This hidden gem is one you must try. Everything is made on site and so far delicious. The cookies, croissants and lemon bar are the best we've had. Service is outstanding and extremely friendly. They sell out early so get there before 10 if you want to ensure they have what you're looking for. They are fast so if there is a line you wait in it. You won't regret it. This is a 5 star bakery

YUM!! I stopped in one Saturday on my way to work and picked up one of the jalapeño and cheese croissants and a ham and cheese croissant. So flakey and delicious!! They were fresh out of the oven and still warm. Definitely recommend!!

I picked up my grandson from school and thought instead of the doughnut shop, I would try a real bakery. Maybe I missed all the good choices. They had peanut butter cookies, that I've made better, and some cinnamon rolls. I picked a cinnamon roll. It was small, and dry, and it cost me $5.00 and some change. I should have went to a Dunkin doughnuts.

Love to stop in little mom and pop shops in little towns support the local businesses. This one is open till 2 but she only makes enough to sell so if you came later she might be sold out my favorite is chocolate chip cookies and she was already sold out.. so I had a chocolate croissant flaky buttery melts in your mouth then you get the chocolate inside need to stop by here. While I was there everyone said the lemon cake was good she only had one slice left. Service was great very nice conversation. No inside seating but a few table outside to enjoy some coffee and treat. Oh she make sandwiches which people ordered while we were waiting.

Coffee and coffee cake, blueberry muffin and SCONES were absolutely amazing and served with an attitude of appreciation for the business. A definite must for your coffee break

Moved to Cherry Valley 4 years ago. So HAPPY I found this hidden gem so close to home. All their pastries are AMAZING! We vacationed 2 weeks in Europe earlier this year and tried numerous pastries over there and let me tell you...Mel is an amazing chef! Her pastries are as good if not better than what I tried over seas! I no longer ask the hubby to stop at Porto's on his way home because of Two Ladds. I've been a Porto's customer since 1996 but in recent years...I've noticed the filling in their pastries has been lacking!

Big Ole cookies. On yout left is the infamous chocolate chip, the delicious oatmeal on the right! Delicious cookie!

When I asked for fresh lettuce, the young man poured (supposedly) fresh lettuce on top of the old brown lettuce and mixed it up. Way to go! Why throw away old lettuce, when you can toss fresh lettuce into the bin of old lettuce and mix it up with the fresh lettuce. Wheat bread was hard. I pushed through and I ate the middle half of the regular size sandwich but by the time I got to the heel half, of my regular size sandwich, it was simply inedible. When I asked for a replacement of just the top half heel portion of a regular size bread, I was told by the young man (after he consulted with a young women) he said he could not accommodate me because I already ate half of the sandwich. My request was to replace a piece of stale bread, the top piece of the heel side of a regular sandwich cut in half, a quarter of a regular size sandwich. I was there Tuesday, 4/14/26 at 6:35pm. Ticket # 01-001849-02-285596 Server: Janice. I do not remember the name of the young woman who snickered after I asked for fresh lettuce. Nice local sandwich shop that feels homey. The 'avogobble" sandwich is their trademark sub, (and…read moretruly tasty!) but I've enjoyed everything I've gotten here. And compared to a chain place like Subway, I feel like I get better value for my money, esp on the 12" subs. For vegetarians, just one note on the veggie sub: add cheese and ask for extra seasoning or it's a little bland. You could also add pepperoncinis if you like a little heat. They have fountain drinks, plus some bottled ones like Snapple. There'a a good variety of chips to get a little crunch alongside a bready sub. It's a classic combo for a reason, right? I do have to take one star off for the soup I ordered last time. It was touted as a delicious broccoli cheddar and there was " only one bowl left!" I was too trusting LOL. It was very watery and seemed to have been a soup mix microwaved and served in a thin plastic container. Sigh. And my hopes were so high. Oh well. I'll keep coming for the good deal on subs (they also have specials based on the day of the week) and the small family business feel.

I want to address something that happened during my order when I called to make an order. While I was ordering, I was told 'you're going to have to hurry up your order' and 'I have a customer in front of you.'" This was after I told her I'm just ordering two subs. I also had to repeat my order multiple times while it seemed like attention was elsewhere. I want to be clear--being rushed and spoken to that way is not appropriate or acceptable customer service. I expect to be treated with the same respect and attention as any other customer. I'm not trying to cause a problem, but I do this should be addressed or the business will continue to lose local customers.

The only reason it caught my eye was because our tax preparer was just down the street. It was obviously well loved by the locals after reading their great reviews and seeing a full parking lot. And this was on a Wednesday. We only had time for a quick bite, ordering nothing out of the ordinary. A quickie breakfast of sausage, scrambled eggs, and pancake, were all we had, but everything was nicely done. The pancake was big, light and airy, served with a carafe of warm syrup and a huge scoop of butter. The scrambled eggs were moist and fluffy, the sausage was basically a Farmer John sausage patty that was properly warmed but not overcooked, and very good tasting. My only criticism was the coffee being too thin for my liking, but keeping our coffee mugs filled was something they definitely did well! The service was wonderful. They knew we were in a rush, and handled us with TLC the entire 35 minutes we had. What I do know is, I will be looking forward to our next tax appointment, hah, knowing our morning will start off right here. Next time...chicken fried steak, or maybe a bowl of hearty homemade soup, y'all!

You get in line and pay twice, once for drinks and again for pastries. It's great to support local, independent businesses and hopefully the arrangement is working out well for both of them. There are small tables with stools to sit on around the side of the counter on the way to the gender-neutral restroom at the back of the shop. The tables are a bit small but it leaves a wide aisle and clearly communicates that the building is accessible for folks who use wheelchairs.
