Storage area half the area Michelada was amazing

The food is great. The service is great. The beer was cold. The guacamole pork belly appetizer was absolutely amazing. I would definitely return again, but it looks a little crammed a little small like if they're holding a storage space in the back I can definitely see a lot of foot traffic coming in but the storage space seems to limit them. I wanted to bring in a bigger party but now I can't because it just looks too cramped in there, but overall it was amazing. It looks like a new owner too cause the plates are diff and have these nice mugs, it's way better than before especially having new operating hours ! My son and his wife brought us into Tacos and Beer in Belmont and... wow. Just wow. The customer service here deserves its own award. Everyone was beyond friendly and made us feel right at home -- plus, there's tons of seating, so no awkward waiting around with your hanger setting in. They start you off with chips, salsa, and a side of beans that I swear must have some kind of secret magic in them. I'm seriously tempted to beg for the recipe. We got the fajitas and a torta, and holy guacamole -- that torta was HUGE. Like, "can't-fit-in-your-mouth" huge. The fajitas were sizzling perfection and easily enough for two people (but don't expect to share once you taste them ). Even though it's about an hour drive for us, we'll 100% be making the trip again. Totally worth it. If you love amazing food, great vibes, and a place that actually treats you like family, this is the spot. Let's just say... these tacos are worth talking about.

Tacos and Beer catering is truly the best and cannot be beat! Food was amazing, on time for our wedding guests, and presentation was beautiful! 10/10

    Fries

The food was super old, salty, and greasy. We got the torta with fries and the chilaquilles, both with chicken. The chicken was super tough to chew and was also dry. The chillaquiles had a puddle of oil under and was also super salty. The fries that came with the torta were definitely old, as half of them were burnt and almost translucent from the oil. It's overpriced for what it is. Don't recommend.

HUGE portions and good flavors! I was honestly amazed at how big the portions were, definitely come hungry!! The food overall was tasty. The burrito was good, but the tacos really stood out, super flavorful and satisfying. The real highlight for me? The cucumber lime agua fresca. Gosh, I could've had four of those. So refreshing! Chips and salsa were also great the chips were warm and fresh. Service was great, they were kind and quick. Location is clean!! We'll definitely be back!

Came here with co-workers. We got sat right away at lunch time. Once ordered the food came out fairly quickly and was cooked well. I will say some of the music was kind of loud but not over bearing. I will definitely be back when I can for tacos!

Their slogan "Let's TACO about it" totally caught my eye and got me to pull right into the parking lot and I'm so glad I did, because it only got better from there! The moment we walked in, the vibe was cool and so welcoming. Then I saw the menu and instantly felt like I was back in Mexico. We were off to an amazing start! I ordered 3 fish tacos Baja style (because obviously), and my husband got the 3 shrimp taquito plate. When the food arrived, it looked even better than the pictures: like, stop-scrolling-worthy. My mouth was watering before the first bite, and it did not disappoint. Fresh, flavorful, and absolutely DELICIOUS. My husband barely said two words... because he was too busy smiling and devouring his plate. That's how you know it's legit. But the cherry on top? The staff. From ordering to the sweet gentleman who brought out our food, everyone was so friendly and kind, it really made the whole experience that much better because you rarely see good customer service anymore. So if you're in the area, do yourself a favor and stop by. Treat your taste buds to some real, authentic Mexican food. Trust me, you'll be taco-ing about it for days.

We picked up the relleno baked potato, mini chimichangas and the shrimp with garlic. The food has always been really good here. Today, the shrimp on top of the rice was very greasy or buttery so we tossed a lot of it out. The potato was good. The chimichangas had good flavor. We have been coming here since 2020 I believe or around there. When we have dined in they always give chips and beans to dip. Even on to go order they give a tiny bag of chips with the beans and salsa. Today I asked for that tiny bag and she said they charge for it. I asked if that changed and she said no. She wasn't willing to explain further and she was kind of rude. I have probably dined in or picked up to go at least 15 times. This is the first time there wasn't any salsa, chips and beans. The place is always clean when you walk in and decorated nicely.

Tacos and Beer is a great local spot. The food is authentic and has a great taste. Aguas frescas taste authentic as well. The service was phenomenal we felt taken care of. One thing that was important to me is that I can tolerate spicy food but my significant other cannot and we were asked what kind of sauce we wanted in our Molcajete. That was a plus, we got the mild sauce. Here I added a picture of the molcajete with rice and beans.

I came here for the first time after a stressful few weeks, and I absolutely loved the…read moreexclusiveness and hidden-away feeling this place offers. For most of the night, I had a great time minding my own business, watching videos quietly on my phone in a corner of the bar. As I was getting ready to leave, a random guy sitting nearby asked me to lower the volume on my phone. Whether he intended to be polite or not, it felt condescending, territorial, and completely unnecessary. They were speaking louder than my phone, yet somehow my phone was the issue. It honestly felt like a case of "local syndrome," where someone felt empowered to tell me what to do in a place that isn't theirs. I didn't want to create a scene, so I generously tipped the bartender and left. But I was genuinely upset that I was told to be quiet while I was simply minding my own business in a corner. The place itself does not deserve a bad review because of the actions of one customer. However, if this person is in any way connected to management or staff, I would seriously reconsider my rating and change it to one star--something I never done before. I think a little more compassion and understanding toward fellow customers would go a long way.

Hey Brian, I wanted…read moreto reach out about something that happened tonight that I feel you should know about. I also want to be clear that all of this transpired after you had already left for the evening. For context, I'm a regular at the bar and have been coming in for quite a while. I've never had a major issue with Brent or Steven, even though they both have personalities that can come across as sarcastic or abrasive. I've generally let it go because my reason for coming to the bar is simple: I come in to have a few beers, relax, and enjoy myself. Tonight, while I was still drinking one of my beers and had some left in the glass, Brent came by and took it away as if I was finished. I jokingly said something along the lines of, "I guess you're not going to let me finish the last bit." I wasn't upset and wasn't trying to start an argument. It was an obvious mistake that could have been solved with a simple apology. Instead, he responded with a snarky comment rather than acknowledging the mistake. Later, he brought another beer to my table. I made eye contact with him and before I could even say anything, he asked, "Do you want to say something to me?" I replied, "No, I just wanted to say thank you." His response was, "Your eyes are telling me differently." Again, I found that unnecessarily confrontational and disrespectful. At that point, I decided to leave a $0 tip. I normally tip very well, often around 30% or more, and this was the first time I've intentionally left no tip because I wanted to send a message that I was unhappy with the way I was being treated. After that, Steven came over and confronted me about leaving no tip. He asked if I was really zeroing it out and questioned me about whether something had happened between me and Brent. I told him that whatever issue I had was not his concern, and he responded, "Fair enough." I assumed that would be the end of it. Instead, Brent came outside and confronted me. He told me Steven had said I had a problem with him. I explained that I didn't have a personal problem with him; my issue was his attitude and the way he was treating me as a customer. Rather than listening, he became increasingly hostile. I reminded him that I'm a customer and that I'm only there to buy beer from the business. I'm not there to deal with sarcasm, attitude, or an employee's emotions. As a paying customer, the minimum I expect is basic respect. I shouldn't have to walk on eggshells or accept being spoken to disrespectfully while simply trying to enjoy a beer. That confrontation ended poorly and he went back inside. A short time later, he came back out and confronted me again, this time in front of other customers. The situation became even more uncomfortable because it was happening publicly. During that exchange, he ultimately told me that I was not welcome back. Again, I reminded him that I am a paying customer whose only purpose in being there is to support the business and enjoy a beer. I should not be getting into arguments with employees, being confronted in front of other patrons, or being told I'm not welcome because I expressed concerns about how I was being treated. The bigger issue is that, in my opinion, this isn't just about tonight. This has been months in the making. I've noticed a pattern with both Brent and Steven where they seem to have become comfortable treating customers with attitude and sarcasm in ways that shouldn't be acceptable in a customer-facing role. I've overlooked it many times because I enjoy the bar and didn't think it was worth making an issue out of. On the other hand, employees like Kim, Josh, and David have always treated me and other customers with professionalism and respect. They know how to joke around while still making customers feel welcome. I've never had an issue with them. From my perspective, the problem is specifically Brent and, to a lesser extent, Steven. Brent especially has developed a demeanor that I find unwelcoming, confrontational, and disrespectful toward customers. I don't think I'm the only person who feels this way. Tonight was simply the point where it crossed a line. I'm not sending this because I want anyone fired or punished. I simply think you should know what happened, especially since it all occurred after you had left. I've spent a lot of time and money at your establishment over the years, and I would hope that customers--especially regulars--can expect basic courtesy and respect from the people serving them. I wanted to give you my side of the story directly. Thanks for taking the time to read this.
