This Starbucks is beautiful! They are really bringing back the coffee shop vibes with their latest renovations and updates. The shop is huge and spacious with lots of space to hang out and linger. Service was excellent and I indulged in a great spring special remix- a matcha latte with cherry cold foam on top, so good! I've visited this location a few times, and unfortunately, I've had consistent issues. Twice I asked for Sumatra coffee bags and got decaf without knowing until I got home. More recently, I requested a 'metal' grind setting for my coffee maker, but it was ground far too coarse. At $15 a bag, I just expect a little more care with the details. Due to this, my coffee at home doesn't taste right! It's so simple to just grind it on the correct setting. I hope they can improve! read more

Was so excited to get my Starbucks today, the gentleman behind the counter was beyond sweet while ordering my tea. I had been sitting for a while and noticed that the girl who had come after me had already received her drink so I went to the counter to see if someone might have taken my drink by mistake. I asked the first girl I saw if a black tea had been made for the counter yet and was met with a rude retort of " I wouldn't know "eye roll" I just got here. I gave her a thumbs up and walked back to my seat. Moments later my drink was slid across the counter with the same attitude and my name was called. I grabbed my drink ( it was made wrong, unfortunate but it happens. I ordered a black tea with two Splendas and sweet cream, Farley simple) I directed my communication towards her letting her know it had been made wrong. The gentlemen asked what was wrong and I let him know it was just black tea. it was missing the sweet cream. He was kind and fixed it for me an apologized. She was annoyed, so I got annoyed and shared that I didn't know she had just gotten there and I didn't deserve how rude she was being to me as if I had bothered her by asking about my drink or correcting that it was made wrong. I wanted to leave 1 star because "Natalie" put salt in my koolaid today. But instead I'll leave 5 stars and just say be more considerate when you're serving others. We don't know when you clock in or out. The job is service, it's bad enough we get asked for tips before our drinks are made, so when we do leave a tip and get met with that kind of response, it really ruins the experience. The barista was beyond disrespectful, and was on the phone with her other coworkers the entire time we were ordering. She was laughing and telling us to hold on while she talked to her coworkers. she kept having us repeat our order because she couldn't hear it over her phone. Then, after we got our first drink we overheard her talking bad about us saying she "messed up the name for the order on purpose" because we "ordered too many changes" and that we wouldn't wait for her. Absolutely phenomenal Starbucks experience here today. In the middle of a 6 hour road trip, we had to stop to make the obligatory bathroom break and get some bonus caffeine. This Starbucks was surprisingly empty on a Sunday morning (maybe we were too early?) but we all know coffee shop bathrooms can be real hit or miss, and I was extremely pleased with the condition of this one, both clean and well stocked. The barista this morning was so kind and friendly, and she gave our kiddo a free cookie. My husband and requested any drink she wanted with some caffeine in it, and she hit it out of the park for him. My chai was above par, and our order was finished quickly. This location could be a great place to study, work, or hang out and read. It's a great interior with soft lighting and MCM-inspired furnishings. Why the single star? There are only two outlets for customers in the entire store. Want to charge your phone or use your computer while it's plugged in? You have to get the ends of the two long tables and hope nobody else is already plugged in. The other reason: the drinks aren't even up to Starbucks' mediocre standards. My friend and I bought two drinks and two bites to eat here and asked if they could help us out by giving us two cups of hot water to fill up a hot water bottle as my friend had bad cramps and was on a long road trip. Their lack of connection and compassion for a woman and sticking to a policy idiotically - "because lot of people come here for free hot water only".... Well we bought stuff and are you really this pathetic to decline a woman who is clearly in pain due to a health issue? Yuck. Talk about inconsiderate. Two cups of hot water doesn't cost a cent for a corporate chain charging overpriced drinks. Their margins are around 15%, with 500 average customers per day per store, and 33,295 locations, so they make insane profits. I work on corporate social responsibility the lack of civility evidenced here is what's wrong with corporations worldwide. Cant wait to write the heads of Starbucks about this once I get in. I have been here plenty of times and I always loved it because it was quick and they always made my cafe vanilla frap perfect. but I went this morning and I get my drink and my sausage cheddar and egg sandwich without the egg and the sandwich smelled like fish. i order this almost every time I go. So i was confused and I smelt everything around me and no it was DEFINITELY the sandwich. I don't know how but after this I'm not going back, that's gross and I don't understand how either. As a general rule, I don't review a food service business until I've made at least 3 to 5 visits. Of course there are always exceptions, especially due to travel. This is a nice Starbucks. The inside is big with lots of seating for work or lounging with a cup. I've ordered at this Starbucks many times now. I've ordered in-store and in the drive-thru. I've ordered ahead with the mobile app, for pick up both in-store and via the drive-thru. These are the issues I've noticed. 1) The parking lot is small and the design of the drive-thru is terrible. The entrance is accessible from opposing directions, causing confusion for drivers regarding the order of entry. The menu and ordering speaker are very close to the drive-thru entrance, causing cars waiting to enter the drive-thru to block entry to the parking lot from the east side. I understand there's nothing the employees can do about this, but maybe the owner/franchisee could address this somehow? Remodel the entrance? Move the menu and speaker further into the drive-thru? 2) At this location, if you're heading to work in the morning and want your order quickly, always use the drive-thru. ALWAYS! I cannot emphasize this enough. ALWAYS! No matter how many cars are in the drive-thru, you will get your order faster than if you go into the store. I've experienced this a few times. Today I visited here and could barely get in the parking lot as the drive-thru had many cars in line and they were partially blocking the parking lot entrance (see issue #1). I decided it would better to go in the store and order. I watched the baristas busily fill orders for multiple items and place them in large bags, so I assume the nearby businesses placed large orders for their offices. After waiting 15 minutes, and watching many more cars than were originally in line depart the drive-thru with their orders, I asked about the status of my order. The lady at the register stated there were 11 orders ahead of me and returned to her duties without further explanation. Luckily a young lady making drinks heard my inquiry, apologized for the wait, and assured me she was starting my order immediately. I didn't catch her name, but I would like to thank her for her professionalism and acknowledgement. 3) When you order on the mobile app, you have to choose to pick up in-store or in the drive-thru. Several times I've ordered on the app for pick up in the drive-thru. I like to order when I'm very close to the store. At this location, when I order for drive-thru pick up, it seems to confuse some employees. At the speaker, they usually say to wait as they have to locate the order, and upon returning they say they'll try to have it ready by the time I arrive at the window. One time they said they might have to have me park and bring it to the car when they finish making it. This makes no sense to me. I don't understand why it would take longer to fill an order for one coffee when ordered through the mobile app as opposed to ordering it at the speaker. This is the only location I have ever visited that said this. Overall, I would recommend this Starbucks. The drinks I've purchased here have all been good and the inside seating is very good. Just beware of the parking lot and the busy morning rush (use the drive-thru). read more

Their official opening time is 4:30am weekdays and 5:30 am weekends, but every single time I've come I've either had to wait more than half an hour or come back after work to get a refund on my mobile order. Today I placed a mobile order beforehand thinking enough time had passed since I'd last been here and I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. No change. I understand that sometimes you have to wait a bit when they've first opened, but It's been over half an hour and I'm still waiting here in the drive through, regretting not going to a further location instead. read more

This place is filthy! Homeless spread all over the property and treated better than paying customers. The tables are gross; sticky and appear to not have been attended to in quite awhile. Trash throughout the parking lot. Restrooms very cluttered with no evidence of being attended to from the night before. The staff are illiterate at best. They do not know how to make proper change for cash payments or how to count change back to the customer. I wash my cars every Sunday nearby at Sparkling Car Wash and walk to this Star Bucks. It seems as if this Starbucks now employs the bottom of the barrel as the employees are rude, unconcerned and outright sloppy with their customer service. I will not be back. read more

Wow very impressed with this location. It's the old Burger King across from In-N-Out. The staff here are friendly and they keep the area pretty clean. I was able to get a good amount of studying done, but it does get pretty loud in here. It's a great place for meeting up with a group as it is less crowded than most of their other locations. read more

Hey - it's another Starbucks! You'd think after a time Starbucks would reach a saturation point - but no, it doesn't seem that way at all. With a fairly new one built just down the road on Gosford/Stockdale I had hoped this one would be a little less crowded. Not quite, but that's okay. It's located in an old Burger King and you can still see it showing through. Inside is spacious and they've really done a great job updating it with that industrial chic look. There are plenty of windows and it's a great sort of hidden location for doing work. All the barista's were super nice and kind. And speedy! Another good Starbucks to add to the list! read more

The management has decided to disconnect all electrical outlets due to the fact that they have homeless inundating their lobbies, dining area, venue. They're the only Starbucks in town that is taking this drastic step and for that initiative they have an empty place. Again, we have a situation where when people act up and abuse privileges the only people who actually pay the price for that discretion is the paying customer. We've been to this location a couple of times now and find the customer service to be excellent, and they always have the best variety/selection of cups, so that is great when we try to redeem for points. The Starbucks on stockdale hwy is a joke. These people that work here think that are so much more better than other people. I have asked 3 THREE TIMES FOR THEM TO PLEASE PUT HAND SOAP IN THE MENS BATHROOM. I WAS JUST NOW IN THE Bathroom for all of 5-7 minutes and I was in that long trying to scrap soap from the bottom of the soap dispenser cause they still hadn't put soap in the bathroom or toilet seat covers . on my way up to Northern California and made pit-stop in Bakersfield. Unfamiliar with the area so searched up the closest Starbucks. Found my way to this location & fell in love with it! I love how spacious it is. Plenty of available of tables and windows all around which allow a lot of sunlight in. I like the layout of this particular location. For example, the menu is off to the side giving customers time to look at their options without keeping the line up or having a barista wait in you. The overhead music played at just the right volume level. A lot of outdoor, two-persons tables & drive-thru. wish a location like this one was closer to my home in Orange County! read more
