I walked in and there was one person ahead of me. There were about 3-4 people in the back to help guests. They stared at me for a moment then went back to whatever they were doing until another person showed up to help. I ordered a drink that was supposed to have ginger in it and there was absolutely none. At that point, I waited so long to be helped and to get a drink that wasn't anything special, that I just left. They also don't use fresh juiced orange juice, but rather whatever from a bottle as I heard the person in the back say "just make the rest orange juice" and the person proceeded to dump in half the cup of orange juice. read more

I go to Juice It Up! several times a week. Raylynn is the person who typically helps me and she is great! She is kind and helpful and always starts my morning off with a smile. I appreciate the service she provides and the quality of my order. In fact, all of the staff are very friendly and helpful. I have several food allergies and can only have a couple of things on the menu so my order being correct is really important and my Acai smoothie is always perfect. I wish I could give this place more than 3 stars! The smoothies are always super yummy! I haven't been feeling well (may or may not have the stomach flu), but smoothies have been my only solace. I can't remember the name of one of the smoothies I got, but it was like a piña-colada and the other smoothie was a mango one. Both smoothies were super, super yummy and they made them super quick! The reason I'm giving 3 stars is because the employees were a bit rude. No smiles at all - the vibe I got from them was.. they hate their job. I've been to this juice it up spot so many times, but today made me change my mind. I ordered a smoothie bowl from here and got this broken piece of plastic in it at the bottom of the bowl. I have been a frequent visitor to this Juice It Up, especially since it's been so warm lately. I have noticed coming in during morning hours, usually on Mondays and even Wednesdays that one of the employees doesn't wear her mask. I felt uneasy, considering the global pandemic as well as Juice It Up promoting healthy living, to see an employee not wearing a mask while making smoothies and topping bowls seems unfit. I don't understand why all her other employees comply with the mask regulations in CA but she feels that she is too superior for that? I have asked one of the employees who she was and they said that was the manager. I was in today and this has been the fourth time I have seen her in the front with no mask or apron. Most of the employees are very friendly and welcoming here. The establishment is clean and service is for the most part quick. One thing I've noticed recently which brought me to write this review is a new staff member, I don't know his name unfortunately but he has blonde hair and is very young if that helps. he's been very rude and aggressive towards the female workers. I noticed he wonders around not helping others the couple times I went in I heard him yelling at one of the girls saying "I don't have to do sh*t you're not my boss!" when it was very busy and the lobby was full of customers. It was so sad to see the 2 girls struggle with all the orders and deal with incoming customers. it's not the first time to see this struggle & the few times I've came in he's doing it to them also as a regular customer, I did mention it to one of the other employees but they said management wouldn't do much and just talk to him not to do it again aka he'll just get away with it. this behavior is not ok. This young man seems to be handling himself as if he's entitled or favored and that can lead to someone feeling harassed or in a hostile work environment. So in conclusion , please do better Juice it up in taking better care of your employees and vetting better candidates because this is just not it! The açaí bowls are great because you choose the frozen mix (açaí + apple, or bananas, or others) and then get to choose which three toppings you want. They offer a custom made fresh juice with tons of options (I had cucumber, lemon, spinach, blueberry, and celery - very yummy). Their smoothies are also great! I went in to juice it up for my lunch, which is 30 minutes. Everything went fine until I look at my clock and realize 25 minutes have passed and I still didn't get my smoothie. To top it off, there were 4 people that came in after me and they all got their smoothies before me. I was fuming and when I get mad I just shut down because I'm not nice. So I didn't complain at the time, and plus, I had to rush back to work because my lunch was over by the time I got my smoothie. This is the worst Juice ItUp I have ever been to. And it must be regular practice to be horrible and have to give refunds. I placed my order at about 2:25. There was a little rush and three people were waiting. We waited and waited and they looked busy like they were getting going on making them. Another woman walked in the door 10 minutes into my wait and she walked straight up to the counter and got her order immediately taken Haley then turned around and made her order and give it directly to the woman a green something. So this woman cut in line in front of all the other people who are waiting and she wasn't even a regular customer they even gave her a card at the time.
