My husband and I tried a couple of their sandwiches over the weekend. We ordered the Turkey Club with avocado and the Asian Sandwich. Both were proportioned well and decently priced. The Turkey club was with all the fixings was pretty good, but my personal favorite was the Asian Sandwich. It had good flavor and sweet pickled cucumber and carrots made it even better. It's a family-owned sandwich shop located on a small corner lot; has a few chairs inside, but it's mainly a pick up and go establishment, which is fine by me. The owners Ben and Diana are very kind and sweet. They opened it about 24 years ago, which to me says a lot about them and their sandwiches. Not to mention, they just seem like good people and their love for the community. Thank you Ben and Diana. We loved our sandwiches and will definitely be coming back for more. What a great couple serving amazing food. It really feels like your aunt and uncle are in the kitchen making something with love, and that's what makes this place special. No surprise they have 5 stars -- the service and the genuinely kind people behind the counter make all the difference. I got the banh mi-style chicken sub and it was $15.95 but literally the size of my forearm -- like, if I got jumped in the parking lot, this thing could double as a weapon. Bread was perfect: crackly outside, soft inside, zero sog. The pickled carrots, cilantro, cucumber, and seasoned chicken actually tasted fresh, not like someone pulled it from a bucket in the back. It hits that crunchy-herby-savory combo that makes you stop mid-chew and go, "Oh damn... okay." Portions are insane, ingredients are legit, and yeah -- I'd drive back for it. I don't know if they can improve. I don't know the rate of a sandwich or something but for 3 foot long sandwiches on a skinny baguette type bread,not even a good roll. Lunch meat, seemed like regular ham, turkey and roast beef the lettuce I had to take off. They used old olives, the skin was wrinkley. Graded cheese, tomato and purple onion. I ordered a meatball sub and it was barely warm, the cheese was not melted, and it ultimately gave me an ick factor. The sandwich bread was semi-cheap, Subway is vastly superior to this place in every way. I could honestly get better bread at the local grocery store.
