    Empty today!!

For me, this is easily the most dependable Starbucks location in the Chapel Hill area. It's within walking distance from my place, which is great because it allows me to get a coffee without compromising my diet plan. Enough about me, though. Today, I walked here about an hour ago along with my dog companion. Already being about 80 degrees outside, I was a little disappointed to find that the AC was not running very powerfully, as I was very sweaty, but who cares. Surprisingly, this place was very crowded for 8:30 AM, as it is usually empty, so I had to wait in a 15 person line before I was able to order. Luckily, the very friendly and expedient staff managed to work through the mob quickly, as I was ordered and out with my Iced Grande Latte within 6 minutes. A grand total of $3.92 after taxes may be a bit expensive for a 16 oz beverage, but with the high quality and dependability on display at this location, you could definitely do worse (go to Caribou Coffee and see what I mean). All in all, I highly recommend this location, as it earns a very deserving 4 stars out of 5. Quick Tip: For the optimum experience, I'd recommend getting drinks to go, rather than dining here. When busy, it can be very loud and crowded, which is not great for conversation or doing work.

This location got a positive COVId test and corporate won't let them close. Stay safe and go somewhere else.

Always packed but otherwise, it's your standard Starbucks. Outlets, free wifi, and plenty of drink/food options.

Good study spot if you get there SUPER early. Parking is tricky, but there is a parking lot behind it that costs $1.50/hr.

Obsessed! I need this in the Chicago area!…read more I was meeting up with a friend while in Chapel Hill and told her I'd love to grab coffee and take a walk. And she knew just the place... She brought me to Caffe Driade where we grabbed coffee (ice latte with almond milk for me) and then made our way down to trails where we enjoyed our coffee walking in this amazing wooded area. It was a hot June day, but between the shade and it being morning it wasn't too bad. There's also some tables up top by the cafe, but I personally prefer the walk/hike. The coffee was fine, but the hiking/atmosphere was amazing. If i make it back to the Triangle area I'll be here every morning!

This is an interesting place to have coffee at any time with friends and enjoy nature. There's so many places to sit amongst the trees and to relax it's quite enjoyable. They have a pretty decent selection of coffee and they offered some food items as well. I really enjoyed my time here. I just wish they had more comfortable chairs. The metal small chairs are not comfortable so we weren't here as long as we would've liked to have been. I tried something completely new out of my comfort zone, a golden milk latte. This was absolutely delicious and I would get this again. I was able to add honey as my sweetener and really enjoyed this different cup of coffee.

Machine? Pour over is literally just pouring water over the coffee in a filter. Weird. Apparently not real baristas. The BACON, EGG AND CHEESE BISQUIT was good. The bacon was thick, good quality piece of pork The place is clean, however the ambulance was felt a little like a cafeteria, and not as cozy as some coffee shops. Yonderlust is more than just a coffee shop--it's one of those spaces where you can easily spend an entire afternoon without realizing how much time has passed. It's a fantastic study and work spot: a mix of table sizes, plenty of outlets, and a relatively quiet, calm environment that makes it easy to settle in. It has solid coffee: Drinks here are consistently pretty good. I usually go for their Campfire Latte (a signature for a reason) or whatever seasonal syrup they're featuring, and their matcha latte is reliable too. It has actual, warm food: simple but satisfying sandwiches with enough variety to make for a perfect study snack or light lunch. I am often disappointed when coffee shops only offer cold pastries. It has entertainment: I love taking a quick study break to browse the shop's outdoor gear and clothing; it honestly feels a little like being transported to the West Coast for a moment (give me some Oregan vibes!). Service has always been quick and friendly. I wouldn't say any single thing here is the best in Durham--but together, it is special! There are many days when I find myself craving a few cozy hours at Yonderlust, followed by a quick dessert next door at Rose's.
