Main character moment

This Starbucks is giving "roomy but make it tiny." It feels spacious, yet there are only three tables... all sharing one long booth like a family reunion. Not really a fan of sharing a booth with strangers. I ordered the White Chocolaty Delight (aka a white mocha in disguise), and it did exactly what it needed to do. I was waiting for my ride, so I posted up with a book and pretended I was the main character. Low-key cozy, very much a vibe, would absolutely do it again just maybe at a different location.

Popped into Starbucks at a great location and loved how quick everything was! Staff were super friendly, and my Caramel Macchiato came out in no time- perfect for a little pick-me-up. Definitely a spot I'd stop by again! Starbucks 101 W Imperial Hwy, Brea, CA 92821

I love the decor in this Starbucks with some abstract art displayed. The City has a nice vibe to it and the patrons in friendly discussion. I ordered my food kept in the packaging and find I can keep a good supply for work and the weekends. I usually ask for a couple of slabs of butter, which are complementary and really add to the flavor, once toasted.

This is one of my favorite Starbucks. The employees are always friendly and get my coffee orders out in a timely manner.

Honey Citrus Mint Tea with loose tea floating

So what happened was. I feel like I'm getting a cold so I go into Starbucks in the gateway shopping center in Brea around 5 PM. There's no one in there, but the worker. A tall young man with curly hair. He doesn't greet me, doesn't say hello. I accept his rudeness because I just need the tea because I don't feel good. I order a medicine ball AKA Honey Citrus Mint Tea. I go to the restroom come out. My drink is on the counter no problem. He could be dry as hell whatever I just wanna get home drink the tea and feel better. So I can get inside my house I take a swig of tea and I have a mouth full of loose tea like literally.. What exactly happened? I've been to Starbucks many times over many years. I've had this medicine ball can't even count. How many times and I've never had loose tea in my drink. Very disappointed with the young man's dryness even more disappointed with having my order messed up.

Coffee anyone?

Stopped in for a quick coffee and egg bites which I totally forgot to take pictures of. I like this location the parking lot is a bit ridiculous cause the cars fly through here so parkers beware lol!! The service is great friendly and mostly quick. It's not my favorite Starbucks location but it's the closest one. So I would recommend just don't love the parking lot. Have a really beautiful day :) Be kind to everyone you meet - Aloha

Parking here is chaotic! There are too many popular businesses in this corner making it really hard to park nearby. I placed a mobile order and really liked their screen showing status of orders. Their restrooms have code due to homeless. This location has been revamped to reduce seating area inside.

The waitress was lovely, and I made sure to leave a good tip. They have plenty of outdoor seating--it's a perfect spot to take a breather and recharge when I'm feeling worn out from driving Uber. A great place to clear your head.

I rarely go here anymore since the remodel. 90% of the indoor seating has been removed and the close much earlier now. Starbucks has made it clear they no longer welcome customers to just hang out unless you sit outside. The atmosphere is no longer inviting. I'll just make my drink at home where I'm welcome to hang out as long as I like.

Meh, one of few dirty Starbucks locations. The restroom location is unfortunate, and makes the place smelly.

Seems like Communitea Coffee has cracked the code to what I-- at least-- am wanting from a coffee…read moreshop, starting with matcha. I got the earl grey matcha which are two of my favorite flavors it was of course delicious. Food: They had just rolled out a new menu that includes a slice of sourdough bread and butter for 5$. I'm really working on cutting out the sweet treats (which they have plenty of) so it was perfect for me. They also have wholesome foods such as breakfast sandwiches and burritos which-- if I didn't have dinner plans after my study session-- is always appreciated as too often the food at coffee shops are sugary pastries and a bunch of empty calories. Service was friendly and personable. Communitea shows its dedication to being a warm, welcoming third-space environment. There is a shelf filled with board games and a kids play area (if you have one of those). They have assorted merchandise like coffee beans, plants, mugs, chips & snacks, etc.. There were flyers for all types of events throughout the month. I don't often write reviews I don't even live anywhere near Brea, but I would love to see this business thrive if not expand.

The baristas were very friendly and accommodating and added extra syrup to try and help my latte and offered to switch it out for me too; in the end I opted for a refund. I tried their iced pumpkin latte with salted maple cold foam (the foam was delicious) but just way too bitter espresso for my liking. Otherwise, they have a good amount of indoor seating with plenty of room for strollers - it's very kid friendly here. They have a kids toy play area in the back corner along with a game chest!!! & There is a restroom available inside and everything was pretty clean too.

There were other folks around trying to get work done. Music level was pretty moderate. I got to place my order right away and it took only a few seconds to be ready. Parking wise was moderately busy as it's located in a plaza; it does share the space with other businesses and felt crowded at the time. American Express is accepted here.

The café has a bright, cozy, and minimalist atmosphere with warm wood tones and soft pink accents. The space is clean and well maintained. They also have a nice selection of pastries and breads, including different kinds of croissants and salt bread. I ordered The Usual, their cream-top latte. The cream was very thick and heavy, almost like whipped cream, so I think it may be a matter of personal preference. The coffee itself was decent, but I didn't find the flavor particularly unique or memorable. The staff were friendly and the service was good. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, but I didn't find anything particularly special about the coffee itself.

Omg! I just moved to the North OC area, and I'm happy to say I've found one of my new go-to coffee…read moreshop study spots in the area! :) I'm currently studying for a big exam, and it's been surprisingly challenging finding coffee shops to study at with the beautiful, modern, aesthetic ambience that makes me happy, without feeling anxious there won't be enough seats or space when I get there, esp since I have to drive a decent amount to get to cafes. I've been getting a little stir crazy at home and finally making the trek here was so worth it-- I felt more motivated than ever to get work done with a tasty treat. I'm not sure if it's because CSUF just started this week, or because I came on a Friday morning, but it was really spacious and open with tons of outlets (almost at each table). Not sure how other days are, but I'd love to bring my study group friends here in the future, since it's so hard to find places with enough space for study groups! Not to mention the clean bathroom haha and good wifi haha The staff here is also incredibly sweet and friendly, making it a comfortable and good experience. Because it was my first time, I asked the barista about her recommendation, and she also asked my general preferences to cater to my taste, and I ended up with a seasonal Birthday Cake Americano at half sweetness (since I don't have much of a sweet tooth). It was perfect for me! I don't usually get Americanos and have a sensitive stomach rn, but it was delicious and kind on my stomach lol. I also got a ham and cheese croissant, and maybe it could've been heated up a little more, but I did wait a bit to eat it, so it was no big deal. The other barista was also so sweet in answering my many questions haha The only struggle as others have mentioned is the parking - I ended up parking at the retail parking nearby, which had plenty of spots but can get pretty pricey, and it sounds like you can park in the areas others have mentioned still (like The Hub I guess has "New Here" parking spots or the employee parking spots?), so I'll need to look more next time. But there's quite a bit around the area within walking distance, you can easily make a day out of it too. Also since it is at the first floor of an apartment in a college town, there will be students going in and out, so just be prepared for that haha -- reminded me of dorm days, and I'm glad students have a spot like this :) Overall, the yummy coffee, amazing vibe and beautiful ambiance, especially as a study spot, alongside the kind and comfortable service has been just what I've been looking for in a coffee shop around here, and I'm excited to return! Thank you New Here!

Parking J's advertised on signs to be located in the parking garage next door. Upon driving inside, there are only TWO designated parking spots for the coffee shop; all other spots are for employees and assigned spacing. This put a damper on our visit to this place. Located a few blocks away from CSUF, this coffee shop is connected with an apartment building for CSUF students. There is ample space to study, numerous outlets, and plenty of chairs inside the shop. The windows are very big, letting in a tremendous amount of lighting. This is an ideal study space, which I wish I had when I went to this campus years ago. The interior design is very lovely and aesthetically pleasing. We ordered at the counter where one barista was located. They had about seven seasonal drinks, a consistent menu, and a window of pastries. I opted for their pumpkin vanilla americano and my fiancé got their Study Buddy. You can taste the coffee in both drinks. The study buddy has oat milk, hints of lavender, and the strong taste of honey. The pumpkin vanilla americano was quite sweet - the americano gives it the strong coffee taste, but the sweetness is quite overpowering. I don't think we'd be back to visit since parking is quite difficult. The barista wasn't too welcoming and there was hardly anyone inside. Their coffee is decent, but nothing I'd fight to find parking for. The interior, again, is very lovely and fantastic for students to study in. Thanks for having us!
