I used to go to this Starbucks alllll the time bc it's close to where I live. They used to make my coffees perfect. All of a sudden, the past 4 times they made my coffees terrible. No syrup in them, no sweet cream inside, they just messed up and yes I gave them 4 chances. If I go to another Starbucks they make my drinks PERFECT! Im pretty upset with this Starbucks. Long story short, I was up early in the morning (3:30am) due to an emergency and then had to be at the field by 7:30am. I went to this Starbucks to load my card with $20 cash and grab my much needed coffee. When i got to the park I checked my Starbucks app and saw that my $20 was added but my drink wasn't bought. So I called the Starbucks to tell them that I was going to return later to pay for my drink (This was at about 8am) . I dont want them thinking that I did that on purpose. The person I spoke to said I didn't have to come back to pay for it but I insisted. Right before I went to work (around 4:30pm) i went inside of Starbucks to pay for my drink BUT the $20 was now missing from my app. The Girl I spoke to said I had to call the number on the back of a gift card to get my $20 back. So I called the number. The guy I spoke to said that because I paid cash I had to go back to the store. So i called the store to tell the shift supervisor what happened and she said she was going to give my info to the manager that should be in the next day. Anyways...if their register balances that means someome STOLE my $20 and Im going to be very upset. I did go back to the store to pay for my drink when I realized it wasn't paid for and 2 different workers told me I didnt have to pay for it. Met my new intern here for a short meeting and not going to lie, I was terrified after I read the reviews. Would they yell at me? Would they throw poo at me? Or worse yet, would I have to wait in a ridiculous line to only find out they they've ruined my drink? Much like a blind date you've been set up on, you want to believe in true love but deep down inside you're just hoping they're not a charming serial killer or your cousin. Well I'm happy to report that the most horrifying thing that happened during my visit was that they didn't ask for my name to write on my cup (Starbucks sacrilege) and my Oprah chai tea latte was kind of weak sauce in the flavor department. Other than that, it's your standard Starbucks with crumbs on the tables and people pretending to write their groundbreaking novel while actually just wasting their lives away on social media. The best thing about this location for me is having a drive thru. When I'm getting ready for work especially when I got the night shift and have few minutes to grab a cup of Joe I come here. I visit this Starbucks when in Ewa... it's always packed the drive-thru is normally wrapped around the building and into the parking lot. PRO's: Even though they are busy they seem to keep the customers moving and drinks served. Haven't had a bad drink yet! I was really excited when this Starbucks opened up. Up until now, I was going to the one in the foodland shopping center up the street, but could never find parking and the lines were out the door. However, the staff was very friendly and had the true aloha spirit. The drivethru line is long. In the beginning, when they first opened, the line would go pretty quickly. The girls and guys were on it. In the past year, it has gone down hill since. The wait time can take 20 mins or more with just 5-6 cars in front of you. Some of the ladies that work the drive through are rude. I've gotten the wrong change back three times. Today, it happened again. Now I count my change before driving off. I told the younger brunette today she owed me money. She rolled her eyes and shut the window and I saw her chatting with the barista. Then she opens the window and tells me that she can't open the register again and I need to come inside. Excuse me? I need to be at work. Instead of being late to work, I didn't get the change she miscounted and drove off. I don't go there anymore. Instead, I go to the Starbucks inside Safeway across the way. The gal working there is friendly and professional. And never anyone in line! If you don't like customers, the morning rush, and act like you hate your job, then, choose something else. I've chosen another Starbucks. I don't recommend this one at all. If you want to contribute to gas guzzling only to get a half foamy latte and a girl with a 'tude, go for it! read more

The first thing I noticed when I entered was the staff working diligently on putting away a supply delivery. The next was the extent friendliness of this person and the man behind the counter. He was pleasant, friendly, and efficient. My visit was very pleasant. But the clincher was later that evening when I realized I did not have my wallet. That was the last place I used it but they were already closed when I realized it. Early the next morning, at 0615 I went back and asked the young man at the counter if they had found a wallet. I am writing due to a horrible experience last night. Went through the Starbucks drive thru at around 9:50 PM last night. My mom and I are sitting in the car and hear this girl laughing and giggling. Her laughs are echoing throughout the Laulani Village shopping center. No joke. We look out the window wondering where it's coming from. It's coming from the Starbucks speaker! The Barista was literally giggling so much and saying "oh my gosh. Why you asking so much questions?" In a flirty immature way to the customer in front of us. Her tone all flirty and preppy. When it becomes our turn, she gives us a monotone "ok $5.71". When we are approaching the window to take the order, the barista is leaning over the counter giggling. She's all "what are you guys doing tonight? I'll text you after" we don't know if she knew the customer or not, she was acting very unprofessional that my mom and I were literally so irritated. When we pull up to get our order all we get is "$5.71" no Thank you. No have a nice night. WOW. Way to go. Work and Personal life are kept separate no matter the situation. We did not get the preppy giggly barista that the last guy got. We got a monotone unenthusiastic barista. Congratulations, I have no idea how you got the job. So to please my wife and her cravings we stopped at this starbucks, being the lazy person I am, I decided to wait in the drive through line instead of going in the store. The line was crazy and we were there for quite some time, I understand considering it was superbowl sunday, but jeez. First experience we received was from the kid taking our order, andrew, now this kid sounded like he hated his job right off the bat, but whatever I get it some times works sucks. When it got back was when my wife is trying to order her drinks and he keeps on correcting her like if she doesn't know what she wants and making her feel dumb. There was no need for that, none but you know whatever, it is starbucks. Finally after an eternity of waiting we get up to the window and the guy gives me the drinks and I pay him, no words are exchanged. He walks away and I'm sitting there like did my card go through, am I good to go...finally i get his attention and I ask if I'm good and he waves me off saying yeah....cool nice freakin gesture kid... But wait it gets better, he F*^$ up our order, like really after all the times my wife corrected you and you still got it wrong!!! So at this point I'm pissed I just waited in line forever, heard this kid give my wife lip, then get waved off like nothing, and to top it off get the wrong drink??? This time I turn the truck around, I go find parking and I go inside to get the proper drink and off course to leave my complaint on the service I receive. Once inside I'm forced to wait in line to get serviced, then I informed the cashier of what happened and how the kid is being disrespectful, she blew it off and went and got me the drink. No sorry for the mess up, sorry you had to wait in line again, here have a free drink on us next time, nothing. Ive never had this type of service at starbucks ever. We wanted some coffee's after a meal out this past Saturday evening, Sept. 26th. Despite having posted hours stating they were open until 9:00 p.m., when we got there we found the doors closed and locked, and the drive-through blocked by a trash can. I could see people inside dancing and joking around as they cleaned up, I guess they just decided they didn't feel like working any more that day? This was at 8:35 p.m., so it's not like they just closed a mere 5 minutes early or anything, this was a full half-hour before they were supposed to close (maybe longer, who knows when they actually locked the doors). I'm shocked that such a well-run company like Starbucks allows this kind of thing to happen, but I guess if you want a company you can count on to at least be open during their published hours, you'll need to look elsewhere. We ended up shooting over to McDonald's for our coffee fix, and I'm happy to report they were open and serving as they were supposed to be. read more

Best Starbucks with great customer service! I go here almost every morning for my drink whether it's drive thru or going inside and it's always pleasantly warming with their 'Aloha greetings, smiles, to their small conversations to 'have a great day! To me attitude is key, and I've never experienced a bad attitude worker since they opened, whether it's busy or not. I'll admit it is a bit slow at the drive thru sometimes, but I'm okay with it, because what's accommodating is when they apologize for the wait and if you're stuck at the window waiting, they just talk to you til it's done, which I enjoy. Recently though, it has been top notch! I swear, just this morning there were about 6 cars in front and I was outta there in 5 minutes. Progress :) Keep up the good work! read more

The location of this branch is great considering the new housing developments in Ewa Beach. It's a new building which means clean and pristine-- the way it should be! This one also has a drive-thru, which is another plus. As far as service goes, I think the employees here are extremely friendly. I go to this SB frequently (and even more so during finals week when I would stay for 8-10 hours straight) and it has never been lacking in terms of customer service. My drinks are usually very simple-- a flavored iced tea or an iced coffee, so I never had a major problem with certain orders getting messed up. There are instances, however, that my drink just didn't taste good at all! Just some inconsistency issues. Waiting for my drink isn't too bad either-- t's the same wait as any other SB especially during the busy hours. When I got inside, I was the second person in line to order. The woman in front of me ordered 4 drinks total. I ordered a simple iced coffee with half and half. Lets just say, it took me 15 minutes that day to get my coffee. Why? Well, I understand the woman in front of me needs to get their drinks first. Simple. My sister and I ordered a drink on the drive thru earlier about 4pm. The lady on the window was really helpful since my sister is a newbie on getting points when you purchase a drink if you have the app. She explained to my sister how it works and now my sister wants to sign up for her own account. But since she still has to go through the whole process of creating an account, I voluntarily asked the lady if I could get the points even if we are going to use my sister's card to pay for the drinks. I have an account but it's just that I had to download the app again on my phone because I don't often use it. It was taking a while to download and we are holding the line on the drive-thru so we decided to go in. After 10mins my sister paid for the drink and got her own card but I didn't get the points that the lady promised on the drive thru. First stop to jump start my day...located in the Laulani Village in Ewa Beach. This Starbucks has a drive thru, although depending on time of day...sometimes just walking in is better. Drive thru normally gets the priority, although I've experienced sitting there for almost 15 minutes or so and seems so not worth it.
