Cute little spot. Love the staff. Been coming here since I was a child. Moved away for 12 years. Came home to visit family and had to make my usual stop for food here. The owner has always treated me and my family well. Never has forgotten me even after many years away. The food is delicious. I love the carne asada burritos. The meat is a perfect thin slice. We were shopping at Desert Premium Outlets and wanted to stop for lunch afterward. I did a search on Yelp and found Ramsey Burger. It had a 4.4 star rating so we thought we'd give it a try. As other reviews said, it's not a fancy place. A bit of a dive, even, but we totally enjoyed our burgers and fries. And it did have an A-rating in the window. My burger was dressed with lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, and my favorite: thousand island. The fries were crinkle cut and plentiful. I ordered the special for $10.45 and it came with a 16oz fountain drink. (The drinks looked more 12 oz, but can't say for sure. Refills were $.25.) The place is small with 3 booths and some seats at the counter. We got there about 2pm so didn't have a problem getting a table. The people who work there were very nice and welcoming. Besides burgers, there was also Mexican food on the menu. Please note that it's a cash only restaurant. We'd definitely go back when in the area.

One of my favorite burger spots is this hidden gem located off Ramsey, next to a golf cart store and a Chinese restaurant. This tiny restaurant, which can probably fit a maximum of 16 people, serves some of the best burgers and chili fries in the IE area. Honestly, if this place were to go head-to-head against In-N-Out, they would crush the fast food chain in both burgers and fries. I absolutely love how simple yet flavorful their burgers are. Every time I crave chili cheese fries, this is the first place that comes to mind. Their chili has the perfect amount of beans and meat, and they add the perfect layer of cheese on top. Everything is made to order and always worth the wait. The staff is always kind, and they pack our orders into boxes they cut up to fit everything. While I kind of don't want to share this place since it's my personal favorite, I also have to recommend this small business because they are fantastic at what they do. Just a heads up, they are a cash-only establishment, but they do have an ATM in the shop if you forget.

I just found out about this place last year, and I grew up in the area! I can't believe I went so long without trying it, but I'm glad I finally did. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and consistently amazing. Definitely worth stopping by if you're in the area. It's a small family-owned spot with a really welcoming feel. Just a heads up -- it's CASH ONLY, but they do have an ATM inside. My go-to order is the fajita burrito. It can get pretty spicy, so be careful and it also comes out HOT so blow on it or let it cool before you burn your tongue. I usually have them cut it in half and add the green sauce with a little ranch, which makes it even better. Their zucchini is also one of my favorites -- fresh, crispy, and cut into smaller fry-sized pieces instead of the huge chunks most places serve. My daughter loves the steak sandwich. It's simple, but everything is always fresh -- thinly sliced meat, fresh veggies, and soft bread. I'm not usually a burger person myself, but nobody in my family has ever complained about the burgers either! read more

We searched for a good burger place on our way home to AZ and after reading the reviews we had to check this place out. It's a dive for sure but the staff is welcoming and kind. Our burgers, fries and hand battered onion rings were fantastic. We also got the asada tacos which were phenomenal!! We were lucky to sit up at the counter and got to watch them make everything. Don't let the outside fool you, this place is amazing! read more

I live in Banning so I do try to go to the mom and pop shops as I try to help small businesses. This is my first time at Ramsey Burger, I tried the fish and chips. I'm not that into french fries so I asked them to substitute with onion rings, which they gladly did. The fish, a big no for me. Tiny frozen fish that had no meat in them at all but the onion rings were excellent (I like mine well done). The service was excellent, very accommodating and very nice to speak with. The space was very nice. It was clean and small. Everything is frozen fries, fish, absolutely everything. Remember if you come here, it's cash only. read more

Thanks to Monica, I tried the fajita burrito and it was to die for! One of the best burritos I've had in a long time! My hubby had a hamburger meal and a quesadilla. Deducting one star because he wasn't a fan of the quesadilla, apparently it is potentially made with American cheese slices, unless that was a one-off thing, but unlike the quesadillas we are used to full of stringy cheese. Just started to like this place after finding out about it but the customer service was actually terrible today . Was not greeted when I walked in and they left me at the counter . I had a phone order so i didn't make a big deal . Upon arrival my order was literally SITTING out in the open while they are making other orders . No bag , nothing covering it . I sat and waited for them to make the rest of my food that they said would be ready in 15mins . As I'm sitting at the counter , I watch the cook open a brand new box and the box lands right on my burger . I tell the guy that I don't want the burger anymore because I just watched the box land on it and it's been sitting open the whole time I've been at the counter. They spoke amongst each other in Spanish and the RUDE woman told him basically I can have my money back because she's not making it . Extremely distasteful considering I just watched a box land on my burger that's just been sitting there . Won't be coming here anymore . Left with no food after waiting and I'm assuming the burger is still there . Thank you for the bad experience. read more

Have to give them 5 stars. Stopped by the other day to grab dinner for the family and I have to say food was great. Burgers and chili cheese fries and zucchini were all flavorful and fresh. Customer service was top notch from entering the restaurant and exiting with my order service was excellent. All the employees were very attentive with every single customer that came into the restaurant. Inside was very clean and organized and well maintained. I will definitely be coming back again in the future. It is cash only but they do have atm machine inside incase you need to get cash. read more

I walked in with no expectations, but left extremely satisfied with both my order and the service. It's an "older" place, but don't let that fool you. I opted for the steak sandwich, which was great. The lettuce and tomatoes were incredibly fresh, and the steak was perfectly seasoned. It was remarkable to see that everyone who entered seemed to know someone either dining or working there. It's clear they have a very loyal customer base. The prices are fantastic, especially given the generous portions and high quality of the food. I just ordered a double cheese burger and fries combo. I can't remember the last time I had a really delicious burger. I got mayo on my burger, I don't think it would make a difference because my girl got it with house dressing. Thank you Ramsey burger for making a GREAT BURGER!!! read more

My wife and I really enjoy this hidden gem on Ramsey, across the street from Carl's Jr. It's a hole-in-the-wall dive, but it makes the best cheeseburgers anywhere around. We stop here every time we drive through Banning. read more

I have been going here for years because this is THE go to place for fried zucchini! The ladies here are nice and friendly! Also try a fajita burrito (not quite on the menu but just ask) and get it medium for a real nice kick... real nice. Just remember cash only! read more

This was a GOOD burger! Such a simple meal, but so so good. I've driven by this place so many times and finally decided to stop. It's very small inside, but I was able to get a table. I forgot to take picture of food but it was sooo good. I would recommend to anyone driving past or living local to come eat at this hidden gem. I ordered the double cheese burger, zucchini, and my wife ordered the hamburger special with fries. The price was no I $24 and change. We ordered over phone. Service was fast only 10min. Everything was still hot when I picked up. The restaurants ambiance has a small diner feel but everything was clean and well maintained. Please show your support to this local business I plan on going back and bringing others to enjoy the food. read more

It brought back so many wonderful memories for both of us. My wife ordered a steak with a loaded baked potato, and I couldn't wait to dive into the unlimited salad bar. I was excited to enjoy the chicken wings, build my own tacos, grab some chips and salsa, and make a fresh salad. Everything was incredibly fresh and well-stocked. As we talked, he shared that Lindo's is a family-owned establishment where everyone works together to make the business successful. You can truly see the pride they take in what they do, it's like watching a well-oiled machine. My wife ordered the chilaquiles with over-easy eggs and a regular coffee with creamer. I went with a medium-rare steak, extra crispy hash browns, a side of bacon, sourdough toast, and a Mexican Coke. Every item was cooked exactly as requested, served fresh, and arrived quickly. The presentation showed care, and you could tell the kitchen pays attention to every plate that leaves the window. Before placing my order, I asked Christian if I could sample the menudo. I've had menudo all over California, and I'm pretty particular about it. Without hesitation, he brought me a small bowl. It was everything I look for--clean broth, piping hot, fresh, and packed with flavor. It even had a nice spicy kick that I absolutely loved. It was so good that I promised Christian and his tía, who prepares it fresh every day and serves it seven days a week, that I'd come back the next morning to buy some. A promise made is a promise kept. The very next day, I returned and picked up a few cups of the menudo to enjoy back at my hotel, which was only about a half-mile away. If you check out my photos, you'll even see me enjoying it in my room. It was just as incredible the second time around. Experiences like this are exactly why I love supporting small, family-owned businesses. Great food is one thing, but genuine hospitality and people who truly care about their customers make all the difference. If you enjoy authentic Mexican food, I highly recommend Lindo's Diner.
