Easy access coffee! Driving back from Vegas, heading West on Rosedale Hwy (State Route 58) through Bakersfield, I realized I needed a caffeine kick. While thinking where I could quench my coffee thirst, I saw the sign up ahead on my right side of the road. The staff were very friendly. I had a brief chat about the long drive with the young man who was taking my order. He was friendly cordial and made sure I got my latte exactly how I had asked for it. This location of Starbucks is easy to access, you can just pull in and out quickly if you are in a rush. I had a few minutes, so I got my coffee and sat outside to answer a few emails and that's when I shot the artistic photo of the coffee cup you see!!! :-P

I mean it's Starbucks, it's understandable it's always busy, other than that customer service is good, dropping my personal recommendation

Worst Starbucks I've ever been to not only they take a long time but their bathroom was a hot mess. It seems like it hasn't been cleaned for a long while and I don't know what happened to the hand dryer it was taken apart. The bathroom just looked disgusting. WTH! Nobody cleans?!?!

The cup was smashed so coffee spilled all over the car.

I am a big coffee person and visit Starbucks often. This location in particular was very disappointing on different occasions. The first occasion, I had an extremely long wait at the drive-thru. I thought maybe there were cars with large orders; however, when I was at the window paying for our one drink, I waited an additional 5 or so minutes. Being at the window, you can see through the window, and I observed the workers standing around talking instead of making my drink. The second time I was disappointed in this location was when my husband requested a free first responder coffee (we are extremely grateful that Starbucks recognized the work of first responders and offered this promotion). After receiving the order, he placed the coffee in the cup holder and waited to finish his breakfast before drinking his coffee. When he decided to drink his coffee, the coffee had leaked out of the cup and coffee spilled all over the cup holder in the car. He opened the lid and found that the barista had used a smashed cup. During the same visit, I had ordered a grande matcha latte for myself. Since I am paying $4.45 for my drink, I expect for the cup to be full rather than partially full. There are other Starbucks locations in town, and we prefer going to the others. We haven't had issues with the other locations.

    Very nice place

Way way way WAYYYYYYYY better than the one on Ming and Ashe! Friendly, classy employees. Quiet decent clientele. Low calming music. Unlike that ghetto Starbucks that gives the company a bad name.

Ordered the spinach pita wrap here, warm and toasty, there are seats for studying with laptop. It was loud inside.

So because I don't use my app, I don't get to have a free birthday drink. Not even the manager would override. Disappointing.

Why do you put a barista in the drive thru that can't multitask? I waited 20 minutes today and I was the 6th person in the drive thru!

I went twice to this location two days in a row because I enjoyed it so much. First with a friend and then I had to introduce it to my kids. The coffees and teas are delish and unique, as well as the smoothies and juices (I didn't try those but my kids loved them). We tried a variety of baked goods, the honeycomb bread is sooooo dang good! Filled with little pockets of cream cheese, drizzled with honey, and topped with toasted regular and black sesame seeds (I forgot to take a pic of this one, but I'll add it next time I go). We enjoyed all of the pastries we tried- not a crumb on our plates by the time we were finished! The decor is beautiful and unique. All of the employees super nice and helpful. You can ask them for descriptions or ask for a menu to see details and ingredients. They're open late too, so I think my next visit will be a GNO or a date with my hubby.

Upon entry I was taken aback by the beautiful art that appears hand painted on the wall. It is beautiful! I wanted to get a feel for what Yemeni coffee is and how it differs from other regional coffees and I did not get that. We ordered a coffee and a matcha and I was able to try and enjoy both. I think it's good coffee and matcha I just didn't understand how their product differed from anything else. It's not bad and I would get it again but I didn't get a feel for the region. I remember when I tried Turkish coffee for the first time and the richness of flavor and strength, Salvadoran coffee and its rich aromatics, Palestinian and its rich nutty textures via spice, but here I was left wondering. Yes, this is a pistachio coffee, but what makes it different? I don't know. Yes, this is a pistachio matcha, but what made it different. Don't know. Good sure, but I can't really describe how it is unique. The baklava, certainly, provided this rich information. Compared to other baklavas it was drier and crunchier in a way that was satisfying and light. I would prefer to eat this baklava if I was watching my sugar and calories, which coincidently I currently am. Other baklavas are more decadent and syrup/sugar heavy. I was left with a want for more out of how light and delicious they are. I hope to try their cake offerings soon! Would return to continue trying their menu and would love to see a no straw option for the lid along with a more sustainable cup!

As I was walking I saw the sign for this place and was happy I did because my other coffee options were a fast food restaurant or the famous coffee chain. It was a bit confusing to locate. It was tucked away in the back of a commercial office space type building. Once inside the place was very clean and organized. Very minimalist design. I was only one of 4 total people inside. My order was taken quickly. I ordered an iced americano with a ham and cheese turnover. Coffee was on point. No notes. No complaints. The pastry however was not good. They asked me if I wanted it heated up. I said I did. I saw her put it in the microwave, and I assumed they turned it on. When I bit into it (I had already left and walked across the street) it was cold. Like cold cold. On top of that it was flavorless which made it worse. Stick to the coffee or make sure you check the temp of the food prior to leaving.

The space is actually one of their biggest strengths there's a lot of seating, plenty of room to bring your laptop and work remotely, and areas where people can gather. It's also connected to a church, so it definitely leans into that community-centered atmosphere. Unfortunately, after going back 3-4 times hoping my experience would improve, the coffee has been consistently disappointing. It tastes burnt and weak at the same time like warm water with sugar. There barely seems to be any real espresso in the drinks. On more than one occasion, I've taken several sips hoping it would get better... and ended up throwing the whole drink away because it was just that bad. That's honestly frustrating, especially when you're paying for specialty coffee. The only drink I've actually enjoyed there is the pumpkin spice latte, that one was solid.
