It must have weighed two pounds, and it was absolutely delicious--a feast in salad form :) My friend's fully dressed roast beef hoagie was equally impressive: gigantic and delicious. There are plenty of tables inside, as well as outdoor seating, which makes it a nice place to grab a sandwich and sit for a while. The food was good, and of course, Laspadas is known for their sandwiches. One thing I really love is how they tuck everything together when making the sandwich. It helps keep all the ingredients inside so nothing falls out when you're eating it. Honestly, I think that's such a great feature that you don't see at many other sub shops. Overall, it was nice to see the new location and enjoy one of their famous sandwiches.

Yeah, the line is usually crazy long, but it's 100% worth the wait. I went for the original cheesesteak and it blew past my expectations; juicy, cheesy, perfectly seasoned, the works. Despite the lack of a/c and rough conditions they were in, the staff were super friendly behind the counter. My husband and I orders some delicious subs on fresh sesame seed bread. They're super generous filling up their subs and the ingredients are fresh and top notch. As a pescatarian, my options are more limited, but my caprese sandwich was fabulous. We also ordered a cannoli which they hand fill. It was the best cannoli I have had in South Florida and tasted like the ones I used to enjoy from the North End in Boston. Finally a great cannoli! Due to the power issue, it was a little dark inside. However, this is a true, lived in authentic Italian deli. Again, if you're from up North, you will feel like you are at home here. V&S is the real deal, and very much worthy of all the rave reviews people have shared with me.

You'd think something of that size might sacrifice quality or flavor, but not this. It was super tasty from the first bite to the last. The chicken was tender and juicy, the crisp romaine lettuce and croutons added the perfect fresh crunch, and we can't forget the Caesar dressing that tied it all together! I will definitely be back and bringing friends to help me eat it next time haha

I tried this place a few years ago, and didn't have a great experience, as my wrap got soggy pretty quickly, which was disappointing. They chop everything really well, and mix in what I believe is a store-bought dressing, possibly Ken's. Even getting the dressing on the side doesn't seem to help much. Each wrap comes with a bag of Ruffles chips, which is a nice touch. My group loved their lunch, so we will order from them again. Not one of my favorite places, but it's okay once in a while.

We were seated immediately, and our server was as present and sweet as she always is! The wifey went with the pesto chicken pasta, which was a special for the day and it was delicious! I went with my standard meatball sub, and I can honestly say that this is one of the best meatball subs I have had in a long time! (I do order mine less baked because the bread is so fresh. I prefer it less toasted.) The entire staff is so warm and welcoming that makes this place even more enjoyable. FIVE STARS. GAS STATION? YES. GAS STATION? ALSO YES…read more Let's get something straight. Some of the best food on earth comes from places that look like you shouldn't trust them. Gas stations. Side streets. Tiny counters with three tables and a refrigerator humming in the corner. I saw WhatSub on Yelp and thought, "Alright. Let's see if the hype survives State Road 7." It didn't just survive. It flexed. I am fully on board with five-star gas station cuisine. In fact, I seek it out. And WhatSub doesn't just play the game -- it competes internationally. This place comes dangerously close to Sandwich Master in Turin, Italy. I'm not exaggerating. And it narrowly beats out Generoso's in Coral Springs, which is not an easy feat. The bread? Legit. The meats? Layered like someone actually respects the architecture of a sandwich. The balance? No soggy mess. No overkill. No amateur hour. And then the cannoli. Freshly piped. Not pre-filled. Not sitting there getting sad and humid. Fresh. Filled to order. Shell still crisp. Ricotta smooth and balanced -- not overly sweet, not grainy, not lazy. Best cannoli I've had in South Florida since Lorenzo's in North Miami Beach. That's not a casual comparison. That's a statement. Now let's talk atmosphere. It's technically in a gas station plaza -- and yet the owners and staff are actually speaking Italian behind the counter. Not performative. Not touristy. Just normal conversation like you accidentally stepped into a deli in Torino. It feels real. So real that I went back the next day. And then again. I am not joking. When I ask myself, "What was my favorite thing?" the answer is dangerous: Everything I ordered. Cold subs. Hot subs. Cannoli. Repeat. This is the kind of place you almost don't want to write about because once the word spreads, lines get longer and secrets disappear. But credit where credit is due. WhatSub is proof that greatness doesn't need chandeliers. Sometimes it just needs good bread, proper technique, and someone who actually cares.

Came here because I saw it was a new Italian sub shop near my area. Saw good reviews and wanted to…read moretry it myself. Behind the counter was a husband/wife duo who were the business owners (didn't get their names) who stated they were from Sicily. After much deliberation, I decided to order the Arthur Ave and the Milano. The Arthur Ave is a cold sandwich that had prosciutto, arugula, stracciatella, sun dried tomato. You have a choice of bread from white, wheat rolls, and focaccia. I was informed by the husband the focaccia is made fresh daily by his wife so of course I had to try that. The wife was nice enough to let me try a sample of the prosciutto and I have to say -- it was delicious, so getting it on a sandwich was going to be a no-brainer. The Milano was for my father. Watching them make the sandwich, they put two huge pieces of chicken cutlet, mayo, lettuce, tomato, and freshly sliced mozzarella. Again, I got the focaccia bread. Both sandwich's were drizzled on the top of the focaccia bread with fresh Italian olive oil which was just the cherry on top. I had told the owners it was my first time and we had a great conversation, that they were nice enough to give me and my parents 3 free mini cannolis -- which was completely unexpected and highly appreciated! As far as the food goes, I don't have enough adjectives in my vocabulary to describe how delicious this sandwich was. From the delicious meats, the fresh veggies, and my personal favorite part -- that focaccia bread. I would buy that alone. They had specials on their menu the day I went that was a not on their menu -- a meatball sub and arancini balls. Also, keep in mind, that this shop is inside the Mobil gas station on 441 and SW 18th. There is a sign on the outside of the gas station, but if you're driving by and unsure of the location, I can confirm it is inside the Mobil. Overall, a great experience; delicious food, great people behind the counter. Only caveat I would say is it is a little bit higher price for a sandwich, but with the current economy where a McDonalds burger is over 10 bucks, you truly get what you pay for and that is top quality, fresh and delicious food. Will definitely be coming back here in the future.
