My business has a showroom booth here at the Festival Marketplace and I eat breakfast at the food court almost everyday. This Bagel and NY Style deli is great. My typical order consists of a cheese omelette, a bagel, and a coffee but, I enjoy everything I order from this place. The staff running the place is very friendly and have yet to mess up on any orders. They run the place very well. The bagels are fresh and can be bought a dozen at a time if you wish. If you're at the Festival Marketplace in the morning; I highly recommend you have breakfast here. You won't be disappointed.

(OLD photo/diff recipe now) B&D's chicken salad platter for around $11.

Nothing fancy about this place. Just a good toasty bagel in the food court. Friendly staff.

Then heard a woman behind the counter ask if we wanted to see a menu. Not knowing any different, we said sure. She was super nice and polite. We chatted about how amazing everything looked then places our order. While waiting for our order, we sat down. Then came to find out if you order at the counter, you cannot dine in. Again, no clue this was the policy. No one was at the host stand when we arrived. Nothing was mentioned when ordering. We'd never been before so we didn't know. The bagel was ok. Light and airy. Our coffee was about half full. A bagel sandwich and two half full coffees was $20.

I can order my food and sit down and by the time I'm done I am sweating. It shouldn't be like that. Today I said something. I asked the women at the front weather she could make it cooler in the restauran. She said no it was because the door was opening and closing all the time. i asked her to ask the manager, and she said ok. I sat in the back and noticed the thermostat said 77degrees. when she delivered my food I showed her the "77 degrees " and she said she would say something to the manage. either the manager didn't want to help or didn't care but nothing was done. I'm sure that lowering it to 74 or 75 would make people come back more often. I finished my meal sweating and left. not sure I'll be back. Sorry Mark p.s. Maybe some ceiling fans would help!

The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The environment is fun, and there are plenty of clever artifacts and photos to engage the eye. On to the food... we ordered the Southwest bowl and the lox bagel. As you can see from the pictures, the portions are sizable and the value for this area was decent. I think the total bill was around $30 for two entrées, a tea, and tip. The bowl has beans, tomatoes, avocado, potatoes, eggs, and cheese. It comes with a Mexican sauce and sour cream. We used a little of the sauce, as we found the dish a bit bland. Both eggs and black beans needed a little salt to enhance their flavors. While it was good, it was very soupy. The beans were not drained well, which I'm guessing--combined with the tomatoes--caused it. The lox bagel was beautiful but very hard to eat. The owners might want to consider dicing the tomatoes, onions, and cucumbers, as there's no way to eat this without deconstructing it. The salmon was good quality. Next time, I'd get a seasoned bagel instead of plain--it would probably be epic on an everything bagel. There are many other options for breakfast or lunch, and we would probably come back to try something different.
