New favorite coffee house in Durham! My cappuccinos were consistently delicious during the 3 days I was in town, and the space was great to relax in.

Very cute little place! Great for a solo date, a study date, a date date, or just to chill. A great embodiment of #chillvibes. Definitely has a quieter chat feel on a Sunday, great spot to also get some work done. The menu looked great! I grabbed myself a hot matcha latte with whole milk and it has the right kind of earthy. No complaints, just great matcha :) Super random- but the soap they use for their bathroom also smells really nice haha. Greeted at the counter with a nice smile and staff seems very kind. Will be back!

came here for breakfast after a 5 hour drive from Pennsylvania & let me tell you it was the best first stop of our trip! i got a campfire latte & my boyfriend got a black sesame latte which was so weird but yummy & unique!! i also got a pesto grilled cheese which was 10/10 & also got the lemon avocado toast & that was so delicious! taste is 11/10 & the presentation gets a 13/10. this cafe is absolutely delicious!

Nice place to study, seats are comfy. I tried the campfire latte, which had some marshmallow in it but had more of a kick than sweetness to it. Pesto grilled cheese was not bad, thin and not much cheese but the pesto was good - a very light grilled cheese. The lemonade (seasonal) was very refreshing. Staff are really nice, and this place has very warm vibes. Would come back!

Super nice staff and my coffee was wonderful as they offered to steam my skim milk. While I wasn't in need of hiking gear the clothing looked very nice and quite stylish. A nice spot to grab a cup, the other customers seemed quite content.

Look for the amazing blue octopus mural on this fun, unique and delicious coffee shop and outdoor gear store! Yes, you heard it here first! The coffee is from Joe Van Gogh which is a local roaster. The octopus is named Positive Mental Octopus! Have some caffeine! Be positive! Life is great with a local special shop!! Thanks for making our drinks Sonja!

Yonderlust is a new outdoor store with a coffee shop attached! The space can fill up quickly but is a fun study spot. We ordered the Orange Vanilla Cold Brew and Campfire Latte. The Orange Vanilla Cold Brew was nice and citrusy, and was very reminiscent of a mocktail. The Campfire Latte was a fun and unique drink! We were a bit nervous about the kick of spice at first, but the cayenne was a welcomed surprise that added to the latte. Yonderlust is definitely one of the better coffee shops in Durham, and we'd love to try more of their unique seasonal offerings.

Is the "Reserved" parking next to the building reserved for customers? Always have such a hard time finding parking here.

Hi Bri, sorry but these spaces are reserved for our tenants that live upstairs. This is the only parking they have for their homes. Unfortunately downtown Durham has become difficult to park (without paying). We offer all the spaces we have for… Read more

They provided everything we needed (paddles, life jackets) and gave us a quick 60 second refresher on how to use the canoe before we headed off. We were at one of the channels off of Falls lake, and they gave us advice on which direction was the best to go off towards. It was pretty hot out, but being so close to the water made it cooler and the shade lowered the temperature a lot too. Along the way, we saw turtles, fish, and a couple of herons. The whole experience was very peaceful, relaxing, and low-stress. It was a great day to spend a warm morning outside, although I would recommend booking an earlier or later time in the summer since around noon there isn't really much shade on the water. Will definitely come back for another paddle!

Frog Hollow is a gem for paddling enthusiasts!…read more As someone in my mid-40s learning a young person's sport, I've had two incredible 1-on-1 sessions with Jer on flat water, with another scheduled this week and I can't recommend them enough. Jer's technical expertise, constructive criticism, and what i consider endurance training have been invaluable to build confidence for white water. It's easy to think you understand the sport by reading, watching, and listening, but reality hits when you're underwater and upside down. Jer has been fantastic in sharing both the positive and realistic sides of whitewater paddling, making the experience both challenging and rewarding. I still remind myself "nothing worthwhile comes easy at first". Lastly, if you're looking to improve your skills, fix bad habits, and gain a deeper understanding of the sport, Frog Hollow is the place to be! Thanks, Josh

The service there was pretty decent and the staff were nice /helpful. My favorite part about the shop is just the fact that they put so much energy into how it looks. There are scenes everywhere with taxidermy and replicas. Geese and ducks "flying" (hanging) near the ceiling. And they do have a large fish tank there with live fish. Overall I feel like you pay for the experience when you are there too

I asked the greeter (drowsy guy in beige and white) if he could call a manager to get some more cashiers. About 5 mins later Roger waddles up and is all confrontational, "Did you need something?" I said, "Yes, wanted to let y'all know we're over a dozen deep in line here." "We're working on it," barks Roger with a condescending tone. Then does an about face. To their credit and being fair, they did get another two cashiers a while later. But why the attitude, why the aggressiveness? I was just trying to spend my money in this establishment and I get bad-vibed? I love Bass Pro, but today's experience really drives home the fact that a good shopping experience is about a lot more than price and selection. Crappy employees can take what could have been a positive and turn it memorably negative.
