Love this location!! I stop here almost every day on my commute to work. My drink is somewhat complicated and these amazing baristas go above and beyond to not only remember my drink but treat me like I am family! Today I stopped in with my partner and was greeted by Alexis and Jay, their warm and welcoming hospitality blew me away when she remembered how to make my drink from memory! WOW!!! Thank you Starbucks!!!

    Very cool inside nice vibe

5 stars for the place it's really cool and upscale. Wish all Starbucks were like this. My ice coffee was bitter not the greatest I always have different taste at each Starbucks but overall I would come back before it's really nice

A beautiful Starbucks location in a great area. Large and open with lots of cool merchandise and friendly employees offering fast service. This location offers many seating options including a lovely gated outdoor patio with fireplace where your dogs are always welcome!

When it comes to Starbucks my normal review is 4 stars. Very few locations are truly "great" and very few are just "OK". I am happy to report that his location really is a cut about the rest and totally deserves 5 stars. So, what makes this location so good? First, we'll start with the basics. They have plenty of parking and seating. There is a whole parking lot behind that store that will never fill up. This location is larger than the average shop so they have all kinds of seating, in case you have a preference. There are high tops, a bar by the window, tables with booth backs, large tables for group projects and comfy chair. There is also a substantial patio which I have yet to enjoy b/c I stumbled across this show in winter. Next, we'll move onto the fancy stuff. This location has a fireplace in one corner which really lends itself to a cozy relaxed feeling. It also has a sizable conference room in case you need to hold a meeting for whatever reason. And, as mentioned before, they have a great patio section that will come into play much more as the weather warms up. Finally, to round things out, the service is decent and they've always gotten my order correct. They are fairly removed from high foot traffic areas so this cuts down on sketchy characters hanging out in the store (a common issues at other locations). To sum things up, this is my favorite location in the city. I go out of my way to hit it up. Give it a try sometime.

Also, I'm sure if staff cleaned the spider webs off the patio furniture people would love to sit outside on the patio,

I waited 20 minutes for the staff to make a hot chai tea, and hand me a pumpkin loaf, after asking twice no one knew it was supposed to be made, the guy that took my order had forgotten to enter it?? Idk how that happens, I have my receipt, finally I get my stuff and hot chai is barely warm, the place has a handful of people in there not busy at all . If staff spent less time joking around with each other and more time doing their job, it would be a better place to stop by, it's a beautiful building.

I absolutely love this Starbucks it is absolutely beautiful inside and out. It's so much larger than any other Starbucks in town. You feel like you have a run of the place. It is beautifully decorated which makes it a delight to sit down and enjoy your coffee. The outdoor seating is as nice as the inside. The staff was wonderful and very personable with customers making the experience even better. Now I'm not sure why but my drink was almost a dollar less then most any other place in town. So bonus! Finally I am pleased that this area seems to be thought through so far. With the four businesses all are unique but blend well for a traveler with a hotel, Starbucks, a dominos and finally a great local burger place. I'm a little anxious to see the area develop. If the hotel yelps well I will definitely recommend it to family and friends who are visiting

The baristas at Starbucks Avanyu plaza on 12th street are absolutely Amazing! I'm always greeted with a good morning and a smile. Walking into the office I noticed they took the time to write on my cup "have a good day" this actually made my day! It's the little things in life that matter the most and for me it's definitely coffee and kindness.

I go here on my lunch break regularly. The lady always makes recommendations to me and although I usually order a grande iced caramel macchiato with coconut milk, I tried the prickly pear frappe one time. It was amazingly delicious! Easily the best fruity drink there. I think it was only for a limited time. Although I enjoy the ambiance of this particular Starbucks, (because it is modernly tailored around the New Mexican culture) they have just two faults I've found. The first one is that the are a boutique Starbucks, so, they do not participate in the discounts or promotions on your Starbucks membership. For example if I gained enough points for a free drink I wouldn't be able to redeem it at this Starbucks. However, you can scan your Starbucks card to pay and add points toward a purchase. Another thing: I like to order Starbucks' chocolate croissants, they are so good. Usually I'm offered if I wanted heated up at any other location. Not this one, they don't do that. What really keeps me coming back is how spacious, clean, and cool this Starbucks is.

This place definitely falls into the first category. This morning I went with the single origin Guatemala drip, and it was exactly what a solid cup of coffee should be. Smooth, rich, and balanced with a nice chocolate note that hangs around just long enough to make you take another sip. No bitterness. No burnt taste. Just a clean, well-roasted cup that says someone here actually cares about the beans. The shop itself has a personality, which I always appreciate. It's decorated with fishing lures, fish artwork, and sculptures scattered around the place. Naturally this leads to the obvious conclusion: the owner is either an avid fisherman... or coffee roasting is just the side hustle between trout expeditions. Either way, the theme works. The space feels relaxed, creative, and comfortable. The kind of place where you can sit with a cup and not feel rushed out the door. And speaking of doors, while I was there there was a steady flow of customers coming in and out. That's usually the universal coffee signal for yep, this place is doing something right. Bottom line: Great coffee, cool atmosphere, and a shop with enough character to keep things interesting. I'll definitely be back for another cup of that Guatemala.

Very mild chocolate, I believe it is Dutch chocolate if my memory services me not to sweet which I appreciate. It was delightfully well balanced. The coffee itself is very smooth and not bitter, excellent taste! I will be back for sure to try other options there are lots of choices. I should have taken a picture of the menu. There is ample seating both inside and outside, had I not had my toddler with me I would have loved to sit out front but it is right by the road so a no go with a rambunctious little boy... There is additional outside seating to the side and farther from the road too. I look forward to my next trip.

Even if you don't "bike in", you're welcome to check out the beautiful grounds, the feasting cranes, the crops thriving, and the abundance of happy people. And the food is tasty, too! I enjoyed a few street tacos - $4 each, filled with deliciousness, and made with care. My group and I shared a Berry Crepe as an extra treat, and the lemonade was just as I like it . . . not too tart and not too sweet. Did I mention the wonderful music? A trio provided a steady stream of mellow rock at just the right volume. There was plenty of seating outdoors and indoors, and the staff did a great job getting our food out quickly and keeping everything clean and welcoming. Yelp on, y'all!

I hate that I am leaving a negative review about a local business, but there were too many…read morenegatives to ignore on our visit today. To start, they charge $5 for car parking. I understand that they are hoping to encourage people to cycle instead of drive, but it seemed a bit much to pay to buy food at their establishment. Next, the line was Looooong and moved at a glacial pace. While chatting with others in line, the wait time seemed to be pretty typical for weekends. Waiting over an hour in the sun to place an order is too long yall. It's time to open a second window to take orders quicker. The food was truly sad. :( We ordered an oatmeal cookie (flavorless), the Green Chile bagel sandwich (which wasn't really a bagel? It was a roll and it was super greasy.), a lemonade (so watered down it was basically lightly flavored water), veggie and fish tacos (both of which needed seasoning and were cold, PLUS the veggies on the veggie taco were those pre mixed vegetables kits you buy at the grocery store that come frozen in the bulk section. So soggy, cold and not appetizing.) and an iced coffee which was fine but weak. The location is doing all the heavy lifting for this place, because it is truly stunning. Green trees everywhere and lots of outside space to sit. But with all these negatives, plus lots of up-charging on the menu, we won't be back. Sorry guys, Albuquerque knows good food, and this ain't it.
