I think this may be my new favorite coffee spot. I love the drive thru coffee concept. When I pulled in, they had two lanes open. They had signs up indicating directions on how to drive up. They also had signs showing the seasonal drinks, which was great. I also liked that I could see the menu before I got to order. The staff walks up to your car to take your order. By the time I got to the window, my order was ready. They have adequate staffing and they were friendly. I had a crème brûlée latte. It was so good. I got a medium just in case I wasn't a fan of it. However, I should've gotten a large, because it was so good. I definitely plan to stop back by soon, as I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Their variety of drinks are great! So many possibilities. Their service is great! Always smiling, good music playing, and they move fast. Almost any variation of a drink I want, they will do it!

The seating inside is a bit limited, so it can feel crowded during busy hours, but I noticed that they do a lot of to-go orders, which makes sense for a place like this. It seems perfect for grabbing something quick and healthy. I ordered the kale salad, and it was really good. It tasted fresh and light, which is exactly what I wanted. Sometimes it's hard to find something filling without meat, but this salad definitely satisfied me. My friend ordered the vegan wrap, and we were impressed that you can substitute the wrap for a gluten-free option. She said it tasted just like a regular wrap, which is great for people with dietary restrictions who don't want to sacrifice flavor! I had a great experience at Kale Me Crazy! It is a solid choice if you're looking for fresh, healthy options in the Homewood area. I would definitely go back!

And add on olives. It might have been the peanut dressing, but it's certainly not over-dressed by any means (more like massaged in). It might have been the sweet, chewy dried cranberries (I refuse to say, "craisins.") I also had a mediocre vegan wrap which desperately needed seasoning. I had ordered it with olives and paid extra for the add-on, but they forgot to put them on. Honestly, if I had only ordered this, I wouldn't come back here again because this wrap was not only not good, it was fifteen dollars. It really needed something to give it flavor, even a little salt would have gone a long way. But, that salad. Just do it. Unless you have a peanut allergy.

The space had a lot of people inside--many working or meeting up--so it had a lively, productive vibe. I ordered the superfood smoothie, which tasted good once I got it, but it did take a little while to come out. After ordering, I sat down for a minute before stepping out to the restroom, and it still wasn't ready for a bit when I returned. Overall, still a good experience and a nice spot to hang out, but the wait time was a bit longer than expected.

Meow! We ordered the Abyssinian Latte with vanilla and cinnamon, and it was absolutely the bomb -- warm, smooth, and perfectly balanced without being overly sweet. The space itself is incredibly cozy and inviting. Colorful furniture, eclectic paintings, and musical instruments hanging on the walls give it a creative, artsy feel -- like they actually get used by a local band after hours. It has that relaxed coffeehouse charm where you could totally imagine Phoebe Buffay singing "Smelly Cat," yet it's also calm enough to have a real conversation or get a bit of work done on a laptop. Parking is street parking only, but we didn't have too much trouble finding a spot. They offer pastries and I noticed they also serve breakfast items, though we stopped in just for coffee this time. The shop was fairly full, which is always a good sign, but there were plenty of small tables that comfortably seat two to four people, so it never felt cramped. The baristas were super friendly and welcoming, adding to the overall positive vibe. My partner and I ended up lingering longer than planned while we talked through our day's plans -- always a sign of a great coffee spot. Warm atmosphere, delicious drinks, and kind staff make this an easy five-star experience. I'll definitely be back to try more of their cat-themed creations!

Upon arrival I was called to the art work on the wall. A hand-painted picture if Ganesh. To the left a Ganesh was a hand-painted wooden carving of Durga, a warrior goddess who is the protector of the universe. If you know me or anything about my daughter, then the connections drawn out. It was exactly what I asked for, a sign from the universe. And she delivered! The story goes on to say when I asked about the Durga carving, I thought it would cost me about 200.00. The store manager went on the shelf to bring it down. It was dusty and had been there for many years. It was the last one in the store and she offered me a deal. Rather than pay full price, she offered me a significant discount off the art piece. It was at this point that I knew and felt the presence that I was asking for. I then shares the story about my daughter to a couple of the employees behind the register and an interested customer who sensed a great story was about to unfold

Entering the cafe we noticed a strong herbal scent that was pretty soothing. It was then that we realized there was a store alongside the cafe as well. The cafe itself had a pretty welcoming atmosphere with not that many staff workers. The cafe seemed to be pretty clean as well and eco friendly at its core. To eat, I ordered the Golden Temple Stack and my boyfriend ordered the Tofu Salad Sandwich. The Golden Temple Stack included guacamole, salsa, sour cream, Monterrey jack cheese, black beans, and brown rice layered in a bowl. My boyfriend's Tofu Salad Sandwich included whole wheat bread, romaine lettuce, tomato, vegan mayonnaise, and mustard with a side of the kettle brand jalapeño potato chips. For our drinks be both just got waters. I really enjoyed my bowl because of the Tex-Mex blends that made it easier for me to like since I'm neither a vegan or a vegetarian. My boyfriend also enjoyed his tofu sandwich and is wanting to try the other sandwiches they have as well. Go check out Golden Temple!
