I could copy and paste one of my previous reviews for the Krzy Egg House. Food is very good, probably the best I've had in the Banning/Beaumont area. My Machaca omelette was delicious - plentiful with just the right amount of ranchero sauce. But, just having 3 servers take care of the entire front of the house really affects the customer experience. If they would just add one hostess/cashier/busser, the restaurant would run so much smoother. Another plus is this restaurant is one of the very few I've been to lately that doesn't add a credit card fee. read more

The first time we ate here it was so so. Out of convenience we came back and our second experience with the food was much better! Perhaps a different cook? Our server was very nice and we enjoyed the two egg entree which came with hash browns or potatoes and your choice of: gravy and biscuits, toast, or a pancake. In my opinion the pancake is mediocre. Pancakes shouldn't be rubbery where you have to saw the bottom of it with a knife. Other than that it was a pleasant breakfast experience. Food was great. I got the Fruit Lovers French Toast with whipped cream on top. The strawberries and blueberries were delicious. Also got the scrambled eggs and 2 sausages. I didn't finish one sausage because I was full already. The restaurant wasn't too busy on a random Tuesday morning. My waitress was awesome, she gave me water with hot chocolate when I didn't ask for the water, so she gets kudos. Wonder what it's like on a weekend. I love the cute homey vibe. Since it changed from Patsy's, this place went all the way downhill. They raised all the prices and the food is nowhere near as good. Why when people take over for previous owners they try to make changes when there is no need for change I will never know? Raising prices and decreasing the quality of food is not a recipe for success. Perhaps they were only trying to cater to the elderly that live in Sun lakes and are already retired with a healthy dose of cash coming in monthly. The rest of the communities around here are not financially fit to be gouged for breakfast. Here's a breakdown eggs cost about $0.10 a piece potatoes about $0.30 and toast about $0.30 a little bit of bacon. Let's call it. $0.50 and a cup of coffee $0.20 how the hell does all of this add up to more than $20 on the menu? I hope! Karma comes sooner rather than later. read more

Returning for breakfast the place was packed two ahead of me waiting time approximately 10mins. Went to the bathroom while my wife waited. I was expecting that awful sewer grease pit smell to my surprise it was gone. I asked the waitress if they fixed the smell issue and she said yes. After a busy week at work, hubby treated me to breakfast Saturday morning. I was as hungry as a lumberjack. Ordered a breakfast of scrambled eggs, sausages, and pancakes. Everything was delicious. The pancakes were light and fluffy, the scrambled eggs were cooked just right, neither runny nor overdone. You could tell the sausage had been grilled. A never ending cup of coffee was great. Service was very attentive. The decor was cozy, farmhouse, and the restaurant was very clean. Looking forward to returning and trying one of their many omelette selections. Two of us spent $50 on breakfast. The waitress was wonderful. The food was horrible. The biscuits and gravy - gravy was just flour and water. They replaced it with sourdough toast that was burnt. The home fry potatoes had nothing in them but potatoes - bland. The omelet was flat and had almost no cheese in it. Note: The place was almost empty, so the cook was not rushed. A tiny but over priced but excellent customer service. Biscuits and gravy were not good at all. Texture and flavor were bad. However the croissant bacon and eggs made sandwich made up for it. Pecan pancakes were bland ands need either sugar or cinnamon and butter for flavor. Big portions and great customer service once again so we'll come back and try something different. This place has gone from solid to just okay since the new owners took it over. Service is still great when you dine in, but the food has changed a bit with the new cooks or who they order from.
