Decent bathrooms. Average crappy Starbucks coffee.

I'm updating my review and downgrading to 1 star...I have been ordering the same drink every day and multiple locations, today the girl here told me they couldn't make it. It is not a complicated drink just a cold foam cappuccino with light cream...everyone else has been able to make it with zero problem. Some half a** training at this store. read more

Slower of the Starbucks. Have had several cold (almost frozen) in the center sausage breakfast sandwiches from this location

Love the location of this Starbucks! I is on 7th Standard by the 99. It's a great stop if I need a little pick me up before heading into work, or a great stop if I had a long day at work. I've never had a problem with this location, and they don't take as long as other locations that I've been. I've always been in and out no more than 10 minutes; depending on the size of my order. The staff is very friendly and always have a smile on their faces. Always welcoming me with a "hello", "good morning", or "have a nice day". Great customer service will always have me coming back, no matter how long I have to wait. read more

These guys are always so polite in the drive through, i always forget the name of someone's drink and they are patient in helping me describe what it is i want (i'm a guy so i don't really frequent starbucks) but all in all this place is sweet 10/10 customer service read more

This is my favorite Starbucks in bakersfield always clean staff is always friendly and helpful even when is super busy. The drive thru is pretty fast most times it's a long line of cars but they u thru at decent time. read more

Never had a problem with this Starbucks. I usually get iced coffee, and I appreciate the fact they don't put all ice in the cup.

This Starbucks is really great in the morning. The morning crew never gets my drinks wrong. But as soon as it hits 10am just go somewhere else. For some reason their mid-crew and closing crew can't seem to get anything right. It will be typed in correctly at the order screen but they cut corners. Yes, I can taste that you put my cream in the bottom of my iced coffee because it's not being measure correctly. Starbucks put the lines on the cup for a reason, when you don't make the drinks to standard it throws off other stores because they get screamed at that their coffee isn't right. I worked for Starbucks for 7 years. I don't know everything anymore but I do know that Starbucks has a standard way of making everything. Everyone who works later than 10am needs to be retained on how to make drinks. -- maybe this is why they put in the new store in oildale. I'll go there next time it's past 10. read more

I am writing this review given the fact that we are in the middle of a difficult situation, but that doesn't mean people should be treated unfairly. I have always ordered on my phone with this store because I don't really like going inside due to the employee interaction I have always had, and what happen right now solidifies that. I walked in the store, and my drinks are ready to go but I have a cup from home that I'd like to get icing. So as I waited for five minutes outside of the bar area and not one employee look at me, I proceeded to walk up to the cash register where somebody was working with somebody and I waited. Once I got to the register, the male employee greeted me and I asked if I could get ice. He said no. So then I asked if I could get a cup advice, and he said yes. As I followed him around the corner to the bar to get the cup of ice from him, he said, "Sorry, were in the middle of a pandemic right now if you didn't know, so I don't want to touch your cup." It was just a comment that did not need to be made. Even one of the other customers in the store was shocked by his remark and they sort of shook their head with me. Having worked at a Starbucks before, I know this is not acceptable, so I'm hoping something changes. I could be looking into this a little too much, but this is the fourth or fifth interaction I've had with this employee and every single one has gone this way. This isn't a reflection on the entire Starbucks itself, but at what point do we realize how to handle ourselves in public? read more

Worst starbucks ever! Just paid $5 for a cup of coffee that was supposed to be a carmel macchiato but ended up being black coffee with milk... Barista was in a foul mood and was rude to anyone with a comment or question... makes for a wonderful experience.. read more

Terrible drive thru service waited for my drink for 15 mins and they got my order wrong. This happened to me multiple times here.

Stopped in for a Grande of one of my favorite coffees, hot white chocolate mocha. Great people, great service, and great coffee.

5 stars isn't enough. Drove through the drive thru and couldn't decide what we wanted. Took maybe 10 minutes to decide with the help of the barista Trenton. He was very helpful and knowledgable! Luckily there were no other customers waiting. He was really patient and very nice! If we were from the area this would be our go to Starbucks. I've been to a few Starbucks around town and through-out California. This one has become my favorite. Even though it is a couple mile route change from my work, I make the trip just because the staff here is friendly, and speedy. I've come so much my drink is usually started when I walk through the door. Besides days that another customer orders five drinks and one orders eight drinks, the service is usually pretty dang quick! Definitely my favorite lobby with a cool, quiet feel; easy to get work done! read more

Worst Starbucks ever! The only reason I ever come here (which is rare) is because it's close to my place of work. They are so incredibly slow. I mean to the point of being ridiculous. The manager really needs to get with the baristas here and teach them time management and customer service. No lie, I sat in the drive thru for 25 min. That's insane.... read more

This place was horribly slow. All I ordered was one order of egg bites and I waited at least ten minutes at the drive through window while I watched the employees have conversations and laugh inside. Then when they finally opened the window they got my order wrong and hadn't even started cooking my egg bites. read more

This isn't the best Starbucks in town, but it's also not the worst. The service is usually pretty quick and the employees are friendly. The drinks, on the other hand, are inconsistent. Each employee seems to interpret an order differently - not slightly different, but drastically different. read more

Apparently this location doesn't want my money. Stood in front of the register while some young lady in a green apron on the other side refused to acknowledge me. The gentlemen making drinks went out of his way to say someone would help me and yet the person in front of me still did not acknowledge me... just awkward silence. Pretty disappointed, headed out of state, this was our stop for breakfast and coffee. My order was $20.10 and they wouldn't break a 100$ bill, which is all I had with me. I don't think that's very good service. Walked out with nothing, leaving the whole family hungry, cranky and in the truck for 6 hrs. read more

I like Starbucks coffee but when the drink is not made right it can taste bad really bad. This Starbucks can't seem to get any consistency they have one great barista Sabastain other then that good luck! Just dropped $8 and my drink taste like garbage. I pulled into this Starbucks just like I would any other Starbucks. The drive through was nice and paved. When it came time to order I, for the life of me, could not utter the word "latte". So I chose the next best thing and said "frappuccino". I get to the window, which is very clean by the way, and see two frozen drinks that were made for me but not what I had in mind. Now the embarrassment of my mistake sets in and I think about just speeding off. Suddenly the window opens and I'm greeted by April. Let me tell you about April. She is a saint. I explained how I forgot the word "latte" and she was very understanding. "Theres a lot of different words and it's easy to get mixed up" she tells me. She made the two lattes and told me to have a nice night. I will go out of my way to go to this Starbucks now. Thanks April. read more

Let me start by saying I have visited this location since they first opened years ago. For 3 years running I went every day and enjoyed the baristas customer service skills and some customers conversations who were regulars like myself. I have done many reviews this spot but normally thru starbucks directly. I moved away for 3 years and recently came back to Cali. I no longer do daily starbucks and haven't in the 3 years I was away so to my surprise this morning when I stopped in the drive thru to order my drink when the window opened..., there was Sebastian! He has been there for as long as I can remember and has always been a great barista and one of my personal faves. Not only did he remember me he also remembered my drink and reminded me of how I should be ordering it. I am so touched he makes me want to take up my old daily habit again!! I have no clue what management or who management is there now.., but I expect your already aware and value Sebastian and his great service. read more

Nice place! Its quiet, and its always nice and cool. Perfect to catch a good house coffee and catch up on the news.

This store has poor customer service poor hours. U should go to store hwy 99 n olive dr. Several exits south of this store. I stopped. To night at drive thru has I drove by lights were on n people inside. Drove up to squak box. No one came on speaker. Final drove to window again no one came to window. When I honked they looked at me and then continued to ignore me no signage to show they were close. This was shortly after 10p Monday. S L O W E S T Starbucks Ever! Drive Thru line takes at least 10-15 minutes every single time I go (At Least 12 times). I love Starbucks, but this store has to improve on their timely service. read more
