The neon signs are especially fun too. I came here to celebrate a friend's birthday. I was the first to arrive, and since they don't do reservations, I requested a table. We were expected to be quite a large party (approx.10-12), so it was pretty difficult getting seated quickly since they had to figure out spacing. But that's understandable with how limited the seating is already. I was between getting the zucchini fries and the brussels sprouts, because their brussels sprouts are so tasty and flavorful. But ended up ordering the zucchini fries, because they are incredible! They're nice, hot and crispy, and go amazing with their ranch! For my main dish I ordered the Wild Caught Cajun Salmon Salad. I had never had it before but it was really good & filling! The food took a little long to come out, but again, it was understandable with the amount of people in our party. Overall, I was satisfied with my visit and will definitely come back!

SMITTENS STAPLE IS THEIR ABILITY TO MISS THE FLAVOR IN EVER SINGLE DISH…read more Update: coming back after some palate development... smitten is one of the most tasteless restaurants in town. Their hype was definitely due to the 'aesthetic'. Nothing is really outstanding to me. The drinks are such a let down, the coffee is borderline yuck.. do not recommend. Everything is quite unmemorable. Service is whatever, sometimes mid, sometimes bad. Nothing outstanding. Ambiance.... well... this one has been replicated one too many times. The food is heavily missing flavor, the hummus is disgusting. I can't believe they call that thing hummus, it's an insult to actual dish.. it's almost like it was trying to imitate the real dish, but failed terribly in even attempting to. Their pizza tasted like play-doh and looked very pale. Smitten is at least consistent with one thing, which is their staple: no flavor. One of the breaking points for me was being served food that had someone's HAIR. The restaurant is very expensive for the poor experience they have to offer. I stopped recommending them a long time ago.

Can't argue with that, pop off dude. The food itself was good. I had a latte and a breakfast burrito with chile verde and fruit pancakes. The chile verde was the best part of the meal. Everything else was pretty average and typical for breakfast food. I did like their extensive menu and Mexican American flavors, it was a fun touch.
