 of us got a coffee and food, sat down and the girls comes to our table and says "you know we are closed?". Well no, otherwise I would have not sat down like I had all night. Goes to the next table, says the same thing. None of us realized it was so close to closing time. It was her attitude about it. Either say something to us when we are ordering and we would have known or could have made the decision to leave. I love Starbucks but stuff like this pisses me off. I go to this store every day to pick up my coffee. The staff are normally extremely friendly, but when I asked for my drink to be slightly altered, I got an attitude back from the barista. I tried to remedy this by saying "Thank you so much" (multiple times) and I didn't even get a response..... It was just a strange experience from what I'm used to at Starbucks. Most of the time if you don't like a drink the barista will remake it right away with no extra charge. I just asked for a little more milk. I guess since I go there every day, spending well over $30 a week, I was hoping the barista would be more accommodating oh well.... A-OK little Starbucks location along Vienna's main drag. ---if you're using the app to order, do take heed of the address as there are two SB within a few blocks of each other. Perfectly adequate service with reasonably quick turn-around time and the fact I've never seen any long lines bring me here if I'm on this side of the street. Starbucks is a known quantity and this store has all the usual offerings; there's absolutely nothing I'd criticize per se. I would give it four stars but for the pervasive quiet, somber vibe it imbues in contrast with the noisier, bubbling eclectic personalities of other SB locales nearby. I usually go to the other Starbucks down 123 that's right next to Chipotle b/c it's right around the corner from my house. This morning the power was out on the whole block so my fiancé had to go to this one. I've been here a few times but usually get iced coffee, this morning I got my usual hot drink. Soy flat white. Nothing crazy the only change that's made is that it's soy milk (which is a must since I'm lactose intolerant). Anyway, I had surgery almost 2 weeks ago and this is the first Starbucks drink I've had since then so I was über excited. I was so bummed after the first sip. It tasted watered down and as though the beans had been burned. Such a disappointment. I usually avoid this location anyway because of the traffic on 123 and how difficult it is to get in and out. They make the drink, pour the extra in multiple cups, share the cups with one another, taste the drink and say they don't like it and pour the contents of their cup down the drain. I've been going here nearly every morning for the past 3 years on my way to work and the best thing to happen to this place is their employee Austin. He's always bubbly and cheerful in the mornings which makes me want to go to Starbucks even more to order MORE food/drinks. If I'm not ordering food AND drinks I feel guilty for not doing so because the staff is so nice. I'm not much of a morning person, but he makes the start of the day something to look forward to. My order is always right no matter how many times I switch it up and they're pretty speedy with their orders. Love these guys! I've been an almost daily regular and like it simple "Venti Iced Coffee - Black" and they almost always have it ready by the time I pay. The manager (I think her name is Karen) does a good job of keeping the cafe clean and everything stocked. All the employees seem pretty happy to be there and I have seen them deal with other customers special requests with a "no problem" attitude consistently. I miss the other Starbucks locations in vienna, but despite the less than satisfactory location, this Starbucks in particular has a lot of positives. I come here very regularly to get my coffee in the morning. Most of the staff are consistently friendly, kind, and extremely pleasant at 8 am, which I am sure is difficult when dealing with all the coffee-seeking customers! The drive thru can take awhile on occasion, but normally is fairly efficient. Nicholas and Jon are exceptional in always going above and beyond to ask you about your day and to make sure your order is just how you want it! I am more than happy using this location for my regular coffee runs! read more

I pick up my coffee this store every day. The staff are mostly wonderful and professional accept for one named Rashim. A couple times when I asked for my drink to be done correct, he quickly turned very rude and even refuse to remake my drink. Very bad customer service. I've been to this Starbucks several times since its opening and love the convenience of the drive-thru. Employees are friendly and service is prompt. My problem is with the quality of the drinks. I've ordered the Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Brew at least 8 times and only twice has it been prepared correctly. Most times there is nothing sweet about it and I'm guessing they are not using sweet cream. I no longer order that drink as it is hit or miss with it tasting good. Today we mobile ordered two refresher drinks with light ice and picked up from the drive-thru. Both drinks were so watered down that it seemed we were drinking water with a little flavor. At close to $5 a drink, this is not acceptable. Of course we had already left and did not have time to come back to correct the drink. I called to complain and the manager apologized, explained that the drink preparers probably added water in place of the ice without more flavoring!!! Why? He offered a refund which I appreciate. That is why I gave 3 stars rather than 2. Hopefully, the drink preparers will be re-trained and make drinks exactly how they are to be made and not serve watered-down drinks. It'll be awhile before I go back but I may give them another chance one day. I would recommend you sample your drink before leaving the drive-thru. read more
