Stopped by here to do a little bit of work and reading. The place was very serene inside and out. I spent about 2-3 hours there without even realizing. It was not that crowded when I went. I sat outside and inside. The only downside about being outside is that I wasn't able to find a plug for my laptop, but there are plenty inside. I tried their PSL Forever coffee and it was ok. A bit pricey. Service was pleasant. Will drop by again to enjoy the workspace.

House Eleven passes the vibe check. It's a coffee shop and bar that uses the genius design of converting an old house into a welcoming space. It has different rooms to chill in that are perfect for studying, catching up with old friends etc. Each room has its own thing going on, all with comfortable furniture. If you can't find a spot inside no worries because they have a patio that's just as laid back. I only came for quick drink but I will be frequenting House Eleven as my go to coffee place. There's no other place quite like it in Birmingham!

Best pastries and croissants So buttery and decadent Place was lovely with ample sunny and shady areas to sit and do work We caught up with friends I wasn't a fan of my drink strawberry matcha. I'm always trying to appreciate matcha but it's not gonna happen. It's an acquired taste that I can't like. Theirs wasn't very sweet and the strawberry was not coming thru as much as I would like But that fruit danish with the custard was a symphony of yum. Plenty of parking Place is kinda decorated like 3-4 big living rooms with different vibes Employees nice and nonchalant. They stay out of your way but are kind The kids enjoyed the back patio Ac was working good!

In astrology, the 11th House signifies friendships, social networks, community involvement, hopes, and aspirations. It represents the groups and communities you are involved in, your relationship with friends, and your broader social sphere. It also governs your long-term goals and dreams, and how you contribute to the collective. What a vision to take an older home and renovate it into a beautiful community space. The home is absolutely stunning. The baristas were amazing and the coffee was delicious. Hubby had the Honey Nut Love. Honey in our coffee isn't something we usually do so it was great to try something new. I had the Honey Citrus Fizz with Matcha, Topo Chico, OJ, & honey. They made it light on the OJ & honey for me and it was terrific. It was a busy Sunday morning so we had to wait a bit but there is plenty of comfortable seating while you wait. This is not a drive thru coffee kiosk; everything is made to order and is well worth the wait. Would love to see before & after pix of this beautiful old home. Highly recommend!

Super cute decor, great coffee and pastries. Lovely place to work or hang. I only went in the am but it also turns into a bar at night! Wish I lived in Birmingham so I could be a regular :(

This was my second time trying HouseEleven. The Caphe Sua Da is very strong and yummy, but i usually like to ask for more sweetener. I also got the Strawberry Dreams, but it was very disappointing. There wasn't any matcha taste and the strawberries were super sour. Basically tasted like watery strawberries. It was pretty, but I probably would not get that drink again. Wish they would use a higher grade matcha. Everything else was great. The staff were super helpful and friendly. The vibes is great with separate rooms and a back yard for studying or hanging out.

House Eleven is such a cool space! It's a renovated house which gives it such a cozy atmosphere. There are different rooms each with plenty of seating to pick from. There is also an outdoor patio with plenty of seating. They have coffee, matcha, and tea as well as a full bar. I tried the matcha and was not a fan but I'd love to try their coffee (it's from domestique). You order at the counter and then grab your drinks when they are ready. Perfect place to spend the day studying or to grab drinks with friends. I will definitely be back!

I stopped in last month while I was in town and loved the vibes. The bartenders were super nice and friendly and the drinks were good. They had my favorite local beer- Paradise Now. Can't wait to come back sometime soon to spend more time in the patio!

This is a very aesthetically pleasing coffee shop/bar/event space. This is a house that's been converted into a coffee shop and I love it. I ordered an iced chai tea latte with almond syrup ahd a fruit danish. Plenty of seating inside but opted to sit out back. There is a small stage on the back. Super cool place to work or read a book. The owner was there and he was very nice and provided knowledge regarding some of the coffee blends. Highly recommend

Nice place to hang out., have a meeting or gathering. The inside is like a house with several rooms full of furniture. There is a bar area. Outdoor seatingThey have coffee, teas, pastries, Lemonades. I really wasn't hungry but got an Arnold Palmer anyway. Could have been a little sweeter. I did meet the owner and talked with him and to a few customers. Owner was very nice. Everyone there was super friendly. My wife and daughter loved the drinks they had and the pastries as well. They have an outdoor area in the back with stage. The inside and outside are both groomed very well. There is also street parking and more in a lot to the left side a few lots down. They also turn into a bar later in the day. Very close to the Woodlawn library

I come here all the time, I'm a local neighbor and I love to shop at this family owned business! The service and drinks are absolutely phenomenal, currently listening to bossa nova while I get my work done. I loved the backyard this past spring and summer. Enjoyed fun dj sets and wine chats with a couple of friends. I tell everyone about it, I feel like family here. Drinks are always changing, and I love it. I love coffee because it makes me smile every time. The pastries are always fresh, and I don't have to stand in a crazy long line for them. The cocktails are exactly right and have great fusions! It's a favorite of mine in BHM.

I am so very glad that this restaurant came across something I was looking at recently. I popped on in on a Wednesday to see what I could see. I was pleased. Liver and onions will always put a smile on my face! I love a good meat and two cafeteria vibe. I had fried green tomatoes & turnips. Both sides were outstanding. Now what I did not like what that rice! Way too much butter but I do believe it was still on stand by from breakfast. I really appreciate the nice lady getting it for me so that's really why I didn't refuse it. The service was really nice and friendly by all the staff. I loved my food. I loved the sweet tea ( with lemons). And I looooved the cherry / pineapple cobbler I had to go. It's tastes like nothing I've ever had before. Fortunately they did and I got a good size portion of chick and dressing, cranberry sauce, creamed corn and mashed potatoes with brown gravy. I wish I could have gotten less starches but I'm grateful for the pick up nonetheless. What I'm curious about.., Why the use of tumeric in the chicken and dressing? I was born and raised in the Ham so I'm used to the way we normally do it. The look threw me off. It was as if yellow food coloring was used. The chicken was overdone as well. If not for these two, I would have given this a 5 star. But I can't get over the yellow.

Punch Love is doing just that. Whatever you order from a cortado to an iced flavored latte will be built on top notch espresso and therefore delicious. They never spun the iPad around for me to tip, I think it's built into the price. Respect. Get your workers what they deserve. They also have really cool merch. Colorful furniture, eclectic paintings, and musical instruments hanging on the walls give it a creative, artsy feel -- like they actually get used by a local band after hours.
