Starbucks as always been known for WiFi and plugin access. I buy from Starbucks everyday almost. I just purchased a drink and eggs bites from a different location and on my way across town to go to an appt I came to this location to sit and work on homework. I was approached and asked to leave by a team member or buy something when I had just bought something not even an hour ago from Starbucks. This is so rude and unprofessional to force your employees to make people leave. Im not homeless im not disturbing anyone and I spend a lot of money here to be kicked out????? So disappointing and honestly embarrassing. So you expect me to spend another $10 just to sit when I just spend $15 no more than an hour prior?? I even offered to bring my Starbucks drink in but was told it had to be at this location. Smh Do better. What about local student that need plug ins, wifi and a quiet place to study??? read more

In drive-thru line for 10 minutes. I called the store to see if they were ok in there. They said they had a customer who had 5 drinks and needed one re-customized, and that they would be moving along shortly. A. Why didn't they make that guy park and have a team member bring the drink to them and get everyone else moving along. B. It did NOT get moving. Never coming back to this location. read more

Easy access coffee! Driving back from Vegas, heading West on Rosedale Hwy (State Route 58) through Bakersfield, I realized I needed a caffeine kick. While thinking where I could quench my coffee thirst, I saw the sign up ahead on my right side of the road. The staff were very friendly. I had a brief chat about the long drive with the young man who was taking my order. He was friendly cordial and made sure I got my latte exactly how I had asked for it. This location of Starbucks is easy to access, you can just pull in and out quickly if you are in a rush. I had a few minutes, so I got my coffee and sat outside to answer a few emails and that's when I shot the artistic photo of the coffee cup you see!!! :-P read more

I am a big coffee person and visit Starbucks often. This location in particular was very disappointing on different occasions. The first occasion, I had an extremely long wait at the drive-thru. I thought maybe there were cars with large orders; however, when I was at the window paying for our one drink, I waited an additional 5 or so minutes. Being at the window, you can see through the window, and I observed the workers standing around talking instead of making my drink. The second time I was disappointed in this location was when my husband requested a free first responder coffee (we are extremely grateful that Starbucks recognized the work of first responders and offered this promotion). After receiving the order, he placed the coffee in the cup holder and waited to finish his breakfast before drinking his coffee. When he decided to drink his coffee, the coffee had leaked out of the cup and coffee spilled all over the cup holder in the car. He opened the lid and found that the barista had used a smashed cup. During the same visit, I had ordered a grande matcha latte for myself. Since I am paying $4.45 for my drink, I expect for the cup to be full rather than partially full. There are other Starbucks locations in town, and we prefer going to the others. We haven't had issues with the other locations. read more

This is one of the earlier Starbucks in town. I remember when there was nothing there but an empty field. Considering the decades that it has been there, it's holding up pretty well. Back in the day, musicians, like Dr. BLT and myself used to play music outside, but unfortunately certain regulations could get in the way of that now. The only reason why I gave it 4, instead of 5 stars, is the parking situation. Too much traffic in the parking lot makes it difficult to park or back out safely. I usually order ahead on the app and pick my order up in the drive thru. Today I totally forgot to order ahead so I just went through the drive thru and ordered my drink. I got an iced apple crisp oatmilk macchiato which is my new favorite fall drink! It tastes like the fall version of a sugar cookie latte! If you haven't tried it yet I would highly recommend it! This Starbucks is great, my only problem is one employee who is very spaced out and distracted every time I see him. His name is Austin and any time he even come in contact with my order, it's wrong. My order isn't complicated, I always get a Venti Black Tea with 2 stevias. If my order isn't wrong, then it takes more than 15 minutes to receive it, even on a slow day. He is very rude to me when taking my order EVERY SINGLE TIME! I often hear him talking about customers too. Any time I see him when I walk into this Starbucks, I just do a mobile order so I don't have to deal with his attitude and lack of concentration or care. This location is my favorite location. Not only is it across the street from my gym it is down the road from my office. The morning crew whether it be 5am or later are always welcoming and address the regulars by their name. They are extremely friendly and go above and beyond to make sure you have everything you order they way you order it. They even have my extra cup of ice waiting since they know i love to chew ice . By far the slowest Starbucks ever. It took 40 mins to get 3 coffees and two of them were wrong.

Visiting from WA and met my grandniece for coffee. First they made her coffee wrong. Waited a long time for it to be made correctly. We just get all settled and here comes the manager kicking us all out because they didn't have enough staff and they need to "focus on the drive through." She should have locked the door and put up the sign and let the few of us there finish our drinks and conversation. We were literally no extra trouble now we had our drinks! Outside she said we could sit there and discovered we were sitting in Rubio's chairs not Starbucks. Of course, no bathroom either. We were pretty much done with Starbucks before this happened. Now they can totally forget us ever being customers again. I am really enjoying this new compassionate communist America. Pitiful that this passes for a coffee house. read more

Starbucks, If you've been to one you've pretty much been to them all. For this review I will discuss my new favorite item.... The chocolate cake pops! Nommmm nomm. I've been infatuated with the birthday cake pops since they've came out and never strayed off that. But today I needed chocolate in my life. Loved them and so happy I tried them. Always gets my coffee right which other locations seem too never do. Manager John is always friendly and organized. Quick service in the drive thru which most are always slow especially the Hageman one I will drive the distance because it will take less time than waiting in their line. John you seem to be doing a great job at this store keep up the good work I love it!!! Reviewing Starbucks is pretty generic. I mean, they all serve the same things. And for the most part, their service is standard. I do appreciate the consistency though. This Starbucks does give a leg up on the rest. It's open pretty much ALL the time. Even most holidays. Who doesn't need an ultra caffeinated beverage Christmas morning? Right? Parking lot kind of sucks, it's much easier to park closer to Kohls otherwise you're battling an endless stream of traffic. Better yet? I've been a fan of SBUX since the 70's... JK! I was barely born then. The Starbucks on Rosedale is my every day stop. It's on my way to work and the staff there already knows me. I appreciate that they call me by name and just ask, "the usual?" It makes me feel like Norm from cheers but with coffee instead of beer. The parking in this whole shopping center is terrible!
