For some reason I have issues with this Starbucks 80% of the time.. I always get the same Venti Cafe Misto with no foam and use the mobile app... The good things about this location is the people that work there, they are all friendly and will to help out.. But there are. 2 things that happen regularly that question myself why I keep going back. Issue 1 - drinks not filled properly.. if I order a venti coffee with no foam, I expect to get a full vip of coffee... or at least 19 Oz at a minimum.. 90% of the time I will get my coffee, there is at least an inch of foam, or the cup is filled an inch or two from the top of the cup.. it is bad enough the price of my coffee has increased about $1 over the past 4 years, but to give me a grande coffee in a venti cup. See picture for what I got today. Issue 2 - the service is really slow for mobile orders.. I will usually order my coffee when I leave my home. Takes a little over 10 mins to drive to Starbucks. And when I get there l, several times I am still having to wait 10+ mins to get my coffee... I don't think it should take 20 minutes to make a coffee, especially when there are not that many people in the store. I have been sitting there waiting and have watched people walk in, order at the counter, and get their coffee before I did. Not sure if it is a process issue or what, but Orders should be filled in the order they are received.. and not based on method of order.. ie: drive thru, counter, and then mobile orders. Between the 2 I would say the low filling of the cups is my biggest pet peeve!!! read more

It has been a while since I visited this Starbucks location. After moving away, I do miss this store. I like the interior as it has a cozy and comfortable atmosphere. The parking lot isn't microscopic and impossible to get in and out of. The staff has always been friendly-not to say all Starbucks staff elsewhere aren't. Since it isn't near any major shopping hub/center it was nice to not have to deal with the holiday hectic shopping frenzy. read more

This review is for the cake pops only. I don't drink coffee, the last time I was in a Starbucks was about five years ago. I came for the cake pops because someone told me they are great and this particular Starbucks was a few doors down from where my child was getting a hair cut. Staff was exceptionally friendly so that was nice. They had several flavors of cake pops, we chose the chocolate ones, they were SO Delicious! Very moist not too big or too small and were not too sweet either, perfect treat for a toddler! We will definitely be back again when we are in the area. They have a drive-thru and a small patio seating area at the entrance of the store. Inside the store is average size with some tables and chairs. The only negative thing that stood out to me is that the trash can was over flowing. If I had a piece to trash to throw away, I would have had to take it with me as the trash was literally falling out of the can onto the sidewalk. read more

I am a Starbucks lover. I not only enjoy the beverages and the pastries (especially the banana bread) but I also like the courtesy of the employees. However at this location I was not happy with how the young man treated me. He was working the drive-thru and perhaps he was overwhelmed. I asked that he scan my app he said ok. Left the window, came back and gave me my total. I showed him my app and he ignore me and proceeded to take another order. Well, maybe he didn't hear me. So, I thought that I'd be patient and ask again. When he unapologetically returned he gave me the total and I asked if he'd scan my app. He said ok and I gave him cash. He came back with my change, I still had my app displayed...he saw it and nonchalantly said, "I forgot, here's your change." I asked if he could scan it or if I could add my receipt later and he ignored me. I repeated my question. He came back with my receipt. I understand that we all have bad days or things going on in our lives, but it's also a good idea to take a step back if you can't "show up" for work. Heck, I have to some days too! So my three 's are because of the treatment I received and the drink I ordered was not the same as I have ordered a thousand times before. It's almost like it was a different recipe. This wasn't my favorite Starbucks before. Now it is. Not only because they are less than 1mi from me, but because they now have nitro available. I'm not sure when they started but they do now and that's all that matters! It's a drive-thru Starbucks which is a major plus. This is the closest location to my house so I might be a little biased but this location is always consistent in their good service and well made drinks. I like this location as well because it's a bit out of the way so when they have new limited edition drinks you can usually find them here when they've sold out at more popular busier locations. I typically use the drive thru and always get the most pleasant people taking my order. Even if there's a line it usually moves pretty fast, the staff really knows how to hustle to keep it moving in a timely manner. If you've never tried any of their food I'd definitely recommend their breakfast sandwiches. My favorite is the Bacon and Gouda! Also, aside from how annoying "Instagram worthy" drink orders are, the Pink Drink is so damn delicious and so refreshing for spring and summer. Its one of the few trendy drinks that actually tastes as good as it is pretty! :) read more

This is my go to Starbucks, I go here on a normal basis. Today I went through the drive thru at 10 am, not busy, pulled right up, and ordered my venti in my usual drink. When I got to the window the cashier handed me a grande. I figured maybe they mis heard me. I checked the ticket on the cup and I did in fact order a venti. I parked my car and walked in. The window cashier recognized me and I just said that they put the order in correctly but it was just made in a grande. the cashier apologized and said they would remake it. He handed the cup to the barista, who then dumped my grande drink into a venti and filled the rest of the space with whipped cream. It's almost a 2 inch difference. This is incredibly frustrating. It would have taken the barista 60 seconds to remake the drink. read more

This Cedar Rd. location is always reliable when it comes to drink quality and service times. This is a solidly high volume location though, so the trash cans can be full sometimes. Other than that it's mad spacious and has outlets near most of its indoor seating! It also has outdoor seating and a drive thru. Solid location to catch up on a book or get some work done. read more

Nothing like a sanitized experience anywhere in the world. This place has a "drive-thru" which means the baristas don't have time for the patrons ordering inside. The staff makes or breaks this place. There's usually a 75% chance that this particular venue is dirty and in need of cleaning the tables as well as the bathroom. There's four comfy chairs. Some seating along the wall, most for two-people; some outdoor seating. It doesn't smell like coffee. Unfortunately, for Chesapeake, this is about the best you can get. My order is always correct and the staff is professional and hard workers. Sue has been there forever and is one of my favorite baristas. I'm giving them 3 stars because of the mobile order service. I was told it could take up to 20 minutes for your drink to be ready once you place your mobile order. They said it was probably quicker to order at the counter. I wasn't aware of this until I was almost late for week a few times due to waiting for my mobile order. I think more people need to be made aware of this as several people were waiting for mobile orders as well. read more

This Starbucks location is probably the most homiest, in my opinion. The store is spacious, has a drive-thru, plenty of seating, and a high ceiling that makes it seem even bigger. I frequent this location mainly on the weekdays to study, and from what I've seen over the years, it has become a central meeting spot in the community. I have been to way too many Starbucks to count. Anyone who is a frequent Starbucks goer that you can just walk in and ask for a water you don't have to order one. I ordered a cold brew and a breakfast sandwich. After I finished eating I wanted a water. I went up to the counter where you pick up ready drinks and asked if I could get a water. She told me that I would have to get in line and order one. Due to inventory. That is the most outrageous thing I've ever heard in my life. Check this one out: Me and Laura order our coffees and are waiting around, when a Chesapeake Police Officer, maybe the assistant chief judging from his rank insignia, is at the counter. This is the best Starbucks that I have been to (and I hit all of the ones when I travel). I've been going here 3-6 times a week for several years and there's only been two or three times that my drinks weren't right. The store is always clean and the staff is friendly.
