I have enjoyed and followed Nektar from day one in Redlands! I now live in Yucaipa .. first of all I never leave negative reviews unless they are completely warranted. I am much more of a supporter of businesses and leading positive reviews. But the girl that took my order this morning Brittany was so cold and pompous and almost like a holier than thou mentality super rude trying to make me feel like I don't know what I'm doing here or how to order. No smile or welcome to me or any other customers. It was not accommodating terrible customer service super bummed about it. I know this is not the fault of Nektar as they are amazing and I've met the owners in the past. This is only truly a customer service complaint... their food and drinks are phenomenal but as another business owner, I was just shook at the rude know it all demeanor very shocking. read more

Ordered online went to pick it up on time when I got there my order was just sitting there on the counter i grabbed my order. I paid extra for additional toppings. I ended up paying 16+ for my banana berry bowl. When I got to start eating my bowl it was very watery not bowl like thick substance. I also noticed there was no extra granola that I paid for on the side or even on my bowl as well as they didn't put the original toppings on the bowl. They put on only the additional toppings I had paid for. Very disappointed with this experience.then when I tried to call them to let them know about service they didn't answer the phones. It's very sad this business definitely could do better. read more

Today my daughter and I stopped into Nekter after the gym. There was only one employee working, and…read moreI understand being short staffed can be stressful and overwhelming. What was disappointing wasn't the wait but the complete lack of acknowledgment. We walked in, stood at the register for several minutes, and there was no greeting, no eye contact, no "I'll be right with you," nothing. The employee continued making orders while two other customers sat waiting. Customer service doesn't require stopping everything but sometimes all it takes is a quick "Hi, I'll be with you shortly" so people know they've been seen. That small interaction makes a huge difference especially to small businesses in smaller cities like this one. It feels like basic customer service and multitasking skills are becoming less common. Maybe businesses are understaffed, maybe training has changed and they just need a body at the register (anybody). I don't know what the issue is but being acknowledged goes a long way. Eventually, we left and went across the street to Juice It Up, where we had no issues, someone said hello as soon as we walked in and they were actually very busy. They took our order within 1-2 minutes. This is the type of experience that makes the difference between a repeat customer and a potential customer who will never return. Hopefully this is something management can improve because the product may be good, but the customer experience matters too or should if you care about revenue and keeping your doors open.

FYI- Now they have a sign up for a free shot with a good yelp review, The last three times I have come in for order the wait was incredibly long and they were out of almost everything. Including toilet paper in the bathroom (which the girl commented they had no more in the store). I was in this week and while I was able to adjust the order for my kiddo, unfortunately my smoothie didn't have the ingredients to make it :(. I got a drink this morning from Hannah and Tori and it was amazing. They are always consistent with my order and it's ready when I come in. I will be coming back to this location NOT the Redlands. What was disappointing wasn't the wait but the complete lack of acknowledgment. We walked in, stood at the register for several minutes, and there was no greeting, no eye contact, no "I'll be right with you," nothing. The employee continued making orders while two other customers sat waiting. Customer service doesn't require stopping everything but sometimes all it takes is a quick "Hi, I'll be with you shortly" so people know they've been seen. That small interaction makes a huge difference especially to small businesses in smaller cities like this one. It feels like basic customer service and multitasking skills are becoming less common. Maybe businesses are understaffed, maybe training has changed and they just need a body at the register (anybody). I don't know what the issue is but being acknowledged goes a long way. Eventually, we left and went across the street to Juice It Up, where we had no issues, someone said hello as soon as we walked in and they were actually very busy. They took our order within 1-2 minutes. This is the type of experience that makes the difference between a repeat customer and a potential customer who will never return. Hopefully this is something management can improve because the product may be good, but the customer experience matters too or should if you care about revenue and keeping your doors open.
