Confession: I don't care for warm beverages. Coffee, teas and cocoa are a rarity for me. But every now and again, I'll have a want for some tea.. On this visit I ordered a green tea. It was perfect on this cold night a few days before Christmas. I love that Starbucks offers the little doggies a pup cup, which is a little serving of whipped cream. The staff asked if they could see my little furry princess and they thought she was so cute! This location is in my neighborhood and I frequent it more than others when I want a hot tea or cocoa. I visit this location frequently (typically 1-2 times a week). The baristas are incredibly friendly, and there is almost never a line in the drive thru, making it perfect for a quick stop on the way to work. The interior is smaller than a lot of other Starbucks, but I've never been unable to find a table to sit and enjoy my coffee or get work done. I highly recommend this location! read more

I made new friends at an ultra marathon endurance event in Alabaster that October 2023 weekend. I asked for a ride back to Birmingham that morning. As compensation, I paid for their Starbucks post event drinks. It was cool to come here and just enjoy the Sunday morning after a grueling 24 hours of continuous endurance. It was nice to just sit at Starbucks & reminisce about what I did and looking forward to the day ahead. My friends and I headed to this Starbucks since it was close enough to my hotel. We arrived around 10am and it was a bustling place. The baristas were working and there was a bunch of empty tables, so I decided to set my luggage down to reserve me a spot while I mustered some energy to the counter to order my food and drinks. I ended up getting a venti chocolaty chip Frappuccino that day along with a brownie to enjoy the reward of success earlier in Alabaster. Starbucks is always a good place to hang out and enjoy the day no matter where you are. I spent about 3 hours here, relaxing and enjoying myself with my drink before heading to the Walmart nearby to shop for souvenirs. During my time at this Starbucks near Birmingham airport, I ended up drafting some Yelp reviews to pass the time. The service itself was nice, quick, and friendly. I always enjoy these times in Starbucks. It was a nice time and always good to have Starbucks. It was nice that it was a Sunday morning and it was not busy so I could just chill here for three hours and nobody didn't bother me. For the most part, though, it was in a good thing to have a stop here at Starbucks to just enjoy what I did, and just relax before I have to head home the next morning. This Birmingham Starbucks is pretty close to the airport, so you probably can come here on the way out of Birmingham or if you wanted to, leave the airport and come here for your day fix. The overall experience here at this Starbucks, near Birmingham Shuttlesworth regional airport was fantastic. I enjoyed the ambience, obviously, but it was a way to Ainize myself after a grueling 24 hours of running and Endo being on my feet for that long. The restaurant that sells very clean and had about four tables with a small little lounge. They do have outlets here, but I only saw one that was near the entrance. I could not charge my phone while I was there because someone was sitting in it for the entire time so I had to use my power bank. thankfully it had juice in it already. I don't think there was any air condition to speak of, but it was comfortable enough to wear. I did not really notice. The Wi-Fi here was pretty strong so I used it while I was here. The seats were comfortable and it was a nice day to be here for sure. It was neat to see the baristas working and that I was Happy I was here. I don't think I could ever ever had a Starbucks because of all the things you have to do. I do appreciate what they do every day. The prices here are typical of any Starbucks, but it is generally cheaper than my hometown of Honolulu, Hawaii. You can get a Venti drink for under five dollars but in Honolulu, Hawaii is tends to be over five dollars for sure. Supply and demand, I guess. And so, Starbucks, as you know, serves up delicious drinks and pastries. Complete for your every day lifestyle. It is pretty cool that there is a Starbucks practically anywhere you see, which is a great thing for anybody who needs drinks on the go. During my experience here at this Starbucks near Birmingham airport, I saw a lady was upset with her order, but the barista calmly listened to her problem, and they re-made the drink to her specific qualifications. It was cool and nice that they responded so quickly and effortlessly. And so, if you are ever in Birmingham, Alabama and need to be close to the airport for whatever reason, consider this Starbucks location if you're leaving Birmingham or just arrived, so you don't have to pay for airport coffee prices. Pretty sure you can save a dollar or two if you spend here. This particular Starbucks location is situated at 1658 Montclair Road in Birmingham, Alabama. It is situated in a small cul-de-sac, which was kind of nice along with Walmart with small short walk away. They accept your credit cards as well as cash. They also accept mobile payments as well. As far as parking goes, they have plenty of parking here for you, and whoever is accompanying you. Not sure about public transportation here in Birmingham but you may want to check the public transportation website. Of course, there's always Uber and to help you get here whether it's on your way to the airport or heading towards your destination from the airport and needing a Starbucks for your daily fix. Yes, I enjoyed myself here at Starbucks before ultimately heading towards the hotel for the evening. The ambience is always legit here. I recently visited this location yesterday and did not have a good experience. When ordering via the drive through I had to repeat myself more than a couple of times before my order was repeated correctly. When I got to the window to pay I told the cashier that I wanted to use my coupon which was BOGO, but I was charged for two drinks instead of one. After being charged the correct amount I was given my drinks. I ordered 2 Venti Iced White Chocolate Mochas with caramel drizzle and lined on the cup. My drinks had no ice in them and I didn't ask for the ice to be removed. The cashier at the window and the others working in the store refused to admit ice was absent. I order this drink every week and there is always ice unless I ask otherwise. They offered to remake the drinks but I was already frustrated and had been in line for a very long time. To top it all off I received straws that were not for the Venti cup size. I will not be returning to this location. read more

I love Starbucks, and this one in the Crestwood area was very much needed. I'm not sure how I lived here almost 15 years without one! Oh yeah....I was between 0-15 years old and didn't drink Starbucks yet. I usually come to this area to shop and with this one being so close to the Walmart here it's hard not to want to make a stop here! It's connected to the T-mobile building which was a little odd, but I'm not complaining. They have some of the speediest drive-thru service here as well. I got a tall iced coffee with classic syrup and cream in no time at all. It was delicious and probably one of the best iced coffees I've had. The workers are super friendly as well. They are constantly out of products, have outrageous wait times (Starbucks in major airports are quicker than this one), workers regularly say "the mobile order didn't go through" when it says on the app order received, drinks are never filled to the top/limited ice in cold drinks, music is SUPER loud in the store. Overall, just a horrible Starbucks to go to. Customer Service is below average, and there seems to be no sense of urgency to get drinks made quickly for customers. We stopped by this Starbucks this morning for a quite beverage as we were driving around Birmingham. About average size, with a drive thru, clean bathrooms, and enough parking. So, a decent Starbucks. The thing I'll note is that you cannot turn directly into the Starbucks parking from Montclair - you either have to turn onto Elder and then turn in or you can turn into the shopping center area from Montclair closer to Oporto and drive over to the Starbucks. read more

This was the one and only time I visited the location. Seeing that there were cars wrapped around the store (good sign), I decided to walk into the store. As usually, neatly kept inside, and super friendly staff. Was surprised to even see some of the crew members singing along to jolly music that was playing in the store. I literally just got burned here. The barista passed me a hot drink with a lid that was not properly secured to the cup. The drink spilled all over the car door, my hand, and lap. I screamed when the hot liquid hit my skin. The barista only offered to make the drink again. I had to ask for ice for my burning skin. That's when he offered me Burn Jel instead and said that's what they use when they get burns... I'm so upset. I know the whole Starbucks thing can be polarizing. I have friends that are complete coffee snobs that will absolutely never go to one. But for me who just loves good coffee and can't tell the difference in the nodes of each cup of Joe, Starbucks suits me just fine. At the very least, you know what you will get when you go to one. And sometimes needing some reliable coffee wherever you are in the country strongly beats out standing up against national chain coffee. This location is very similar to others. The are quick, with a pretty good product, and can still misspell your name from time to time. You can't order basic coffee drinks like cortado, breve and others, because the staff don't know what they are. The app, while great for managing gift cards and points does not let you order those basic drinks I like either. It also has a hard time letting you log in. I will say, I do much prefer blonde espresso to the regular blend. The regular blend tastes burnt to me. If you are a coffee person, in a bind and willing to skip all those inconsistencies, then you might get a cup of coffee you can drink. I've been in Bham for almost 2 months and AT&T (cough cough I!) haven't gotten around to ordering Internet. So when I need to do actual work I end up visiting different coffee shops around for free wifi and cups of coffee. I like this location a lot. Not super busy, so I can get work done (I'm easily distracted), and they employee friendly baristas. Strong WiFi outdoors which is helpful I was working late and they had closed but I was able to finish my uploads outside without issue.

This Starbucks is walking distance from my house, so super convenient, but it's always struggling. I don't know if they are understaffed or if the manager just doesn't know how to schedule but they need more than one person making drinks for as many people as are always in line. I'm sure the employees would be happier and friendlier if they weren't always slammed, too. read more

I work near this location so I stop here often for short sit downs to relax, swinging by to grab a quick beverage, and longer stays to enjoy two cups of coffee while reading and listening to music. When it comes to Starbucks, in general, I like the consistency from store to store and I think they have one of the best rewards programs. Until mid afternoon they will have two or three coffees already brewed if you are in a hurry and all day they will do a fresh pour over, letting you choose from several of their beans. This particular location stays busy, especially in the drive thru, but I have never waited too long inside. The baristas are really nice, there is plenty of parking, and they have three big leather comfy chairs. I love sitting in the comfy chairs. There is also a pretty nice outdoor seating area as well. read more
