I haven't stopped in here in a couple of years as there are many other Starbucks in the area that have parking. However, I always loved this one. It's one of the smallest in the country, but the prime Atlantic Ave location is fantastic for people watching, esp. if you're outside at one of the few tables. Staffing here has always been good, still is. I was impressed with the meticulously displayed pastry case, everything perfectly placed and it included some new things I've never seen before. This was stiking cause I've noticed that Starbucks stores I've visited recently have a very small display of items, and not a lot of attention to it. I spoke to the nice barista who worked on stocking the display and told him how impressed I was. I think his name was Eliot. Turns out they just released 6 new baked good items today, Cookie Croissant Swirl, Yuzu Citrus Blossom, Chocolate Pistachio Loaf, Strawberry Matcha Loaf, Berry Blondie, and Dubai Chocolate Bite. Fire the new guy. Just simply ridiculous. My stomach is bubbling now because my husband ordered a mobile order for me, a White Chocolate Macadamia Cold Brew to be exact, and I drank it without looking initially. An incompetent employee made god knows what with a heavy pour of syrup and dairy. I seriously cannot wait for the day technology takes over and for simple jobs to be taken over for this reason. I cannot stand paying for a service and for that service to not be done correctly. Is asking for a drink to be made (with no alterations) too much to ask for? This was a very nice experience, quick in and quick out. We got there just before big rush that came in. I had the chicken breakfast sandwich (new) which was satisfying as well as a cappuccino (VT) and my wife had the T1 cappuccino with almond milk and honey and it was tasty as well. I think they get quite busy with the walk-in business coupled with the mobile ordering. Although our experience was great, maybe consider the mobile ordering. read more

We went to take out coffee and iced passion tea. All good. We were able to do that. Facility is clean. You need a code to use the restroom. Of course there's an area for door dash etc. The times they are a changing. This Starbucks doesn't really lend itself to sitting (unless you are outside which is what too hot lately). Starbucks on E. Atlantic near Military Trail. Can you give less then a 1 star. Food order was for a hot grilled cheese sandwich and cold drink. If you see the attached pictures what the delivery driver said. The hot sandwich and cold drink sat for about 12 minutes before bagging as the driver noticed it sitting there with no one bagging it and he raised a ruckus. Driver later informed that he noticed the bag had the wrong name on it, meaning it was a used bag. So the hot food was cold, the cold drink was not cold. They used an old bag. Visited today and asked for a free ice water. I was told they can't give free water anymore without purchase. I said fine, I'd like to buy a bottled water. They said they were out of bottled water, but that they could sell me a cup of tap water for the price of bottle water. I don't blame the employee if she was just following what her boss told her to do, but I think it's awful policy to resell tap water at the price of bottled water. Just charge $1 for a cup. It's starting to get very hot outside in Delray, and Starbuck is one of the only grab and go businesses in the downtown area for beverages. Keep your for sale bottled water well stocked, and if it runs out then make an exception to your water policy, or charge a small fee for a cup of water. Paying $6 (or more) for a cup of tap seems unfair. I'm a local, buy coffee and other snacks from that Starbucks all the time, friendly with other employees there (at least in the past). Will probably never go there again. read more

The store was clean. The outdoor tables were clean. The bathroom was immaculate. They did not have an odor to them as many SBUX bathrooms do. So clean I posted a picture (credit to Glenn who advised me years ago I could post whatever pics I wanted to do) My double blonde espresso over ice with almond milk was prepared as requested, Splenda added and I was asked and shown how much almond milk was added. Note, the outdoor seating area used to attract a fair number of non patrons just hanging out and occupying seats and tables. On this day that wasn't the case. That was a nice change. I'd return if in the area. They could use Valet parking (only joking) but that wouldn't be a bad idea, would it? read more

Right on the strip. Small place, never enough seating. Feel really cramped at this location. We usually prefer the 5th Ave location with less foot traffic . However, they appear to be efficient. Condiment station was filled when I arrived; cream and sugar packets full. I have a pet, but never bring him into a place of food or drink consumption. I always see non service dogs inside. I disagree on that. There must be health dept rules on that. read more

Went here for the first time since COVID and everything was nicely organized. There is only space for one person to order and then there are markers outside indicating where to stand and menus are visible from outside too. The line to stand is where tables and chairs used to be. The place itself was nice and clean. The cashier was friendly and signaled when to come inside to get the drink. Even before COVID, I never had a negative experience and when there was a line it moved very fast. read more

They said it was a busy day but... The menu is the same as any other Starbusks but there were signs of the past customers. Our table needed to be wiped (by me) before I seated myself and the AC didn't feel like it was working properly... it was very warm. During our time there, a staff member did come out to sweep and was very friendly but in the end, the temperature did chase me outside where it was cooler. This location has one positive element: In the am, they knock out drinks relatively quickly and there is seldom a wait; due to lack of "going to work" customers stopping it. Negatives: - Parking is virtually non-existent. There are metered spots out front, but only 3 or so in front of the shop and almost always taken. So even if you use mobile ordering, there is nowhere to stop and run in to pick up your drink. I have only stopped by on the few occasions a single spot was available. - Carelessness: On my last visit the cup had some sticky syrup around the top, which was not part of my drink: so not sure how it got there? Dirty hands? I didn't realize until I was already out of the store and in my car. Wasn't worthwhile to circle back, park and go in. - Quality: For some reason there is no consistency to prep formula. I enjoy the Flat White, but after two tries stopped ordering it from this location, as they are not consistent with the prep at every single other location I have ordered from. Way too much foam! When I stay down the street for business, I have limited options, so probably will stop here if there is parking. read more

I'm not a huge fan of Starbucks but must admit they are usually very clean, way more so then Duncan Donuts. And I always like to grab a coffee and sip it, sometimes outside. It's very relaxing. I've tried the food at Starbucks. not this location specifically but others too and I have come to the conclusion they are good for coffee or to relax but probably not the best place to eat. I gave up on eating here ages ago but always enjoy a good Cafe Latte and some relaxation and they are good for that. This is my local Starbucks and also my favorite one. The people here are so friendly and helpful. As a regular they all know me by name and address me by my first name. It's more like a local hangout than a typical Starbucks. I order the same thing everyday and they start my order when I come in. I couldn't ask for a better Starbucks. Love this Starbucks!! The seasoned employees are really friendly and take time to get to know you. I get there early, before they get busy around 7-8am, and my drink is always perfect. LOVE that they open earlier at 5AM! Order online during the day to dodge the crowd, and it's always ready within 5-10 minutes. Absolute worst service. Went in around 845 am and the guy working the cash register asked what I wanted and then was looking at his phone and I had to repeat it. There was an older guy customer hanging around talking to the two girls working. The one who made my drink just put it down without calling it out and I had no idea it was done. OK so I frequent Starbucks on an infrequent basis (LOL) but the Delray location has something a lot of others don't... People watching. I got a great photo with two "turkey-trot" participants. Fun fun! I had the fat free turkey bacon - egg white - on an english muffin and downed it with a couple of lattes. Really hit the spot on an early thanksgiving day! always super friendly, however I pay over a dollar more for extra cold foam every day and they never give me extra they give me the normal amount or less and I even say at the window to please do a good amount of cold foam and they still don't. it's just a bummer because I've been paying extra for it every day. adds up read more

Why, oh, why on the day after Christmas would you only have one person working an entire Starbucks in the heart of Delray Beach?? Luckily when I got in there, there was only one man at the counter; but, still, it took over 5 minutes for him to be rung up and for his drinks to be made by the one barista there. This Starbucks is very close to my house, so it is a must have to go there at least once a week! The only bad experience that I had is they put my drink in the mobile order section, when I had ordered it inside the restaurant. My cousin and I waited for 20 minutes wondering where our drink was, but one of the workers put it in the wrong section . Love this place! read more

Starbucks is an alright drink when you are new to an area and don't know of other alternatives.... I went in to this one on Atlantic Ave and they ended up refusing my $50. Bill... I know, lots of counterfeit bills floating around in these beach towns. A few months ago i was waiting for my drink and I noticed that it wasn't operating the same way that other Starbuck's do. The baristas had all of the milk left out on the counter(they wouldn't put it away in the fridge), and after they made a refresher drink( such as a very berry hibiscus refresher) the barista wouldn't wash the tumbler and would reuse them without washing them. I wrote to Starbuck's about my experience just to let them know I was disappointed and yet 6-7 months later nothing has changed. My bad experience doesn't stop there. Today when I was waiting for my drink the barista put it on the counter and the manager quickly came over, took my drink, poured more of the refresher mix into it, and said "you were short." Then the barista began to make my sisters frap and the manager was standing over him and the trainee and the manager began to argue. The manager told the customers waiting in line to hold on and he apologized to everyone for the long wait. Then the manager took the blender from the trainee and the trainee was told to go into the back room. I appreciate that the manager filled my drink to the top, however the way he went about it was wrong. The manager began telling us he was a trainee and he wasn't doing things right. I am honestly not the type of person to write to a company and complain or even write reviews but I am so disgusted with this Starbucks. read more

I was at this Starbucks a couple of weeks ago. I went everyday for two weeks because I was staying at a hotel in Delray Beach. The service was horrible. The management was shocking to me. The manager, Netty, was always there, but would disappear between 9-10am and I would be sitting there listening, and it seemed as if the employees were wondering where she was going, and she would never come back. She would make rude comments to her employees saying "I don't have to clean, I'm a manager, that's why I have you guys" Now from Management experience, I would never have my employees do things I wouldn't do. The following week she was absent pretty much the entire week, and it just seems as if nobody is happy working there with her. I find it sad, because a couple of years ago this store had great management and great staff. When I say, THIS STORE IS GOING DOWNHILL, I'm sure most or all people would agree with me. My suggestion, to whomever is her boss, IF you want this store to stay up and running correctly, please look into changing Management. read more
