As we talked, he shared that Lindo's is a family-owned establishment where everyone works together to make the business successful. My wife ordered the chilaquiles with over-easy eggs and a regular coffee with creamer. I went with a medium-rare steak, extra crispy hash browns, a side of bacon, sourdough toast, and a Mexican Coke. Every item was cooked exactly as requested, served fresh, and arrived quickly. The presentation showed care, and you could tell the kitchen pays attention to every plate that leaves the window. Before placing my order, I asked Christian if I could sample the menudo. I've had menudo all over California, and I'm pretty particular about it. Without hesitation, he brought me a small bowl. It was everything I look for--clean broth, piping hot, fresh, and packed with flavor. It even had a nice spicy kick that I absolutely loved. It was so good that I promised Christian and his tía, who prepares it fresh every day and serves it seven days a week, that I'd come back the next morning to buy some. A promise made is a promise kept. The very next day, I returned and picked up a few cups of the menudo to enjoy back at my hotel, which was only about a half-mile away. If you check out my photos, you'll even see me enjoying it in my room. It was just as incredible the second time around. Experiences like this are exactly why I love supporting small, family-owned businesses. Great food is one thing, but genuine hospitality and people who truly care about their customers make all the difference. If you enjoy authentic Mexican food, I highly recommend Lindo's Diner. I'm not even hungry as I write this review, but man I couldn't help myself from buying one. You just can't pass up a Hadley Date Shake. So rich and tasty. I was on my way to Phoenix, for a weekend trip and ........Wow. What a hole in wall. When I came up I knew this was gonna be a winner. Two black and whites parked outside. Cops eat out a lot and they get picky. We tried the pastrami, Asian sandwich and a BBQ beef sandwich. They are all my favorites. When we jumped back on the Road, My son told me in that stopping at little places like this is the whole point in traveling. Lmao. He is 13. When we got to Phoenix 5 hours later, he told me we need to stop at super subs on our way home. The owner was so friendly and hospitable. She had me laughing as we chatted. Her husband was fantastic also. Both of them are so kind and generous. I wish they would move closer to me. This was my first time at Super Subs and it will not be my last, when you first walk in it's very small location but do not let that fool you, the customer service was the best the couple working were so friendly and welcoming to my friend and I and I felt positive energy in the air. Now the food... the food was so amazing it put me in a state of euphoria when i took my first bite. I ordered the cubano and the Asian sub for my friend and I I was excited because he wouldn't stop raving about this place and with reason the food was so good I HAD to go back and order another sub because it was that immaculate.
