This store is slammed. I came in and ordered a latte and egg bites too me 15 minutes for egg bites and 20 minutes to get a latte. Definitely recommend ordering mobile and 20-25 minutes ahead. Best Starbucks I've ever been to. Ben is so friendly and extremely personable, and Karina created my now favorite drink here. I asked for something without syrup but still has a nice flavor and she came up with a brewed Chai Tea with vanilla bean powder and steamed milk. It's perfect and exactly what I was looking for. Great staff! I have to add that I love the music here too, lots of 90's hip hop and classic jazz (Sinatra, Nat King Cole, etc). I went into Starbucks at 11 am and asked the girl at the counter what specials they had for veterans day. The girl didn't know what or when veterans day was they asked her manager. The manager responded by saying we don't give you anything for veterans day... Am I crazy or every other starbucks has treated their vets on veterans day. Considering we fi live in an active military and retired state it would be smart to know your federal holidays. I rarely complain but I felt they were pretty rude and unprofessional. I wasn't "trying to get something free" I've been appreciated by starbucks every veterans day, just apparently not this location. Is it me, or are the Starbucks in the greater Phoenix area just becoming a dump? Slow service. Horrible customer service. Continual stock outages. Dirty lobbies. I don't understand what's going on. I used to be a diehard Starbucks fan, but over the last year or so, it's been such a hit or miss. Unfortunately, there have been a lot more misses lately than hits. This location falls in the miss category. They're insanely slow!!! Doesn't matter if you place a mobile order or not. They'll take at least 20 minutes to make your drink. Several times now, I have ordered on the mobile app before leaving the house for work. The app will give me an estimated pickup time. I live 15 minutes away from this store (it's the only one on my way to work) and my order is rarely ever ready. Oftentimes, I'll have to wait an additional 10 to 20 minutes. And all I order is a cold brew. Nothing complicated whatsoever. Why they take so long is beyond my understanding. After waiting 30 minutes this morning and being slightly late for work, I won't be returning to this location and will have to find another coffee shop. Worst customer service I have ever had at a Starbucks. I came in for a hot tea and a breakfast sandwich at 6:45 on a Saturday, there was no line. Two servers working, It took one of the girls forever to even acknowledge that I was there. The one that made my food was cleaning when I came in, did NOT wash her hands and proceeded to prepare my food. I stood there for almost ten minutes before asking if I could have my tea. The girl acted like she didn't hear me and started to move even slower, as if it were possible to be any more rude than they both were already being. I left without receiving my tea. Weirdly there were a few small Starbuckses with drive through in the State of AZ. I was looking for a nice sit down & relaxing S, actually in any cities in the world. Luckily this Starbucks was one of few doing all that in Arizona. As a collector of You Are Here Collection mugs, I tried many Starbucks in AZ, just to get them. Couldn't find those mugs in many Arizona Starbucks! In this particular S, they only had 2 Arizona mugs. The guy was keep saying, delivery day is today. I end up getting 2 Arizona mugs and 3 Phoenix ones. As a member of a serious collector family, I have to decide who's getting the mugs and who's not.. By the way, Arizona & Phoenix mugs are the only collectors mug in Az. Don't get upset, there are no Starbucks in Vermont, CT doesn't have Y A H mugs, or no Massachusetts mug exists, only Boston has one, etc, etc... read more

My son wanted to treat me to a Starbucks drink since he just started earning money. We ordered and while we were waiting I saw my husband get out of Fry's next door, so I told my son to get the drinks since I had the keys to the car. He came excited with the drinks and on our way home I noticed that they have made the wrong drink for me. I didn't want to make a bid deal out of it since he was so proud for purchasing these drinks with his own money. So my advice is to not be in a hurry and be there when they make your order, otherwise you end up with something you did not order or even resemble anything like the drink you wanted. read more

This is the worst Starbucks on this end of town. The employees are always rude (except for Ricky). They usually don't chitchat, or even say hi. Now, I know that it may seem weird to yelp a very common hotspot like Starbucks, but I have to say that this is one of the best one's I've ever had the privilage of calling my "regular" stop. This Starbucks is located in the Fry's Grocery Center next to the UPS Store and Fry's. The reason that I keep coming back here is simply that the people are SOOOOOO friendly and they've never messed up on one of my drinks. Since I teach at the high school down the road, having a Starbucks close by is very convenient. I always hit this place up when I have to stay late. Everytime I walk in, I'm always greeted with a "Hey, how are ya?" and at this point they already know my order. There's this one blonde lady that works there that has been sparking up small talk for a few months now. I mentioned to her casually that I was heading to St. Louis for a couple days and when I got back, she actually remembered and asked me how my trip was!! Super impressive. This is a busy little store with small seating area. This is more of a grab and go store due to size. There are only 2 small tables and a medium size table and all feel like cramped. The staff is friendly and always busy here. The location is convenient and right next to The grocery store. I always stop here on way into work. read more

These baristas are wonderful! They really make you feel welcomed and are great with their customers. It's not located in the best area and have gone through tough situations, but they don't let that interfere with their excellent customer service skills. Starbucks seems to be one of the few coffee shops that has the salted caramel mocha, which I love! It isn't a conditional love, (between the salted caramel mocha and myself), I wait patiently throughout the spring and summer seasons for the return of fall and my mocha that has not made it on the main menu yet. (I know it has waited for me, as well). After recently moving from Minnesota to Arizona, I am happy to have found that the employees at this location are as friendly as the ones in the mid-west. Being that I work in the service industry I am very particular about the service I get, (It is part of the job to be helpful, nice, and accommodating), so much so that I would skip out on my favorite coffee vice if the service was not up to par. Luckily for me, I found this location, where the atmosphere is relaxed, and the love between the salted caramel mocha and myself is able to flourish. read more
