GREAT SERVICE! I was literally in and out of the drive thru, I didn't have to wait too long even though this location was packed! I got my drink from the friendly worker at the window and made my leave. I got a tasty order of egg white bites and a cold brew. The cold brew had a little TOO MUCH ice, so I can't give this Starbucks five stars. As for ambiance, it's a smaller place and it seemed pretty mellow inside from what I can see through the window. I've given this specific store a try one too many times and they'll unfortunately NEVER change. They need to be trained on how to properly handle food and drinks. I had a really great experience today. The cashier named Frank was so kind but definitely had a great sense of humor. My drink was kinda awkward so he took the time to go and explain to the barista making it exactly how I wanted it. I definitely appreciate Starbucks in Banning (on Ramsey close to 22nd st ). I used to avoid this place ( dining inside ) as this facility was a " Haven for Hobos ". It would stink so bad of filthy feces covered Hobos, I would gag trying to swallow my drink. Recently they seem to have made the decision to enforce patrons to buy an item to stay inside. It seems to be working a bit but have still seen the skin scratching ghouls loitering inside once in awhile. I think a few of the employees are afraid to kick them out still. I visit a lot of Starbucks as a full-time nomad. In 2024 I visited 53 different locations in 48 cities (according to an email they sent me). I spend a lot of time in/near Banning and this Starbucks is the best. The food is pretty much a constant amount Starbucks, but the people make the difference here. Why is it when I order a Frappuccino at this location it always tastes watered down; very little flavor. Today, I did inform one of the workers and he re-made the Frappuccino for me (very nice of him) but it still tasted watered down. I have to say that there are many things I don't like about McDonalds but their Mocha Frappes are so much better than the Starbucks Frappuccinos. read more

As a former government manager who trained several clerks in my career, I know a lot about the retail enterprise. Consequently I visit a Starbucks in my town every day. I'm a regular customer there.. Everybody treats me, respectful, and professionally, however there's always an exception to every rule . There's an employee there that I've had a confrontation with more than one time and let me explain myself . First time I explain what I wanted in my drink with eloquence and coherence . I'm not a person that complains all I did was inform them that the drink wasn't made without one of the ingredients. So this person that took my order, accuse me of being argumentative, she even told me I was the one that was being a little perturbed when all I did was informed them that my drink wasn't made correctly. I did it politely without hostility that's the first incident with his individual at the Starbucks I go to. I was at the Starbucks today for the second time because I had to go home for an emergency . Moreover, when I came back, a clerk or barista behind the counter, rang me up for the full price of my drink, and I paid without complaining no problem. I always informed the individual that I had to leave and I'm expecting that they'll pay me full price versus just taking advantage and getting a free refill. I don't do that. I always let them know that I had to leave. Well, today after I paid full price, on the second visit with one of the retail barista clerks the lady that I had the confrontation with a prior day her name is Elizabeth informed me that I had to pay full price when I already did within 10 minutes before dealing with her. I paid full price. This barista lady did not give me the decency to explain myself that I came back after I already paid full price a few minutes prior. I'm fully aware that she thought I was literally taking advantage of her and what she did to me was the same thing she did to me the first time I had a confrontation with her She accuse me of being argumentative, and she was the one that was argumentative a little bit emotionally perturbed, and all I did was explain myself that I already paid for the drink when I came back to the facility. I don't understand what her problem is then I confronted another employee about this individual.. what I found out about this Elizabeth I was shocked. She was one of the managers there now why would the manager treat me with such hostile attitude accusing me of being argumentative the second time around consequently, I will not put up with that, that's why I'm posting this review which is not always the best thing to do, but I feel it's better to explain myself then stop going there to spend my money every day. I'm a regular customer there. So I feel it's best that people know to watch out for people behind the counter and even when they are managers they can treat you disrespectfully, by accusing me of being argumentative when, in fact, this young manager was the one that caused the argument. She was aggressive and assertive something. You don't see every day in a retail establishment. I was raised in the retail business when I was very young, so I know what I'm talking about. Stopped by this Starbucks location around 8:15pm. The girl at the drive thru was extremely nice. She took our order, gave us our total, and then met us at the window to take our payment and hand us our drink. There was only one other car on the drive thru lane besides us so service was super quick. We didn't go inside but the area around this location was clean. Our go-to drink was made well and it was delicious as always. The cold foam was thick and not super runny so I loved that! We asked for light ice and that's exactly what we got. Overall, this location was great! If we are ever in the area again, we'd definitely stop here again. read more

A nice stop for a cup of joe before you head off into LA traffic driving from the PS resort cities. The staff here is friendly and knowledgeable. I was going to call up my usual doppio (double espresso). The friendly barista suggested I order the Undertow. It's your choice of cool milk (skim, 2% or whole) and then three shots of espresso. Wow!! What a jolt. It's pretty amazing..similar to a macchiato, but not so foamy. The Undertow is also referred to as the Katy Perry (hot & cold). A bit dark outside when we drove up so we originally thought they were closed (at 600am). My golf group and I needed a quick coffee pit stop before our round at Tukwet Canyon (Beaumont) so we all dropped in. The employees were super festive with their red aprons on and super nice (even so early in the morning). It wasn't too packed so we received our coffee without any rush or delay (served up hot and yummy). The location itself looked like an old fast food establishment. Now I live over here and frequently visit this location. Today I ordered my usual, iced coffee no sweetener with almond milk. I was handed a very creamy looking drink so i sent it back. It's located right off the 10 freeway and there's a drive thru. I arrived before 6:00 am and they were already open. My order - bacon gouda cheese and egg frittata on a artisian roll with a Grande Cafe Latte. My sandwich was tasty and the Latte was hot - rich in flavor and so tasty. I don't know why the low ratings. I live in town and this is the only Starbucks that has great customer service and they make my coffee the way I like it. Never had a problem in this branch. Nice that they have the bathroom code located on the bathroom door. Two bathrooms available. Ordered coffee from a very personable cashier who asked us where we were traveling to. Very friendly. This is the only Starbucks in town, unfortunately!! The Saturday manager Jilma, is the worst, and I wanted a venti iced macchiato with an extra shot and I know for sure it doesn't fit in the venti cup, so I asked for the trenta cup, so she stated per Starbucks policy they can't do that. I have a question. Is this Starbucks using recycled or used cups? I'm noticing a trend, every time I come here whether I get a refresher, a cold tea or even water there is always coffee grains at the bottom inside the cup. The cups are also always stained. I have complained over six times and every time I'm told " Oh I'm so sorry about that, I will make sure it does not happen. I end up getting the same thing and wasting the dam drink after throwing it away. I came twice today once in the morning and asked for water along with my coffee and there is coffee grains in my water. Came about 5:20 and got two refreshers and again found coffee grains inside the drinks and the cup stained with old coffee? Like what the heck is going on? read more
