For a chain this big, proprietary wifi is the silliest thing. They get two stars and not one because, yes, the patio is nice.

I frequent this starbucks because of the room in the back! Unlike the front room with a lot of noise the back is usually quiet with folks doing their hw, reading a book, or on their computer (like myself). The staff are very friendly as well! read more

Sometimes these guys are great, other times they're very condescending and rude. Today they messed my drink up and the older barista scolded me about ordering correctly then refused to remake my drink. (I ordered a non-dairy drink and he wouldn't remake it and scooped the whipped cream off the top.) I saw him give someone a cup of decaf and refuse to give him what he ordered because of "what is written on the cup". Make sure you make them remake your drink if they mess it up! read more

It's still just a Starbucks in a neighborhood of Intelligentsia, Gaslight, etc. -- but it's still nice. I like the interior design, the Logan sign, and the baristas here are just so nice and enthusiastic. It can be slow sometimes but I prefer friendly and slower to fast service that's curt or rude. read more

I go to this Starbucks all of the time and I have always been happy with the service and quality. What inspired me to write a review was the above and beyond service that I received today. My toddler fell asleep in the car and I didn't want to wake her up so I called in to ask if there were any drive-thru Starbucks locations in the area. The person who answered the phone kindly offered to help me and took my order over the phone and delivered it out to my car that was parked outside. First time going to this Starbucks and the lady who took my order did not even say "Hello" just began scanning my items and seemed to make me feel uncomfortable, like I was just supposed to tell her my order without feeling welcome. She did manage to greet the woman behind me after she checked me out which made me feel sorry for this place because they obviously pick and choose who to be friendly with. I have never gotten a feeling like this one with any starbucks, for sure never going to this location ever again. so its Starbucks with a really nice patio and newly renovated. looks really nice probable the nicest Starbucks I have ever been too. helps they are right off of Logan Square's boulevard. I am not sure why people like to subject themselves to the haughty Barista's at the trendy coffee shops but hey to each their own. I agree the manager can be a bit droll and stand offish but the rest of the staff are quite nice. I am perfectly happy going to a chain store versus the local trendy Jo shop. mostly because I do not get snide looks, remarks, and what not from your local Chicago hipster barista that seems to be employed every where else. I cannot express how much I live Starbucks and the people at this specific one to be exact. One night I was sick and tired and had just finished grocery shopping, going through the drive thru and I realized that I had forgotten my wallet! I was so apologetic but the workers we so understanding they gave me my drink for free and my mummy cake pop. They made me so happy and I did successfully retrieve my wallet but they were just so friendly and understanding I cannot thank them enough even this small gesture meant so much to me! Every time I've come here they have always been pleasant and the atmosphere is great except the building is always chilly. Lol Starbucks for the win! read more

I love Starbucks! But this particular location totally disappointments me every time I try to give them a chance. I ordered a grande caramel brûlée and I received a tall in a grande cup. The next time I went in I decided to purchase a reusable cup and order a grande coffee, the cashier grab the cup of the display and gave it to the barista. The barista proceeded to pour coffee into the reusable cup she didn't even rinse the cup and when she gave it to me the lid was dusty. I was shocked and upset on how they just gave me my coffee in a dusty cup! I was already on a time frame to get to work and this was just going to delay me. Never again at this location! read more

I did not go through the drive thru, i went inside. The Staff was very friendly, and smiled a lot, I ordered my drink like usual, and had no problems redeeming my free reward. As I was waiting for my drink, I talked with the Barista making it, and she was very nice. I got a Venti Caramel Macchiato hot, and I loved it. The drink was not too sweet, but not to bitter. It was the perfect mix. I strongly suggest this starbucks for the quality of drinks and the friendliness of the staff. read more

nice patio. maybe because i was there an hour before they close (no other customer in sight). i ordered a caramel macciato that had no caramel or vanilla. Not even a little bit either(my friend works at another starbucks, and i had him try it out). i'm not a special order type of person, so at least get your own recipe right! that is all. read more

This place has a great, friendly staff. There's usually a seat available, if you care to stay for awhile. Their outdoor patio is beautiful. The only complaint I have, and it's a weak one, it's difficult to find parking. Sometimes I have to park illegally (near a bus stop) for a quick drop-in. read more

This is a rather large Starbucks in a cool building. It has a massive seating area and a nice outside patio. Different crowd than you'll find at most Seattle based coffee shops in the city. 3 stars because it's Starbucks. read more

I wouldn't normally rate a Starbucks, but this one is great. We used to live in this neighborhood and would walk here almost daily. The staff are super friendly and helpful. We moved to Texas and we miss them! No joke. Plus, there's a customer who comes in the mornings who wears a snowsuit in winter that says "God" on the back. You can't beat that. read more

I live right across the street from this one but go anywhere else unless it's late at night. If you visit this store and there is any sort of line at all (let alone Sat/Sun morning when the line is to the door), be prepared to wait 20 minutes. That will give you plenty of time to observe why you are waiting in a line 20 minutes for a cup of coffee - they only use one cashier/register most of the time...even though one sometimes two additional employees are spending their time wiping down counters/tables...I appreciate a clean place, but when customers are waiting in line so long during peak time, why not utilize the second register? read more

this starbucks has a great location--right on the boulevard and right on my route to the train. all of its employees have been friendly and i think overall they do a great job at making the drinks. they seem to be on top of rush hour traffic--i've been to locations that were seriously a disaster--this isn't one of them. there seem to be a lot of complaints about how small this location is. anyone that had to go to the one at state/ohio before they remodeled would be with me in saying this one is just fine--even for someone that's claustrophobic. this has one of the best patios for a restaurant in the area--let alone a coffee shop. it should also be mentioned that it has a posse of cute dogs that are regulars outside that make the experience of getting coffee before a commute that much more satisfying. read more

back room always gets smoke in from employees smoking outside in back. Drives me nuts!! I hate smoke, but love Starbucks. Makes them look bad. If you want to smoke on your work break, Lock yourself in a air tight dungeon so you ONLY kill yourself. Sorry starbucks, but I don't like when people kill me without asking. read more

I love this place, and they have an awesome back room nicely separated from the madness in the main ordering area. Sadly, they did a poor job ensuring this back area has decent WI-FI signal. If this issue was fixed I would frequent this location way more often. read more
