I decided to stop by Starbucks to see if they had any fun flavors available - they did - Snickerdoodle! It was tasty, but at $8.12 for a "small" Medium, it is not worth it. I remembered why I never go there. With a dollar tip added since it's not the staff's fault, over $9 is way to much for such a small size. Actually, I don't know if there's a size big enough for that price! LoL There are many better options out there for a lot less money. This is a sad review. First, not clean and neat. That is a first for this location. It is 656pm on a Tuesday and they have one seated customer and two of us are walking in. She is picking up and I want to place an order. Unfortunately, there are three teenagers deeply involved in their conversations and we are waiting for them to turn around and acknowledge us while the one Barista is working the drive-thru and producing orders by himself. I asked them if they would not mind me interrupting them for just a moment to place an order. The cute little besties did not understand the sarcasm. The male cashier responded no problem, they can wait, to the two girls who giggled, I ordered my coffee and moved down the counter to the one working team member, the tall barista who looked at us with a smile. He quickly processed the drive-thru orders then made our drinks and told us to have a great evening. We both commented on his great service and said that we would remind ourselves to only use the drive-thru in the future. Big shout to the young man who was keeping the store running while his black apron wearing team members were chatting and relaxing. read more

poor service, yes they gave me a cold coffee and then gave me a second cup that was just as cold.

We got here about 10:45 am on a Sunday. The parking lot is a bit small. Not sure if it was because there were about 20 cars in line at the drive thru or because the was just a tight fit. We went in, and there were about 15 people waiting for their order. I noticed the bakery case was pretty empty except for a couple desserts. The employee at the register was nice enough but not overly. We purchased a pumpkin cold brew, iced chai latte, and two breakfast sandwiches all for $23. I was reminded why I don't frequent Starbucks anymore. This was a convenience purchase. Overall, decent. read more

Absolutely horrible service and horrible drinks!! Actually the worse Starbucks I've ever been to!!

Usually I enjoy this location but this was a weird visit. I am assuming that they are short staffed and may have been getting their butts kicked today but I can not completely excuse the experience.. floors were rough, every surface sticky and gross. Obviously had not be wiped, serviced, kept up with, or looked at as a priority. Rough smell in front of pickup counter, crumbs on all prep areas, trash cans full, baristas hands in them no gloves and no hand washing in sight. Asked for drink to be blended, wanted to try something new with my cold brew; was served my cold brew with maybe 4 tiny pieces of ice and when asked about it being blended she put the contents of the cup into the blender without adding any ice so that it would be a blended beverage. I'm confused by the confusion. Maybe it was just a rough day.. but certainly a strange experience. read more

I'll start off with I'm not a huge Starbucks fan. Mainly because I'm not a big coffee person. However my wife is so that naturally lends itself to becoming a patron of Starbucks. This Starbucks is interesting. The location it's in it's too small for the amount of volume they do. If you intend to go inside I would highly advise parking closer to the exit of the small shopping center. The line can get so long you'll be blocked in from leaving. Forever outside of those issues it's hard to give this anything greater than three stars because they do the absolute bare minimum of giving you your coffee with little fanfare. If you're looking for your Starbucks kick this place will do but other than that I would say there's nothing here to write home about. Ordered a brown sugar shaken espresso and it's always looked the same until this location. They didn't fill the cup with anything except ice. When I came in to ask hey why's this barely filled with any drink. I paid 7.25 for not even half a cup of coffee? They then said well that's how shaken espresso is done when I've never seen it made the way they did. So when they were remaking it the employees were talking trash about me. If I could give 0 I would. Ordered 5 frappachino mobile order, done it in the past no problem. I had 4 kids with me waiting 10 minutes in line because it's always long and takes forever. Get to speaker told i have to come in too many orders???? I said i cant i have 4 kids and I been waiting 10 minutes. As always, I am checking in to another Starbucks b/c my lovely fiancé needs her caffeine. Gotta have it! This cafe is along the main strip of Taylor Road, so be sure to make that left/right into the plaza (across from Five Guys). Parking is open to anyone b/c there are multiple stores in the vicinity that use the same parking. The restaurant has plenty of outdoor seating on the patio. (I have not been inside yet due to the fact I only been twice thru the drive thru). The drive thru can be a hassle for others parked of the line gets super long. Both times at Starbucks, my experiences were very pleasant. Ordering was quick as always. The first outing was a little long winded due to the fact a customer was being very rude/bothersome and holding up the line. Barista Alex was tending to this customer and provided great customer service through it all. And continue his quality service even when I reached him to cash out! One star is too much. This is the worst Starbucks I have ever been to. Terrible customer service. Extremely slow. Can't make a good coffee to save their life. They Never substitute their dairy for non dairy when you ask. I always end up with dairy when I ask for soy or almond or oat and it destroys me. Not much of a Starbucks fan (I prefer DD and Wawa coffee more) but this place isn't too bad. I like the layout of this small shop. Staff was real friendly, the barista gave me a free grande blonde coffee because it was the last batch for the day. The only two concerns is the traffic flow. One, there is very little parking available. And for what parking there is, the lot is really cramped. It is in a small plaza that used to be a restaurant. Now there is Starbucks, Hair Cuttery, Cricket Mobile, a frozen yogurt bar and a Jersey Mikes. Too small of parking Second, the drive up is in conveniently placed. You have to drive in front of the small parking lot to get to the drive up window. When the line gets backed up, it blocks all of the parking spaces. Starbucks should have opened on the opposite end of the plaza. This would have made flow so much smoother. Other than the parking/drive up, I liked it in here. I'm fairly new to the area and this is the closest Starbucks to my house so naturally I stopped by. On the 3 occasions that I've been here there was something consistently off with the order. My go to is the white chocolate mocha but it always tastes not right. My wife likes the pink drink and she said its not well blended and tasted off as well. I wish I could be more helpful but I can't quite out my finger on what they are doing wrong. Its not like it's burnt coffee or something, although I will say they will give you foam when your drink calls for whipped cream so watch out for that. read more

So the coffee is the usual. I actually don't like Starbucks coffee but the espresso is my jam. But the drive thru is typically outrageously long. Like 10 minutes wait or more. That defeats the purpose of a drive thru for me. They always fill my cup to the tippy top so it spills over in my car if I take the stopper out or if they don't give me one. Their drive thru is mostly always shut down or either their drive thru service is very slow , their customer service is horrible , and their drinks literally taste horrible . Every-time I come there it literally takes the workers 2-3 times just to make the drinks right . And if you go inside it even takes them even longer just to make the drinks .Then, when you go there literally you have to tell the workers to fill the drinks up to the top because if you don't your drinks will be half way full. I would highly not recommend this place to go to . But , I would highly recommend the Starbucks in Krogers at Suffolk Va . For the most part, the staff at this location is friendly enough but there was one time when one of the staff members made my husband look like a complete idiot for not knowing my order correctly. The people in the drive thru were SUPER nice and friendly, they also explained that I can no long get a Venti ice water with 2 shots of peppermint for free or under a $1.00 due to tic tok.... My order was a tall black coffee, pumpkin loaf and a venti Carmel Macchiato extra hot, extra shot, extra Carmel, upside down..... they forgot my pumpkin loaf.... I called the next morning letting them know that they didn't give me my pumpkin loaf.... Brandy was very matter of fact to let me know she'll be glad to give me the item that they forgot....I told her that it's an inconvenience for me to come back and that I want my whole order replaced. She told me that she's NOT going to replace my order but I can come and get the pumpkin loaf.... This type of customer service is not what I expect from a multi million dollar organization. Brandy was acting like it was coming out of her pocket, like I was in the wrong for not receiving my pumpkin loaf. This Starbucks is just down the road from me, but I will try to avoid it as much as possible. Nice staff, but not your Starbucks friendly. Nice store but every time I walk in all I can see is the mess behind the counter, I have never seen it like this in any other store. The drinks are fine although not appreciating it slid down the counter and my name not even called. The communication between the staff is seriously lacking. I asked for a venti mango dragonfruit,warmed bagel with cream cheese and a grande green tea kids temperature(colder than normal I forget the exact temp) with honey. Everytime I come to this location I have to wait 15-20 minutes and sometimes I'm on my way to work and I just want something so simple and it makes it such a hassle so if u have time to wait yes i would recommend the food and drinks are exactly the same as any other Starbucks and the customer service is pretty good the only literal thing is the time like I will get here about 10 minutes ahead of time and still have no time to spare. I've worked in the food industry and it's more than likely a corporate issue because for as much volume as they get in that parking lot they should have way more people hired and working to provide good drive through times but most of the time they wanna be cheap and not give stores any hours which makes no sense considering how high the prices are and how much money they accumulate during the day, the least you could do is give good service lol I'm already paying $5 for a small tea or coffee I think I deserve at least the bare minimum read more
