This location is right off the 10 freeway in the city of Banning . Upon entry we were warmly greeted, which is always nice. We were seated promptly and order was taken. The serving sizes are large. The food is delicious. pancakes were buttery fluffy perfection ! The oatmeal was tasty had all the great sides like raisin brown sugar and cream. The waffle was gigantic topped with strawberries, whip whipped cream! So amazing grandma did a great job. We appreciate this establishment for the homemade food & love that is poured into this place daily ! A big thank you to Karen for my first experience here at grandma's country kitchen! I will be coming here every time I want to eat a delicious breakfast or even if I'm just in the mood for a brownie sundae!

Hours are different!! They open until 3pm on weekends. They were incredibly nice and friendly. We came in about 2:30 thinking placed closed at 4 but they welcomed us so nicely. They have a variety of things in the menu but we went for breakfast. It's all fresh. My omelet was amazing. She offered salsa and it's made fresh. Soooo good. Husband got country fried steak and you can't go wrong with it. Portions are amazing. We obviously had to get a cinnamon roll to go. Those things are giant and we cant wait to eat it!

The place gives you a county feel . The decor is like grandmas kitchen as the title states . Service - they sat us down right away yet forgot about coming over and it seemed to be a confusion as to who was covering our table . The server finally came and apologized for taking so long. Once they took the order and brought the food they just leave you alone and really didn't come back. I had to flag her down since I asked several people for our check Food- the food was good had chicken friend steak and country breakfast with biscuit and sauce . All around you come to this dinner for the food and I can say it was the highlight . Great food bad service so 3 stars it is .

We came on a Sunday at peak brunch time, and were seated immediately. Everything was so fast and efficient, as we were given our table, had our orders taken, and also received our meals in about 15-20 minutes! The veggie eggs benedict was perfect, with the option to choose how you want the poached eggs (they said standard is medium, I asked for extra runny) Their hash browns were the best I've ever had: so crispy but not burnt. And they give half of an avocado, which is very generous compared to other places that barely give any. The bacon cheeseburger came deconstructed, which was fun to add the vegetables in. My bf said it was really good! It was also very filling, as he only finished half before needing a takeout container. The burger comes with a choice of sides, my bf got the seasoned fries which were "crispy and delicious" in his words Everyone in the staff was friendly! From the host to the waiters to the cashier Alice was our waitress and she was so wonderful! She was extremely helpful telling us of the daily specials that were not on the menu, offering to give us a drink refill to take to-go, and I also overheard her give another table extra hash browns for free because their plate looked a little lacking. She was sweet and bubbly, even complimenting me~ The interior is gorgeous! It feels like you're inside a home with curtain decorations, posters, shelves full of utensils and souvenirs! We'll definitely be returning :)

Down home country diner. Lots of pies. Cinnamon rolls. All house made. Country music playing. Stereo typical waitresses. Loads of regulars. Full house. This was good.

When you are thinkin' country cookin', think about Gramma's Country Kitchen. Perfectly authentic, deliciously fresh and exactly what you are lookin' for. Every choice of meat for breakfast Cinnamon rolls to die for Pancakes, waffles and French toast Grits, cream of wheat and oatmeal Personable, friendly and efficient service The atmosphere fits the expectations of a country kitchen, comfy and cozy. The smell when you walk in is simply the most excellent aroma of food that you want to smell in a restaurant. Belgian Waffle with boysenberry syrup and butter so so delicious. My husband says oh wow perfectly cooked meat, eggs and potatoes. Top quality sour dough bread and get this homemade green and red salsas. I could go on and on, but if you find yourself in or near Banning, CA you have to stop, it is well worth it.

Was feeling healthy so I tried the low cal plate. More food than I expected and delicious too, especially with some Cholula. Very filling. Staff were friendly, service was fast, and I loved the country ambiance.

Disgusting is the only word I can think of to describe this place. Food was horrible and the place is just plain nasty.

If you're traveling through Banning or just passing by on your way to Morongo, do yourself a favor…read moreand skip the chain restaurants--Lindo's Diner is a hidden gem that's absolutely worth the stop. My wife and I were looking for a great breakfast, and from the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with genuine hospitality by our host, Christian. He was friendly, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable about the restaurant. As we talked, he shared that Lindo's is a family-owned establishment where everyone works together to make the business successful. You can truly see the pride they take in what they do, it's like watching a well-oiled machine. The menu made it difficult to decide because everything looked so good, but we eventually settled on our favorites. My wife ordered the chilaquiles with over-easy eggs and a regular coffee with creamer. I went with a medium-rare steak, extra crispy hash browns, a side of bacon, sourdough toast, and a Mexican Coke. Every item was cooked exactly as requested, served fresh, and arrived quickly. The presentation showed care, and you could tell the kitchen pays attention to every plate that leaves the window. Before placing my order, I asked Christian if I could sample the menudo. I've had menudo all over California, and I'm pretty particular about it. Without hesitation, he brought me a small bowl. It was everything I look for--clean broth, piping hot, fresh, and packed with flavor. It even had a nice spicy kick that I absolutely loved. It was so good that I promised Christian and his tía, who prepares it fresh every day and serves it seven days a week, that I'd come back the next morning to buy some. A promise made is a promise kept. The very next day, I returned and picked up a few cups of the menudo to enjoy back at my hotel, which was only about a half-mile away. If you check out my photos, you'll even see me enjoying it in my room. It was just as incredible the second time around. Experiences like this are exactly why I love supporting small, family-owned businesses. Great food is one thing, but genuine hospitality and people who truly care about their customers make all the difference. If you enjoy authentic Mexican food, I highly recommend Lindo's Diner. Take a few minutes to look through the menu because there are so many great options to choose from. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in the area. 5 stars all the way.
