One of the cleanest Starbucks! Food and drinks are the same as any other Starbucks. I also don't think the drinks should be based on the location but rather the barista that makes it. First time here, I needed a place to chill and work. They had a lot of seats available from communal table, high top tables, and lounge chairs. The bathroom was kept clean as well If you need a place to study or read, you can definitely count on this location

STARBUCKS OCEAN RANCH, DANA POINT: It's unfortunate that this place is dirty, because the staff is friendly and kind. The bathroom is filthy, and the floor behind the counter is filthy! It was a slow period of time when I arrived, the only person in line NO EXCUSE.

Fast and accurate mobile order fulfillment. Clean location and restrooms and conveniently located in the Ocean Ranch shopping center.

So I normally have no comments about this Starbucks - average as far as SBs go. Today this guy has his dog in the store - no special jacket depicting service dog status. The guy only got a water and was there for over 2 hours on his iPad. Dog would walk around establishing perimeter - and finally the manager said he needs to be on a leash. I thought there was rules about animals in food establishments. Dog kept sniffing people and the guy was oblivious to discomfort of patrons. The dog kept sniffing around my food and licked my ice tea cup (gross). I think SB needs to watch for this... the dog is ticking me off - and the obviously idiot owner who has no regard for others.

Very clean and friendly atmosphere. The line was quickly handled and everyone had there dream treats to go. The smells and music is so relaxing. I'm curious about grilled cheese sandwich and the s'more frappuccino is YUM!!!

This Starbucks location is still more miss than hit. They just don't seem to have any sense of hustle or urgency. Mobile orders average 2-3 times longer than the estimated time. This is the location where you go to see a few people in line waiting while employees chat to each other ignoring most customers and get around to making coffee when they feel like it. Go down the road to the other Starbucks on Golden Lantern. Where it can be twice as busy and you will still get your order twice as fast along with someone who says hello or thank you. Hit and miss is still the deal at this location.

Horrible service. Lady was complaining when we did nothing and did not let us get 5 waters, there's no limit on how much water you can get.

I visited Japan late last year and it was the best travel experience of my life, so to have a little slice of it here in my little town of Laguna Niguel is so special. And it's open early enough for the Finance Girls! The word that comes to mind is authentic. The barrels of beans waiting to be roasted in the front, the minimal menu, the pour-over style coffee for every cup, the chic industrious decor, super friendly service from every barista. It's hard for me to want to make coffee at home when I can have this! Worth every penny. Can't wait to gift my loved ones with bags of their freshly roasted beans. Do not sleep on Maméya!

Genuinely surprised I haven't left a review sooner. It's a small, quaint shop with a clean and mellow interior, relaxing jazz playing in the background, and aroma of freshly brewed coffee that always transports me back to Japan. Daisuke and his team greet everyone with such genuine warmth that you immediately feel welcomed. Their hospitality is unmatched, but what keeps me coming back is the consistency. Every drink is made with care, and they're always happy to take the time to explain the differences between their beans, recommend something based on your preferences, and answer any questions without ever making you feel rushed. You can tell they truly care about both their craft and their customers. I usually order the café au lait, and it's the only coffee shop where I'm confident in asking them to make it however they like. Every now and then I'll also pick up a bag of their beans to brew at home, and I highly recommend doing the same. They carefully help you choose from their wide variety, then grind the beans for you or sell them whole if you have your own grinder. Grinding fresh beans takes about 15-20 minutes, so if you're driving from farther away, I'd recommend calling ahead or placing an order through their website for pickup. The quality of the coffee speaks for itself, but what really sets this place apart is the experience. It's rare to find a coffee shop where both the product and the people are this consistently exceptional. Where most coffee shops tend to rush you out I think the difference here is that you genuinely feel welcomed. Wishing Daisuke and the entire team nothing but continued success. They deserve every bit of it. If you're looking for incredible coffee, authentic Japanese hospitality, and a place that genuinely cares about what they serve, do yourself a favor and stop by. You won't regret it.
