Baskin-Robbins is Baskin-Robbins. You already know before you walk in that there will be many flavors to choose from and they will all be delicious and they will all be bright, colorful and deciding the right one is half the fun of going there. I will say that we walked in there were three people behind the counter, and it took a while before anybody even recognized this and said hello. When they did help us, it was very quick fast and they moved on almost immediately. I am not sure how their day went, but I would as manager make sure that they greet everybody coming through the door and at the counter and offer samples and other things that I have at other Baskin-Robbins.

Delicious ice cream and great customer service. I can get everything in one stop a warm brownie sundae.

BR31! Who does not love ice cream?! My daughter and I venture here usually following a day at the park. The people are really patient and awesome, mostly young and full of energy. The cake decorator and staff does an amazing job taking cake orders as I have yet to be disappointed or receive something other than how I ordered it. The pricing is usual, standard for an ice cream shop. I usually order my daughter the regular scoop since the kid scoop is only a few cents cheaper. The serving portions are generous as well as their topping portions. The parking lot can get hectic and crowded especially in warmer months. Even when it's colder out, the parking lot can be packed due to the other shops that share the space and parking. It's near Del Norte Bart if you feel like a 15-20 minute walk, with a little person I wouldn't recommend. The ice cream is fresh, never frost bitten or tastes sour. There is no indoor seating since the pandemic. The indoor space is small and can get pretty crowded with a few people waiting in line. The noise level is average, not unbearable and definitely not quiet. There is not really any place to sit and enjoy your cone or cup other than your car or its hood. Don't forget to sign up for your birthday cone, it's a free kids size scoop within a week of your birthday. Enjoy!

We chose a cake and altered a few things. The baker did a great job and also we have had good experiences in the past with them understanding our ask and creating it (the word count is small for details). We wanted a white cake with some pink icing and sprinkles around the bottom creating a base for our 1960s plastic translucent animal figures that came on Farrell's Ice Cream Parlor zoos when we were children (sadly they're gone). They looked perfect all over the cake four grandchild's birthday and it was fun sharing something that was so magical with her. The cake tasted great too! (Oreo ice cream and white cake is a great combo and pleased everyone). The staff could have been better organized at pick up time because I called to be sure that it was ready and within 5 mins was in the store for pick up but still had to have two people check before it was brought out.

The service was fast. I ordered a 2 scoop rocky road sundae. I had to ask the lady for fresh ice cream because the old bin was almost empty and the ice cream looked dark and I didn't want that. She tried to scoop the old when I asked for fresh ice cream because it was hard. I insisted on fresh. She got help to scoop and I got what I wanted.

I didn't get his name but he was super attentive! I couldn't make up my mind. So I kept letting people go in front of me. He still. Asked me are you ready? In between the next customer so kind. I mean he made his way back I've to me. Wow! A1 service! I finally decided and I told him thank you so much for your patience. He said no problem. I got nutty coconut and pecan praline I believe that's the name. I said I'm going to treat myself to a fancy waffle cone chocolate and nuts. Only for chocolate loves real good chocolate. A bit to much for me! Love & learn. He gave me the total and it just seemed way to low! I asked umm are you sure. I didn't want his register to come up short. He was so sweet. He said yes it's 31%off today. I said nice. Right then flop! My double scoop ice cream fell! Embarrassing , he said it's ok give me your cone! While he went to get more scoops ! I cleaned up my ice cream with napkins! He was back in a second! Yes. Ice tip for you.! Well I enjoyed every bite!

So disappointed! Took a mile walk for ice cream and was wishing I had never left the house. It was nice to see other people had the same idea I had; going out for ice cream. I ordered Butter Pecan and got everything but the pecans. We had to ask the man serving us twice to put gloves on. Once he did that I asked to taste a certain flavor. He was going to use the spoon he had been twirling in his hands and touching the counter with. I asked for a different spoon. He didn't seem to mind. I ordered my ice cream. He served my ice cream from a new barrel he had just opened. The only thing is...there were NO pecans in the top of the barrel. I didn't notice until I walked out and ate two bites. I could of walked back and asked to have it changed. I didn't because I felt like I had already asked him twice to put gloves on and once for a new spoon. This was, unfortunately, an expensive learning lesson. Usually when I am not satisfied with a service I go back and give the establishment another try. I mean, we all have bad days. I won't be doing that this time. I'll find another place for ice cream!

Without sampling the Meyer Lemon bc the worker recommended this, I just chose it. The Meyer Lemon was refreshing & had a creamy texture. It was perfect with the fresh waffle cone. My good friend not only picked us up, but she and her husband got dinner too, so of course I had to get dessert! We were short on time, so I used DoorDash to place a pickup order and it was literally ready in like less than two minutes. I can't speak on the ambiance of the place as my partner was the one who ran out to go get our order. Mango Sorbet - one taste of this and I swear it was reminiscent of biting into an Alphonso mango (which I know is no longer in season). This is a total winner and for this flavor alone, I would absolutely come back. Pistachio Gelato - this was pretty creamy and the crushed pistachio pieces actually tasted like it had been fresh and roasted. I'm glad it retained it's flavor and texture despite being swirled into a gelato. My partner commented that it was good seeing a pistachio frozen dessert in its natural color and not with the artificial green food coloring. This turned out to be a perfect purchase because my friend who lives in Berkeley surprisingly had not tried this place yet! I knocked off a star because the pints did not have the flavors labeled which I thought was rather strange. We were all impressed by both gelato flavors, but the mango sorbet was very clearly the fan favorite. It's nice to know this shop is opened daily (Monday to Thursday from 11:00 AM - 10:00 PM and Friday to Sunday from 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM) especially with school back in session.

(The only available "bun" was pan dulce.) Since the store was manned by a single employee who took orders and served ice cream, the overall ordering process seemed highly inefficient. Honestly, the one bite of my friend's mango ice cream made my experience a lot better. I'd recommend to order the Mango over Ube and Thai. Overall, the ice cream tasted good but nothing outstanding. The sandwich was kinda mid. It was very dry. I noticed that a lot of people have marshmallow fluff on their ice cream. They ran out but I wonder if that would've made my experience better. Gadani was highly rated, nuff said. It's got a nice interior, but most shops these days do. First thoughts are they are running a Fanloli in there, lots of cutesy stuff for sale, not common for coffeeshops, but I was excited for a banana mocha latte or honestly whatever that has banana in it, I'm all for that but it was sold out, big bummer. Second thoughts are I hate the kiosk ordering, I had to dig around for that disappointing news, tbh I feel like this kiosk nonsense just means whoever is back there gets more time doom scrolling but call me out for not loving the end of human interactions. Third thought was this is taking awhile, took about 10 minutes to get a milk tea which is a little crazy when no one else is there. Case in point for second thought because anywhere else it would half the time, are they making bead necklaces into the back? Fourth thought was when my wife said her milk tea tasted like water, which I tried and said yep it does, then she asked me if mine was bad, because I had the same order only hot, which I said, "yes it does taste like water, how did you know," to which we both say collectively, "fucking Berkeley." Normally id leave it there, but then I realized that the cup was spilling on me constantly and it actually wasn't me, the top wouldnt close so I was spilling the milk tea flavored water all over my sweater because their cups don't close properly. Listen, it wasn't a nice sweater but comon, insult to injury in a time of failure, people come to places like this to get a night cap, especially in a world where nobody young drinks. How the hell is this top of the mark, is it the ice cream? If it's the ice cream, I'm glad, because otherwise I think y'all are crazy. All that and parking was $20 bucks.
