Each coffee was brewed to order and customized to how you liked it. I'm lactose, so I was pleased to know she offered non-dairy alternatives. As my drink was being made I spoke with Jay, and found out she's recently just started her entrepreneur journey as a young small business owner. She informed me that she had booked a few private events that required her services. I was excited to see her glowing, and passionate about her future success. I told her I will be following her to keep updated on future pop-up events.

My wife had the green chilaquiles topped with birria, and the birria was packed with flavor and incredibly tender. Every bite was delicious. I had the red chilaquiles topped with chorizo, and honestly, they reminded me of the way my mom used to make them. That alone brought back some great memories. I also ordered a small bowl of menudo and... holy shit. This place is fire. To top it all off, it's a Blue Zones Project Approved restaurant, so you can tell they care about quality ingredients as much as great flavor. We'll definitely be back. Highly recommend!

To make matters worse, all of my friends received their meals first and were already halfway done eating before my incorrect order even arrived. After I pointed out the mistake, I had to wait even longer for the meal I originally ordered. What really surprised me was that there was no apology, no acknowledgment of the inconvenience, and I was still charged full price. There are a few tables and chairs scattered around, nice place to watch the crowds if you can snag one. The only change I'd make is have an extra person during busy times, and never just two, it's really too much for two to handle things there when things do pick up.
