Ordered a Mango Matcha and Iced brown sugar oatmilk shaken espresso. The matcha wasn't blended, had pieces floating and left a bitter taste, didn't receive the cold foam. The espresso also poorly mixed and tasted like burnt coffee grounds and ass. The staff was nice when we ordered, but when brought back, the manager was very rude, blamed us THE CUSTOMER for them not being made properly and denied us a refund. My iced coffee was perfect. To most people I'm "extra"; to a TRUE barista, it's all about portions and perfection. Literally one of the best to date. Then, on top of it I was thrilled to hear John, Daria, and the guy with curly black hair (no name tag but this guy deserves credit too) greeting guest by name as they entered. I was perfectly happy with this Starbucks - in fact it's probably my favourite one in Buffalo which isn't saying much as I think Starbucks is an absolutely enormous pile of dog manure and dog poo isn't even used as manure so that just shows you how bad it is... but this particular store was okay and the people working here were really friendly, great people watching here, temperature in here was okay in midwinter, the product was okay which is better than it was at most of the others. However that changed when one of the Baristas here found me on Snapchat (and cleverly identified himself as someone who worked at this particular Starbucks and had "seen me in here a few times"), and that didn't bother me (I'm verrrry hard to creep out), I'm not exactly sure how he found me but I guess it's not hard to find me if you really want to, so he then added me and then asked me about a hundred times for naked pictures including getting really aggressive about it, and I warned him to back off and he didn't. I ignored him and didn't even bother deleting him, although I considered it. Eventually he deleted me with some nasty remark because I didn't send them. So other than the psycho creepy Barista it's a good location but I have to downgrade for that particular person. This is my daily Starbucks. Barista's are friendly enough. I think my biggest issues include lack of seating (this isn't a large location despite being located between UB North and South...it attracts a lot of studying and working folks so you would have thought it would have been a bit bigger in there). There also are not a ton of places to plug in...it's almost as if they don't want you to hang out there (LOL). This location does a ton of mobile orders so be aware that you will likely still have to wait when you arrive to pick up your drink. There is a drive through, mobile order options, food, and merchandise available. No codes for restroom. read more

I like Starbucks and had a pretty good experience here after coming for some post-dinner tea & socializing. It was in the same plaza as Buffalo Little Lamb and my party came here after eating. I enjoyed a delicious peach tea (seriously that flavor was inspiring!) and a coffee cake, while my friends got some of the gummy bears and even some of the more vegan friendly drinks (due to the almond butter). Every beverage/food item I've ordered have been made correctly and in a very timely manner. The staff are all friendly, and inside it is very clean. When the weather is nice, they have a great area for you to sit outside. It can be a little noisy, due to the fact that you're looking right out to Sheridan Drive, and also because of the fact that they're located in a plaza with several other shops. The drive-thru is an absolute mess. Because of the fact that they're in a plaza, when it's backed up, cars are literally blocking other people in. When you're pulling all the way out, you have to be very careful and edge out slowly, because there is a blindspot from people coming the other way. Really, the only issue I have with this place is the drive-thru. When I come to this location, I pre-order through my mobile app, and just walk-in. I'm telling you, you're better off doing that, than trying to wait in the drive-thru line. read more

This is a nice little Starbucks with a Drive-thru and plenty of parking. It's a newer Starbucks, so the furniture looks less worn-out than other older Starbucks in the area. The seating situation is set up quite interestingly: There are about 4-5 regular tables, two high top tables, a sofa seat, and a long table in the corner of the store that seats about 8-9 people. The long table has bag hooks and outlets for people who need to work too. They have ceiling-to-floor windows, so the place is extremely well lit, and on sunnier days, you can pull down the blinds. When I came, there were five baristas working and it was pretty busy. I'm not sure if it was because they were busy, but the barista that took my order wasn't very nice. :/ Also, it's not the most convenient Starbucks to access, especially since it's located in a plaza with at least seven other stores. read more

When I showed up at the window, the employee was wearing a mask and asked me to wait for a second since my drink was not quite finished. I don't know how my local Starbucks does it but they always get my order tasting exactly the way it should time after time. They are friendly, they are maintaining social distancing and even go so far as to offer masks in little bags in case you need one and there definitely is enough hand sanitizer in multiple locations in the café. During Covid I have given up many of my usual foodie luxuries, this is one I feel I do not have to give up because I have watched them take ample precautions. This makes my few trips each week feel even more of a joy to my taste buds LOL. I know that many people are foregoing buying from chains right now to support local businesses, but these local businesses are owned by local people and they employ our neighbors. I see nothing wrong with supporting them as well. Go get yourself a delicious Starbucks drink. I ended up ordering chicken and double smoked bacon sandwich, a piece of chocolate loaf, and an Evolution watermelon juice on the side. I was extremely impressed by the sandwich as it was actually pretty delicious. The chocolate loaf had chocolate chips in it and was also really, really good. Like my usual experience with most Starbucks, the baristas are very friendly and attentive, and my grande almond milk sugar-free vanilla latte is as good as anywhere else. But it is not my first choice if I want to order in. The layout of the coffee shop itself is not very comfortable. It has a boxy, colder industrial vibe. It's a cramped space, with a few small tables, some bar seating and not a lot of couch seating. For grab-and-go, it's great.
