I usually have a great experience at this location. I've worked customer service all my life and I know how I like to be treated. Some of the employees are wonderful, very cheerful and happy to help. Wow. This is the worst experience that I have ever had at any Starbucks! I am new to the area and went in with no opinion. When I came out, 20+ minutes later, I was thinking...Is it just me thinking that this is the most unprofessional Starbucks ever??? After I checked the other Yelp reviews ,I realized that this place REALLY IS A PROBLEM, and does not deserve anyone's patronage! It is a walk-in with no drive-thru. I walked in and ordered a very simple drink. The woman who was in charge of the register (I am assuming, from other reviews, that she is probably the Franchise owner.), only acknowledged me after a few minutes, even though I was only the second person in line. When she did take my order, there was ONE hard working young guy doing EVERYTHING. The woman who took my order then just stood back and let everything else get way more behind than it already was. The worst part was...the totally OBNOXIOUS and LOUD woman who complained, very loudly, about every aspect of her job. She pointed out that 'someone' hadn't put a liner in the trash can (Gross, thanks for letting us all know about your sanitation problems!) She also kept talking about her personal life, and complaining about EVERYTHING-ON-EARTH! In her super loud voice. The one person there on his computer looked as disgusted as I felt with this very annoying and uncomfortable situation. I'm meeting someone at Starbucks in Beaumont and they are late--but listening to these women behind the counter is a true pleasure. They are pleasant to everyone, suggest product with such a pleasant tone that we all feel they are looking out for our best interests. I'm wondering how I can bring my employees up here to listen to them. If you have to sit and wait--getting a masterclass on customer service isn't a bad way to do it. I'm totally disappointed with the wait times on the mobile app. They say 3-7 minutes but it's really 20+ minutes. I asked the guy who was clearly busting his butt and really working, why can't you guys update the wait times so everyone wasn't piled up waiting on mobile orders? He said they can't change the times. Starbucks already has my money. There are only two people there. Am I really going to stand there and make him give me a refund during that crazy busy time? Let me start by saying I am a huge Starbucks fanatic, i live in Los Angeles and have 1 i frequent 3-4 times a day, yes im.addicted i admit it. With that said I have to admit, walking into this location i felt right at home. The vibe was friendly and welcoming. I was visiting a girlfriend who lives in Beaumont and she Knew i was a Starbucks fan so she pointed me towards this one. We were greeted by Cheri when we entered, if I didn't know better I'd swear she knew us the way she greeted us, hats how personable she was, we felt like we walked intoa.room.full.of old friends. I proceeded to ordered my drink, iced coffee, 5 pumps caramel, extra cream and shaken. She took my order and struck.up conversation as well. She quickly got our orders as she continued to make small.talk. some people have issues with shaking my coffee with the cream but she didn't bat an eye. Since my first visit I've returned to this Starbucks about 8 times, it's the only one I will go to when I visit. I was highly impressed that Cheri remembered my and my friends order after only 1 visit and continues to treat us like old friends when we walk in, even remembers our names AND our drinks, I'm impressed, you've got a good employee there. There's only been one visit in which she didn't help us and im.happy to say the girls working on my last visit were just as friendly. I'm not sure of the woman's name but the last visit was right when school.had let out, there was a table near the front door where alot of kids were gate red and blocking customers and making it hard for people to get around, one of the workers professionally and politely had them relocate outside, they were just loitering and taking up space and tripping people up because they were moving for anyone. WORST STARBUCKS EVER! My husband and I go to Starbucks just about every day and we only ever have a problem at THIS one. We mobile order a lot and from the time we order it takes at least 20 minute to get the order that is made wrong and they are not busy. The only staff member that reads the orders and goes out of his way to help you is Jonathan. Sadly this is the one closes to us and the only reason we go to this particular location. This is still the worst Starbucks I have been to! They can't read their own labels, I often order a drink with no ice and every time they put ice in it. And when I order an oatmeal they like to put next to no water in it, so I end up with dry oats. The baristas were the sweetest people and gave me amazing drinks and service but the manager was very rude and disrespectful to me and even worse, to her employees. I've heard her yelling at them and interrogating them in front of costumers before which was extremely unprofessional. Lately, I've seen her stand around rather than helping in the slightest while the store is packed which made the experience even longer and dreadful. I received amazing service! I was in such a bad mood before I came here and the barista stayed smiling and cheered me up. She asked what I would like and I said the strongest coffee something flavored. She recommended whatever it is I'm drinking now and aside from being strong (like I requested) it's amazing. The wait for your drinks here is ridiculous. At first I thought maybe it was a bad day but it seems to happen a lot here. I've come in to this location multiple times & every time it takes way to long to get your order, if you order multiple drinks it takes even longer. This is not the best place to go if you're in a hurry and don't have a phone to call in a mobile order in ahead of time! Plus the coffee brewers are a bit touchy. The last time I was in I had to wait over 20 minutes for a Latte! Each time I asked (two times) if my order had been overlooked I got a quick response it was up next. Not! I usually drive through Starbucks once in the morning on the way to work quite often so I have the gold card rewards. I came to this Starbucks to work on some assignments so I got an iced late then later asked for a coffee refill with my gold card. One of the employees argued with me that I wasn't allowed to do this since I got a different drink before and not the iced coffee. I showed him the terms and conditions on Starbucks website for gold card rewards that say you can get any kind of drink and get an iced coffee refill same visit. He gave me the refill, but then as I'm sitting there working he proceeds to say nasty things about me to another worker and even points over to me. I ordered a cold brew coffee and sat there for twenty minutes watching them fumble over all their drinks, either they were hot when supposed to be cold, supposed to be decaf, missing whip or plain just forgot about drinks. Fail! So I placed a mobile order, I waited for about ten minutes, since I did not see my order I went up to one of the baristas, told her my name and exactly what I ordered and to please do light ice on my drink. Batista said sure I'll will make sure they know. 20 minutes later (now its 30 minutes total waiting time) I decide to ask about my order... another barista tells me they don't have the ingredients for my drink so they never made it... I'm sorry, but you could have told me this 20 minutes ago when I provided the information. Granted they gave me a refund and I'm not looking for any compensation; however, I had an appointment I needed to get to that I was late for, and I could have saved time by them telling me. Service here is absolutely terrible. Bree was our barista and she messed up our order but she was nicer than the old Middle Eastern woman on the register. I didn't get her name but it did start with a K. She was an absolute bitch. They messed up our order, like I said, so we told her and she had a total attitude with us. She remade my girlfriends drink but forgot her sweetener and at that point we were so frustrated with her attitude that my girlfriend walked out. Then she remade my drink and was a bitchy when giving it to me. Then, my friend went in wanting a water and she said "Oh what, is something wrong with your order too?" Been to this store many times as it is on my way to work and I don't have another option. Today I decided to use the mobile ap to order ahead because otherwise it takes 10-15 minutes and the baristas aren't the most pleasant. The ap says my order will be ready in 4-6 minutes. I wait 5 when i get there to get my drink then I have to ask for my pastry over by the pastry display. The barista looks down, picks it up and says "you mean the mobile order" and hands it to me. I come here often (mother of 3 under 3 ;) and the soy chi lattes are amazing! Well one day I forgot my wallet (mom brain) came up to the window and explained I'll be right back have to drive home and grab my wallet. The lady was very kind and felt for me with 3 crying kids and let me know not to worry about it was on them. This is why I spend money at places like this. Customer service means more to me than anything and for that reason this mom will continue to be a customer of Starbucks. Janet refused to accept a $100 bill as payment for an order over $10. Super frustrating and very poor customer service on her part. Janet rudely refused because she did not have the change. I find it hard to believe that between all of the registers and the safe, that she was unable to accommodate me.
