CleanEatz has opened its fourth South Florida location at 4800 W Hillsboro Blvd Suite A10 in Coconut Creek, offering a great spot for health-conscious diners. Owned by local fitness enthusiast Jonathan Dolce, this spot serves up a variety of high-protein, low-carb, and low-sugar meals, perfect for those looking for healthy, flavorful options. CleanEatz offers convenient meal plans with customizable dishes like the Chicken Enchilasagna and Teriyaki Chicken Stir Fry. If you're dining in, the café menu features tasty options like the banana and chocolate protein smoothie and the shrimp wrap with Thai chile sauce, fresh veggies, and grilled shrimp in a low-carb wrap. I paired it with their spicy whole wheat mac and cheese--delicious!

No greeting let alone acknowledgement once we came through the door and there were only two customers already sitting inside so it's not like it is busy. The floors were unclean, and we did not know how to order since no one welcomed us nor came to our tables with menus. So we asked them how does this work and they told us to come to the front where the menus were. Pathetic. The language barrier was so bad that it took a long time to place orders. Then once the food was prepared, we found it sitting on the counter for us to grab ourselves. Wow. When the 3rd plate was ready, THAT'S when they brought it to our table. There was such a lack of hospitality that one of our girls adamantly stood at the front to wait for her order so that she could bring it to the table herself. But guess what? When it was time to close, they were suddenly quick to help take all of the plates. One last person came to join us and she received absolutely no acknowledgement as she came through the door. We had to tell her that she needed to go up front for a menu to order. The menu choices are already extremely expensive, but finding a place that's unwelcoming, dirty even during low traffic, employees with a strong language barrier and who are on their phones as paying customers walk in is such a slap in the face. I gotta pay you an arm and leg just to serve myself???? Unacceptable. I was so turned off and upset. This is my first and last time stepping foot in this backwards place.

They have a ton of fresh ingredients, so many protein choices, and the whole ordering process was super easy. It's one of those spots where you can actually customize exactly what you want without it feeling complicated. Everything was pretty clean and the overall setup is great. I genuinely want this place to do well because it's such a good concept. I do have two small pieces of constructive feedback -- and I'm only sharing because they're simple fixes that would dramatically improve the experience: 1. The trash can situation. Right now it's a small pop-top lid that you have to physically push down with your hand. When customers are bussing their own dishes, it ends up feeling messy and unsanitary. A larger open-top trash can (or foot pedal style) would be such an easy upgrade and would instantly make the space feel cleaner. 2. The women's restroom needs a hook or small shelf for purses. There's currently nowhere to set anything down, and it didn't feel as clean as the dining area. Even a simple wall hook would completely change that experience. Again, sharing this because I think this place has so much potential and I'd absolutely come back. With a couple small tweaks, it would be a 10/10.

They were busy inside making numerous food orders. We decided on the Sunset and Tuna wraps. The food was very fresh and tasty. The tuna was perfect for me as it wasn't drowned in mayo, there was nice balance to it. We were given complimentary soups with our wraps. The soup of the day was sweet potato. It too was very fresh tasting and delicious. They also had banana bread at the register that I couldn't resist. The price was very fair for the quality of the food you get. We will definitely be eating here again in the near future.

Just Salad and I have had a complicated relationship…read more Some visits have been excellent. Some have been disappointing. It's been a little like dating someone who alternates between bringing you flowers and forgetting your birthday. But this visit? This wasn't a dip in the roller coaster. This was the roller coaster jumping the tracks, catching fire, and somehow landing in the parking lot. What should have been one of the simplest restaurant transactions imaginable turned into a master class in how to make customers regret spending $40 on two salads. Let's start with the reusable bowl program. My wife and I purchased the reusable bowls directly from Just Salad as part of their promotion. The whole point is that bringing them back earns you a free premium item on your salad. Seems straightforward. We brought the bowls. We ordered the premium additions. We got charged for them anyway. I had to point out the bowls and explain the program before the charges were removed. Strike one. Then I asked to have the points from the purchase added to my loyalty account. The response? "Too late." Too late? I was literally standing at the register. The transaction wasn't even cold yet. Apparently there is a secret window of opportunity for loyalty points that closes faster than a Black Friday doorbuster sale. And here's my question: Why do I have to ask at all? It's your loyalty program. Shouldn't the restaurant be asking customers whether they're members instead of acting like points are a classified government secret? Strike two. Then came the dining room experience. We ordered two salads and two drinks and planned to eat there. No tray. We had to ask for one. Then my wife asked for a fork. The employee handed her exactly one fork. I asked why there was only one fork for two people. Without missing a beat, he responded: "She only asked for one." Now, I don't know what kind of advanced dining experience we're running here, but the last time I checked, most people don't share a single fork while eating two separate salads. Do customers typically eat the second salad with their fingers? Should we have drawn straws to determine who got utensil privileges? For forty dollars, I wasn't expecting white-glove service. But I was expecting two forks. And maybe just a tiny amount of common sense. The most frustrating part is that none of these issues were major on their own. It's the accumulation. Inconsistent food quality. Inconsistent service. Being charged for benefits that are supposed to be free. No loyalty points. No tray. One fork. And an overwhelming attitude that suggested helping customers was somehow an inconvenience. Forty dollars for two salads should come with a side of customer service. Instead, it came with a side of indifference. I'm done. One star. Good riddance, Just Salad. There are plenty of restaurants that would be thrilled to take my $40 and provide something that shouldn't be this difficult: consistency, competence, and basic customer service.

So when I…read morerealized Just Salad had recently opened, I decided to grab Pops and give this spot a shot! Going in, we timed our visit perfectly, reaching the counter to order just before the dinner rush arrived. Tonight, we ordered 1x Mezze Crunch Wrap with crispy chicken and 1x Peruvian Chicken Plate. Moving on with my review, we were both pleasantly surprised by the quality, freshness, and service! The Mezze Crunch Wrap was excellent; perfectly tossed in creamy tzatziki and packed with a vibrant blend of fresh greens, feta, tangy peppers, and tomatoes. The peruvian chicken had nice contrasting flavors between the creamy cojita cheese and aji Verde, pickled onions, and sweetness from the corn + potatoes! In addition to the food, the salad crew also took quality care in preparing our meals fresh to order. Furthermore, would like to mention that despite the ~$15 tag per entree, the meals are large enough to be split into 2 very filling portions which makes this an excellent value for the price. Overall, we had a solid experience at Just Salad tonight and would certainly come here again. Final rating 5/5 stars!

I first visited their Fort…read moreLauderdale location, and when I saw that they called the sandwiches "hoagies" I got a little excited. I grew up in northeastern Pennsylvania and back home, subs are called hoagies. In other parts of the country they might be subs or heroes, but not where I'm from. The other regional staple is that we always have birch beer at our hoagie shops. Now, living in South Florida, I rarely find birch beer, but when I do, it's a great day. Well, Laspada has birch beer. On tap. I was in heaven. The other great thing about this place is that the way they make the sandwiches. I'll save the actual construction as a surprise, because you have to see it to believe it, but they put meat on the bread, then load it up with whatever it is you want in the way of vegetation, then more meat on top! This place is awesome! Unless you're a vegan, but then you wouldn't be going to a hoagie shop, so it doesn't matter. But for normal people, it's incredible! Hands down this is my favorite hoagie/sub/hero shop in the area. And they have more than one location so I can get a hoagie pretty much anytime I want one.

If sandwiches had a Hall of Fame, this place would have a first-ballot plaque and its own highlight…read morereel. Walking into LaSpada's Original Hoagies isn't just ordering lunch, it's stepping into a deli version of a live sporting event. There's energy, there's precision, and yes, there's the legendary "airmail" toss of freshly sliced meat flying down the line like it's got somewhere important to be. Blink and you miss it. Smile and you're part of it. I went with my go-to: the Italian. And not just any Italian... this thing shows up dressed to impress. We're talking Boar's Head ham, cappy, pastrami, and provolone, sliced fresh right in front of you, then launched with deli theatrics onto perfectly waiting Italian bread. From there, it gets piled high with crisp veggies and those Italian peppers that quietly steal the show. Every bite hits like it's been rehearsing for years. Somewhere around bite three, I had a moment of clarity: "This isn't a sandwich... it's a commitment." Plot twist... you think you're just grabbing lunch. You're not. You're entering into a multi-meal agreement. A large sub here doesn't just feed you, it sticks with you. Lunch today, lunch tomorrow, maybe a late-night "just one more bite" situation. It's generous in a way that feels personal. My wife ordered the roast beef, and wow. Perfectly rare, ridiculously tender, sliced fresh and yes, sent flying down the line like it had a boarding pass. It was the kind of sandwich that makes you reconsider your own order mid-bite. Quick detour, because it deserves it... the homemade macaroni salad. I don't throw this around lightly, but I'd put it up against anyone's for best in class. Creamy, balanced, and somehow disappears faster than you expect. That's not an accident. And then you remember... this place took home "Best Sub in South Florida" from the Sun-Sentinel in 2025. Not surprising. Honestly, it feels overdue. Micro twist: you walk in thinking you'll try something new next time. You won't. You'll be back for the same order, and you'll be happy about it. After 25+ years in Coral Springs, they're not just consistent, they're automatic. The kind of place where you don't wonder if it'll be good... you just decide how hungry you are. Highest recommendation. Five stars, no hesitation. Final thought: Some places make sandwiches. LaSpada's Original Hoagies makes believers.
