This was my first time visiting this place. I was out walking with my 3-year-old daughter, and she was really excited to come in after seeing the shop. The service started off okay, but I got the impression that the cashier was annoyed because I wasn't familiar with the menu and needed a moment to decide. She kept giving me odd looks. The prices were reasonable, and the employee who rang me up was polite, although she misspelled my name. What really ruined the experience was the other cashier. She kept staring at me the entire time, and it made me feel very uncomfortable. It honestly felt like seeing a father out alone with his young daughter was somehow unusual to her. To make matters worse, they handed me the drinks and the snack separately without even offering a bag. I was carrying my daughter in one arm, and it never occurred to anyone that a bag would make things much easier. The only reason I'm not giving this place 0 stars is because that's not an option. Unfortunately, this was both my first and my last visit. read more

There is only one thing I order here. It's no longer on the menu, but I appreciate it so much when they do get this right. The orange berry blitz - perfect amounts of orange juice and mixed berries make it all better. I order thing on the regular just whenever I want a juice. I only only go to this location and I live in Berkeley. the only downfall is they don't have this to order on the app for delivery. So, I must crave it bad before I make the drive. read more

I have been going to this Jamba since it's been at this location. The service has declined. The csr's can be loud & gossipy. One of the managers, Elizabeth, is rude & extremely aggressive for absolutely no reason. I'm not sure how a person of this character can be in a customer service position. If there was a way to actually contact Jamba Juice corporate, the call would've already been made. I no longer patronize this particular location. read more

I took a few years off coming here, but I've started going back now and they have seemed to gotten better. They're quite friendly here. The smoothies have gotten more expensive these days though. You're looking at like 9 or 10 bucks for a medium smoothie. read more

My favorite Jamba Juice location. It's always clean, the drinks are so good and I love adding little extras for protein and vitamins. Drink: This review is specifically for the merry orange cranberry drink. It tasted so good and by far one of the best smoothies that I have ever had. It had coco whip at the bottom of it, which I thought would throw off the flavor but it actually wasn't too bad. Atmosphere: Really like the clean feeling of this place. Service is always good. Parking: Plenty of parking in this large shopping center. read more

$8.90 for a small Jamba Juice drink. I think it's fair to say that we should get a large and split it in 2 cups to get more out of your money. Mango-a-go-go is my favorite drink, but this one has got to be the worst one made . It tastes nothing like it has more ice than flavor . Maybe next time I'll get someone who makes these drinks worth your money . read more

I went to Jamba juice at El Cerrito Plaza on Saturday 1/24 mid-day. The woman at the cash had to ask and correct my order multiple times. Worse she had her hands all over her face, hair, and nose throughout the process. She also handled food right afterward. read more

I ordered an Açaí primo bowl. I don't care for the premade freezer taste, I asked if they could make it fresh, Melanie S. Gave attitude about it, I insisted. My money my choice, then she went on to tell me that I have to wait and extra 10 minutes since it was fresh(Wow)! The line was very long and there was no acknowledgment to the customers that were waiting. They seemed as if, they really didn't want to be there. Sorry but this great location could use friendly service folks. read more

While the smoothie was perfectly fine the staff was not. Loudly gossiping about other workers and cussing loudly with customers in the store. While i'm standing with my asian boyfriend the female worker loudly says "her boyfriend is asian he's ugly as sh**" while even if she wasn't talking about me or my boyfriend it's extremely disrespectful that she said that out loud as i am standing there with my boyfriend. Love jamba and always crave it but won't be back to this location or jamba in general in awhile. read more

So, we had spent the morning exploring an estate sale followed by a hike through a cemetery (that's another story). We were in dire need of something cold and a touch sweet. I remembered there was a Jamba Juice at EC Plaza. We pulled into the car park and found a space right in front of the store, so obviously we were meant to stop in. I haven't been to a Jamba Juice in years so I was a bit overwhelmed with all the choices. I settled on a small greens 'n' ginger, hubby had his familiar standby, a medium orange dream machine. I really my drink. It was cool to the touch, just a bit tart and sweet, and the ginger added a nice kick. The more I drank, the warmer I got inside. I found it very tasty and satisfying. Hubby's orange dream machine reminded me of the old push up yogurt pops, or an Orange Julius. It was also really yummylicious. We do not drink these on a regular basis, maybe that is why they tasted soooo good. The sales gal who took our order and made our drinks was super friendly and professional. The store was clean, didn't smell super fruity sweet. The music was a bit loud, but hey. It was not busy at all, then again, school hadn't let out yet. The prices are pretty much double of what I remembered, shows that we haven't been there in years. Would definitely come back, just before the kids are out of school for the day. read more

Smoothie is good as always, but boba is not worth it. Boba is over cooked and not quality compared to regular boba shops. Also paid an extra $1 for boba. Commuting from Pinole to El Cerrito to get a Jamba Juice. This location was the first in the East Bay Area that I was familiar with. Before San Pablo and Pinole had a Jamba Juice this was the place I would go to get a drink. Smaller location compare to San Pablo and Pinole. It can be crowded inside and long wait for your order to be ready. Whomever created the Jamba Juice app thank you. Now with the app you can order drinks ahead and it will be ready when you arrive. It is not crowded as it use to be thanks to the Jamba Juice app. read more

What is the point of putting out a table for mobile orders if you're not going to put the mobile order there or call out names for the mobile order? I literally put the order in 1 minute before walking in and ended up waiting around for 20 minutes before I had to ask about my order, only to find out it was already done like 10 minutes earlier. And now the warmed up food is cold already. Great service. read more

I was dissapointed when i asked the gentleman behind the counter why my 50% coupon (which i received yesterday for signing up for rewards points) took 50% off the $3 dollar item and not the $10 item. He said my belgian waffle bowl wasnt a food item. I asked what would happen if i took off the cheddar twist (a food item). He said my coupon wouldnt work because my belgian waffle bowl was not one item, it had several things in one bowl. I said i didnt agree with the explanation and he said, i dont make the rules. Let me be clear, at no point was he ever rude with me but he gave me the most ridiculous response to my question which told me he had 0 training on the matter. I worked in sales for several years and know that the proper thing to do in that situation is not make up an answer but it's to find the answer. Im a pretty educated lady and I know when a 20 -something young man makes up a reason on the fly. Not good customer service. I asked him what coconut whip was because it was a selection on the menu for belgian waffle psrfait and his answer was, "coconut whip cream, uh i dont know". Place was clean and the food was good but this gentleman needs product training and customer service training. I wont be back until this is fixed. read more

Ok Jamba, this location I swear need to STOP listing fresh shots of Ginger for certain. This will be the third time 3rd time in leas than 2 weeks I have come to this particular location in desperate need of ginger. Alas, I'll be leaving empty handed again. I could care less that you have a selection of PRE made ginger juice shots, that are mostly citrus juice and other additives I'm not interested in. This is absolutely just Absurd that this is a continuous problem. I get it, these pre made shots help your employees become more and more lazy. But this isn't what I want out of a company juice who claims they serve fresh squeezed juices. Praying hard for the day ANYONE can open a juice company that offers actual clean, fresh juices and herbs squeezed as you order as they promise. Down with the jamba revo read more

Jamba Juice has definitely been stepping up their game, I guess with all these other fresh juiceries opening, they have had to expand their menu by quite a bit. I got a groupon so have been coming to Jamba Juice quite often, if not for the groupon then I feel like the drinks are a bit too pricey to come all the time. Some of the drinks are up to $7, even $8 with add ins. That's a far cry from my high school days when they had $3 small smoothies. This location only has two tables to sit on, and it is more of an order to go place. I had an acai berry smoothie, and it came out within 5 min. They only had 2 people working. My smoothie was delicious and filling. I love how they have so much fresh fruit options now. My friend had a ginger smoothie which she definitely enjoyed, but it was a bit tooo spicey for me. read more

A juice bar with no juicer! I guess the juicer was broken today, so no juice. Really Jamba?! The staff was slow and clearly inexperienced, the manager's behavior was odd and erratic. They forgot my order and then got it wrong. The place is also filthy with piles of dirty dishes in view of the customers, the floor needed to be swept, tables needed to be wiped, and trash hadn't been taken out. The woman who made my drink didn't wear gloves. Just gross. I ended up throwing my order away. I highly recommend corporate take a field trip to this location. It doesn't reflect well on the brand. read more

This was an amazing store. Had been spending $200-$300 every month here but that stops today. After calling to complain how little fruit was added to my Açaí Primo bowl that was almost $11, I spoke to the Store General Manager and she confirmed she made the bowls and added exactly the "required" 2 ozs of fruit. All I needed to know. At this store the customer is always wrong. Of all the bowls I've ever received at any Jamba Juice this order was the worst. read more

Came at 8:15... They are SUPPOSSED to be open until 9... The employees standing around inside ignored me, and then after a long time, finally looked at me and mouthed they were closed. Why? This is my most regular juice store. The staff is friendly, professional and very nice . My only issue is the machine they use to heat the breakfast sandwiches doesn't heat them through out. My sandwich was cold in the middle. I told them about this on my next visit and they knew they have this problem intermittently. They said I could have brought it back in but I was already gone. Perhaps, they should get the machine fixed before selling these sandwiches. read more

There is one younger staff member who seems diligent and sweet and serious about her job. She deserves to be a manager. The rest of the ignorant staff needs training. They loose orders, take forever to make the orders and they don't even have no customers. I have been getting Jamba juice over 10 years now and this location is by far the most ghetto and unprofessional. read more

I came to this location and honestly it wasn't the best. Based on the smoothie. Now look I've had the new golden thumeric spice drink at different locations such as Emeryville, now this time I ordered the turmeric drink in this is location and I was overpowered with black pepper. I couldn't even finish my drink I threw it out and didn't feel like getting it remade at this point. But that isn't the interesting part of my visit..... At the register the person took my order and tried charging me, but couldn't. He didn't ask me for a different card or anything just said that it was all good. I made sure and he responded with "it isn't my problem". Now look I felt bad Because I knew I wasn't charged but I asked if he was sure. Now am I wrong for not trying to make sure I i was charged for my drink. But low key was glad because it tasted horrible. Didn't even ask manager to help with transaction. Poorly trained people in this locations. Now is their blenders not work well or is just that putting fruit first and juice after messing them up. I even know from home that liquids need to go first before solids when blending something. Honestly would reconsider coming to this location. read more
