Camr here for a quick bite on my way from SF to Tahoe. Unfortunately it was not very quick, and I'm not really sure why our food took so long. I just got a bagel and cream cheese, which took about 15 min to prepare. It also wasn't anything amazing. I got the Asiago bagel and it didn't have much flavor. The restaurant is very cute and had lots of options, I would go back and try something else.

El Jardin offers a variety of menu items such as sandwiches, smoothies, desserts, and snacks! They have a big menu and there is something for everyone! I was curious of what they had to offer and decided to check them out one weekend. We ordered two sandwiches, Pesto Mayo (we subbed for chicken) and a Chipotle sandwich. We also ordered the pink punch smoothie. The sandwiches were pretty big and were filling. The Pink Punch smoothie was also very tasty! There is a lot of indoor and outdoor seating. They also offer an area for kids to play! This would be a cozy spot to come sit down and catch up on some work or even to meet friends! The woman in front , who took our order, was very friendly and she was the one who recommended the Pink Punch smoothie! I also heard that the owners of El Jardin also owns Tres Hermanas down the street! I'd love to come back again and try their other menu items!

Continuing on my Richmond morning coffee crawl, I've received so many notes about this new spot El Jardín De Los Suenos. After driving by it a few times, I knew I had to pull in and say hi! There is a cool outdoor space by the entrance and the side of the building is vibrantly decorated so it's def hard to miss! (See pics just in case) Upon walking in there was a line of what seemed to be regulars of this spot which is always very special to see. There also is a kiddo area which is extremely refreshing to take note of if and when I come back on a Saturday morning. The interior is warm and cozy, and somewhere I could also see myself bringing my laptop to get a few hours of uninterrupted work done in. The staff is extremely welcoming and kind, with a cool menu full of items including crepes, sandwiches, bagels, coffee, smoothies, juices, and more. I chose a Juice to Boost Energy (Apple, strawberry, beets, lime) juice and was given a pager for when it was ready. Timely, priced fair ($7.99, see size in pic), and delicious. Looking forward to going through the menu soon and supporting this new spot in the community.

So cute! Been here a few times now, it's just down the street from me and has some great breakfast/brunch options. The smoothies and crepes are so good, both the sweet and savory. This is not necessarily a bagel place, but they have bagels and I will say that the bagel to cream cheese ratio is perfect! Bagels have a great texture too!

We really love this place. Kid friendly with a separate kid area where they can play while you eat and drink your coffee. Food goes from breakfast sandwiches/bagels to lunch sandwiches to crepes, coffee, espresso, smoothies, and even snacks. Full of mexican snacks to get you nostalgic! Outdoor sitting area or indoor, a big space! They also have a photo booth, not for me but I see a lot of people excited about the area

Dessert, like a pudding with pieces of jello. Pudding flavors rompopo, strawberry... delicious

This cafe is a lovely addition to the great restaurants that are lining up on San Pablo Avenue in Richmond. We tried their bacon, egg and cheese bagel. Sooooo good. My husband tried their mocha coffee and said it was comparable to Starbucks. Very good. I had their chipotle sandwich, loved the flavors. They had some gelatin/pudding dessert that I tried. It was refreshing. We will definitely come back. The staff was very warm and helpful.

I have been coming to Richmond two times per month for the last year or so ...and I'm always looking for bakeries /cafes . This one felt a bit more special than the others I have visited . It's a cozy spot , with an area for kids inside and outside . A large menu , so there's something even for the littles here . The outdoor area has a perfect green area in shade to catch up with the girlfriends or watch the littles play. The employees were welcoming and talked to all the customers as if they knew each other / maybe they did. Maybe regulars . I had an almond croissant and a horchata latte . Both were delicious. I'll definitely be back !

Was too busy eating my food so forgot to take pics. But my strawberry banana Nutella crepe was sooo good! And the veggie omelette was great. The decor and the motivational words on the walls are cute. The staff were very wonderful and kind. We sat in the outside patio and it was a nice day out, so I'm glad we got to enjoy that. Overall, would love to come back to try their bagels and other coffee options.

I don't usually make yelp reviews but this place definitely deserves one! Amazing customer service, such polite, kind owners who are bilingual and speak spanish as well! I usually order their chocolate babka and it's AMAZING! outside is flaky inside is soft and moist, my family goes crazy for it whenever I get one. I recently tried their hot caramel latte and it tasted delicious as well! the inside is cozy and cute with even a little play area for kiddos! it's located right by the freeway making it such a quick and easy stop before i hitch the road for work/school.

SO GLAD this place is finally open! We need more sandwiches in this neighborhood. Customer service is friendly, nice, attentive, and answered all my questions. Pastry is super yummy. Wide selection of juices, smoothies, and bottled beverages. Free parking lot. Close to the freeway. Lots of services nearby like coffee shop, smog check, liquor store, gasoline, tattoo shop.... If you choose to give a thumbs-up or not, I hope you found my review helpful!

What impressed me about their dinner menu is the drinks, very strong and delicious. The food was okay... we ordered a burger with fries and wings. The meat was cooked medium rare, if you don't like it cooked that way make sure you let them know. I really enjoyed the wings, they were well seasoned and give a decent portion. They also charge for extra ketchup which I've never experienced, understandable if it was ranch or some other special sauce but it wasn't. All the servers were polite, attentive and the place was clean and felt welcoming. They have a bar that I'll probably go to next time just for the drinks. I recommend to order their hazelnut espresso martini and the madre mía both drinks were amazing!

Who knew you could have a tea flight? I didn't before visiting this spot…read more First of all, the ambiance speaks for itself, but the service is what set this experience over the top! I appreciate the detail Kebzie shared about each tea. I learned that certain teas can be steeped multiple times, changing the flavor profile. My favorite tea changed throughout the tasting experience due to this. I appreciate that each tea was labeled with the number of recommended steeps and the best temperature to pour the water. We were also given a tea pet which was perfect because my friend and I were discussing our intentions for the coming season. We were both very stressed from work and just life in general so this is just the type of experience we needed. We were able to slow down & enjoy each other's company all while learning more about tea (we're tea obsessed). Thank you so much to the Blue Willow team! My only complaint is that there are limited food options (the snickerdoodle cookie was excellent!). I say this as more of a warning so people don't come hungry, but it didn't take away from the experience. One final note: "If you get a few leaves in your sipping cup it's good luck" ~Kebzie

I'm new to the Bay and trying to actually explore, so I'm really glad I found this place…read more I came with a friend on a slow Sunday around 4pm. Parking was pretty easy, though there aren't a ton of spots. Since it wasn't busy, we got a lot of attention and guidance on the teas, how to steep them, and what to pay attention to while drinking. We did the 3-tea flight ($25 + $3 per extra cup) and both got a snickerdoodle cookie, which was really nice alongside the teas since they were served without added sugar. This was the first time I think I actually understood tea descriptions. Earthy? Apparently that means I might feel like a little glistening frog licking a water droplet off a leaf in a swamp during the fall . I learned earthy teas probably aren't for me. But then you'll be sipping something, slightly lost, and suddenly be like....wait, I taste the chocolate! The plum? Brown sugar?? You start connecting the descriptions to what you're tasting and learning your own preferences: hotter or cooler, longer or shorter steep, which flavors you keep going back to. The changes between steeps are subtle, which I think is important to know if you're new to tea. It's less about huge flavors hitting your taste buds and more about slowing down enough to notice. We also had a little owl tea pet that we poured water over while setting intentions for our goals. As our conversation moved through life, plans and where we both are right now, I started to understand how tea becomes a ritual. Water to leaf, leaf to tea, tea to you, then back to the leaf for another steep. Calmingly informational is probably the best way I can describe it. I learned about tea, learned a little about myself, had a great conversation with my friend, and left understanding why the whole process can feel so grounding. Sooo I'd definitely come back! I think it's especially nice for catching up with someone when you actually want to sit and talk, a quieter date, or even just trying something you haven't done before.
