Iced cold brew oat maple latte
Brenda S.

Had a great experience at Peet's! The barista was really helpful in navigating the fun items on the menu- I decided to try this maple iced latte that was not too sweet and not too bitter! The service was pretty quick and I loved the outdoor seating option as well.

This is an awesome location, nearish to the airport so it's a good place to hang if you arrive early, and goodness knows their coffee is 8xs better than Sbux. They have lots of outlets for working. My complaint is that my cup was literally leaking out the side and as it dribbled out the cup all the way back to the counter, the barista stuck the leaky cup into a second cup (seriously couldn't you have poured it into the second cup?) and went back to work without ever looking me in the eye or saying a word. The coffee shop was nearly empty at the time, or I would have just thought they were busy and stressed. But no, they were acting irritated because I wanted a cup that wasn't leaking. Dare to dream.

Black tie cold brew on the patio

This is a friendly little Peet's shop in a convenient location in Tysons. I enjoy using the app to order. Bonus: periodically, I earn free drinks! The patio is perfect for social distancing in nice weather. My only complaint is that I want more prices (or signs with prices) on coffee pods and other merchandise. Because I'm not rich, I always check the budgetary damage before buying. ;-)

Clean and welcoming interior of Peet's.

Still the best place for coffee in Tysons Corner! This Peet's location added more outdoor dining tables immediately in front of the entrance with bright red chairs and restored some indoor tables. As of August 2021, masks are still required when going indoors (for safety due to the delta variant). While vaccination rates are higher than 77% in Fairfax County, this area gets a lot of out of town visitors for vacation, business, reunions, etc. On the plus side, the service is friendly and prompt whether you're getting a dark-roast coffee, cappuccino, or breakfast chorizo sandwich. I like the interior space, which is kept clean and provides a welcoming atmosphere. On the minus side, parking can still be a challenge during rush hour. But additional spaces are available on the side lot next to the Silver Diner on International Drive, or you can drive into the parking garage (and walk a short distance to the Peet's entrance). With the Peet's Reward app, you can earn points and free drinks if you're a frequent visitor.

Horchata oat milk cold brew. YUM.
Sara L.

We stopped in for coffee while waiting for Tysons corner to open this morning (a Sunday). There was plenty of open seating and not much of a line. I got the horchata oat milk cold brew and my fiance went with a cappuccino. Both drinks were ready for pickup in no time. I love, love, loved my beverage. It had a bit of cinnamon and wasn't too sweet. I had a sip of the cappuccino which I was tempted to make claim to, too. This shop gets bonus points for being decked out in pride decorations!

After being lured into Tous Les Jours by Yelp (apparently the spot to check out), I decided to give…read moreit a try. There's some parking available right outside, and despite living in McLean for several years, I hadn't realized there's actually a food hall in the building. That alone makes it a decent option for teleworking or a casual stop. As for the food--it reminded me quite a bit of Paris Baguette. Cakes seemed slightly more expensive, while pastries were more in line price-wise. I tried a jalapeño cheese croissant, a garlic butter bun, spinach egg bites, and a tiramisu iced coffee. The croissant was just okay, but the garlic butter bun stood out--nicely balanced between salty and sweet, and definitely the highlight. The egg bites were comparable to Starbucks; honestly, it's hard to say which is better, but Starbucks might have the edge in both portion size and price. The tiramisu iced coffee leaned too sweet--my partner especially felt it was a bit overdone. Ambiance was pleasant, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Would I come back? Probably to try the cakes. Otherwise, it's not a place I'd rush back to--but still worth checking out once.

I am very pleased with this location's opening as the nearest one from McLean used to be Annandale…read more 1. Cake/bakery items are delicious. Prices range from $40-60. - cookies: not my favorite - tarts: just okay - everything Dubai is overpriced and overrated. Not good! - caramel chocolate cake is amazing! 2. Sandwich and other savory items are excellent. My favorite is the tuna sandwich. 3. Service: 3 stars at best. Told me that they'll bring my order to my table and never did. Waited so long and had to go inquire. Then says sorry we forgot. We were the only customers, how could they forget?? Best to grab and go but not stay.

As for the drinks, the Iced coffee was not good and the Korean Ice Milk Coffee was also not good. Both drinks were extremely watered down and didn't taste right like other locations. The breads were decent. Nothing much to say as this is standard. I ordered a slice of cake and it was beyond sweet and dry. I'm not sure if I received day old cake but it was a waste of money. Would not recommend coming here unless you really need a quick bite.

Cake prices went up by $10 per cake in the last 5 years, so smaller cake is minimum of $40-45 and medium to large cakes are $55+ with tax etc. 2. Sandwich: They have egg salad, tuna salad, chicken and korean beef salad. The key is consistency! Same taste and quality every time, that is what makes a business stay in the long run. 3. Service: not good anymore. This part went down quite a bit. Manager should note. They are rushing us and not courteous. This is how you LOSE customers. If there is no one behind the person and if their phone isn't pulling up your app fast enough, don't be mean! 4. Okay Tea's'n You, your vibe is very cute, very demure, very mindful, and very tasty!…read more I ended up visiting this location because literally every other matcha shop I wanted to try was closed and wasn't opening until 11:30 a.m. Since my usual spots failed me, I decided to give Tea's'n You a shot. I'm so glad I did. Their matcha is top tier. I ordered two regular matchas with regular sugar, one blueberry matcha with regular sugar, a regular iced coffee, four cupcakes (strawberry shortcake and mango), and a sesame egg tart. Now before y'all start judging me, these were not all for me . My back is getting big, I don't need all that to add to it lol. Everything was packaged securely and presented beautifully. What impressed me even more was the customer service. Orders are placed on a kiosk that sits a little away from the staff, so I honestly didn't think anyone was paying much attention to who ordered what. Imagine my surprise when one of the staff members walked my order directly to me with a kind and friendly smile instead of leaving it in the pickup area. That level of attention is impressive. Do you know how hard it is to make customers feel seen with minimal human interaction? Kudos to the team for pulling that off. Now, while I wanted to give five stars, there was one small miss. The cupcakes were a bit dry, and the mango filling wasn't quite my favorite. However, the sesame egg tart was hitting on every level. My only regret was not buying more of them and somehow convincing someone to hand over the recipe lol. Parking was easy and located right out front. I will definitely be back to try more items. My team loved everything I brought back, so I don't think they're going to let me get away with not bringing them more next time.

Well, you got my vote and my loyalty. Place itself is not impressive and service is nice, but not superb. So,I thought on 4 stars, but this food... Wasabi - made in the house, soy sauce- made in the house by chef recipes. Soy sauce is home made!!!! Thick ,complex, tangy and not salty, amazing!!! I ordered sashimi combo this time and it's served with not white lousy rice, but takikomi gohan( please try it). This is one of the most complex flavor combinations in rice I ever had. I felt dashi broth, mirin, tons of veggies and even beans. Sooo nicely served with fish cake flowers on top. Sashimi itself was outstanding, fish selection was excellent, with scallops, squid and freshest cuts of fishes. Previous times I tried rolls and it was amazing as well. Parking was easy they had some right in the front of the restaurant reserved for customers as well as a garage for more parking spaces if it got crowded.
