I like my drinks without them too and my usually go to is the Tiramisu milk tea. It is perfect crafted with the flavor of tiramisu yet creating that creamy milk tea taste. The best part about their drinks is that they use real milk, not milk powder. They also offer some desserts but not all of them are made in store. Their tiramisu slice is decent too. Other than the regular menu, they have 2 new drinks that are rotational. I've really enjoyed their Ube matcha and salt foam Thai tea in the recent times. They also have coffee series with cool flavors for coffee lovers. There isn't a lot of seating though so most of the time my orders are a take out. You order at the counter and browse their large selection of toys especially labubus as you wait for your order. It's a cozy little space for a quick order and always delivers on the taste!

We could not tell the difference in taste between them, all you taste is "sweet", despite customizing it with way less sugar. If you're wanting a latte that tastes even remotely like coffee, I do not recommend. If you want a glorified milkshake, this might be your spot.

The young man made it but spilled some on the floor of the stand. He went to clean it up and wiped it up with a paper towel. The paper towel he pulled back was completely black. Honestly I was super thirsty and tried the drink and it was disgusting even without the cleanliness concerns.

I am basing this review on two orders for pickup. It's gonna be long, so buckle up! haha…read moreThe first time I ordered for pickup through text messaging, and, well, it wasn't great... I showed up at the time that was confirmed and there was nothing for me. The staff member apologized and said she would make the order, but there weren't the proper supplies to do so. Upon this happening, I wanted to make sure the owner knew what had happened with the order seemingly slipping through the cracks, so it wouldn't happen to anyone else. From initial contact, I received exemplary communication & customer service... which seems kind of hard to come across these days (unfortunately); lots of people seem to really not care. There was constant communication and care until my order was fulfilled and they even offered to deliver it to me. The protein balls were thoroughly enjoyed by all! They clearly care very much about customer experience & satisfaction. The second time I ordered for pickup, I ordered through DoorDash and everything was ready as ordered and on time. When I picked up my order, I also got a fruit smoothie with protein added. It was delicious. They use whole fruit (not syrups) and very clean whey protein, Naked brand. They also offer protein coffee, which I believe they use Javvy brand, as well as acai bowls, waffles, salads, naan pizzas and more. I will definitely be back for more protein balls & be trying out more of their items as I am able to make it there (they are located about 30 minutes from where I live). Support small business. The space itself is nice too, with plenty of room to sit and eat. It doesn't give "takeout only" vibes, which I appreciate. There's a kiosk where you can place your order, but I personally prefer interacting with the staff. They were friendly and helpful. The Korean chicken had the perfect crunch on the outside while still staying juicy on the inside. I loved that they offered kimchi fried rice as an option instead of the usual pork. The flavor was amazing and the kimchi rice paired perfectly with the chicken. I also got a lemonade with strawberry bursting boba (not pictured), and it was exactly what I needed. I love that they let you choose your sweetness level because I'm picky with how sweet my drinks are. 10/10.

The drinks came out very quickly. I got a black milk tea and it honestly wasn't my favorite. 10/10 Experience at Tea Leaf Cafe!…read more Tea Leaf Cafe in Buffalo is easily one of my favorite spots in the city. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is cozy, clean, and welcoming. It's the perfect place to relax, hang out with friends, or just enjoy some quiet time. The drinks are AMAZING. Whether you're getting classic milk tea, fruit tea, or something more unique, everything tastes super fresh and perfectly balanced -- not overly sweet, just right. The boba texture is always on point too. You can tell they really care about quality. The staff is friendly, patient, and fast with orders, even when it's busy. They make you feel appreciated as a customer. If you're in Buffalo and love bubble tea (or even if you're trying it for the first time), I 100% recommend Tea Leaf Cafe.
