The service started off okay, but I got the impression that the cashier was annoyed because I wasn't familiar with the menu and needed a moment to decide. She kept giving me odd looks. The prices were reasonable, and the employee who rang me up was polite, although she misspelled my name. What really ruined the experience was the other cashier. She kept staring at me the entire time, and it made me feel very uncomfortable. It honestly felt like seeing a father out alone with his young daughter was somehow unusual to her. To make matters worse, they handed me the drinks and the snack separately without even offering a bag. I was carrying my daughter in one arm, and it never occurred to anyone that a bag would make things much easier. The only reason I'm not giving this place 0 stars is because that's not an option. Unfortunately, this was both my first and my last visit.

Saw "new management, new menu" banner on the outside of store or something similar. Don't know what's on menu now. Lavazza coffee still featured. Some new Yemeni drinks featured along with new bakes. Another associate later showed me a pic of receipt and also texted it to me. Unknown why this space is so empty now. Previously it was packed, jumping. Maybe there was music playing. Wasn't paying attention. Adeni Chai was hot & hefty (20 ounce). Worthy of 7.40 paid. Was too hot to drink for 10ish minutes. Later tasted it. Pretty sweet. It was pretty light on pistachio flavor, so that could actually be improved. But it wasn't too sweet either, and that's more important for me given all the sugar bomb lattes you find at corporate cafes. At $7.39 + tax for a medium (16 oz.) it was not cheap. $8.15 total. When I went, they were offering special lattes galore. Everything from tiramisu to honey lavender, biscoff, and banana caramel. They had several cold foams available and a few flavors of açai. I will say the kiosk for ordering was easy to use. I still prefer talking to a cashier so I can ask questions or see if they have a suggestion. The drink came out quickly enough and they shouted out my drink when it was ready. I guess I'd rank the service as good enough/not bad. The decor is modern and somewhat artificial, not exactly a comfy cafe to my taste. But it's roomy and neutral enough for the many students here. The wifi didn't work right away on my phone.
