Work space. With some eggs and drink

Friendly staff. Easy to sit and work. I had a casual business meeting and the environment worked well for this. Mocha and egg bites are a great combination!

This is not the easiest in and out Starbucks. It's a mess getting into the parking lot because of the Academy and Wyoming traffic. Then once you're in the parking lot it's a nightmare to maneuver around. There are several popular stores which make the congestion horrible. Once you make to the drive they it's easy. The staff is great! They are super friendly and make an outstanding drink. The were quick and efficient and had me on the road again before frustration set in. If I am going to a shop in this area I will return but for an easy pick up, maybe not.

Love this location! Have never had bad service here. Especially today Laura, Esther, Penny and another girl were great and kind and chipper! Made for a great start to my day. Gotta start coming to this location more often!

Setting up my Loom account with the super fast Starbucks Internet!

I am amazed at how fast the Internet is here. I am just getting started on Loom, an app that backs up my photographs. At home, with Frontier in Crownpoint, I spent a 3 hours uploading about 10 pictures. At Whole Foods in Santa Fe (Cerillos), I spent an hour uploading 10 pictures. Here at Starbucks, I spent an hour uploading 70 pictures.

As a Starbucks freak, I gotta say, this is the fanciest, chicest, coolest one in town. If it wasn't clear across town from me I'd be a regular. If you're looking for a Starbucks with great non-Albuquerque atmosphere, this is the place. With all that dark wood and coffee-roasting scent, you almost feel like you're in the Pacific Northwest. :P

Ask for a Chai latte with a (or two) shot and save yourself some $ instead of asking for a dirty chai with an extra shot.

Nice staff, but the wait of 30 minutes & getting the wrong drink at the drive-thru was not worth it.

It's my local coffee shop where they know my name and my order as soon as I walk in. I also love the atmosphere here even though it is often crowded. It's a great place to get some work done, or to meet a friend to chat. Literally the only issue I have with them is their new ordering/card reader system. It's often down, which results in long lines, long waits, and stressed out baristas. Also, their it's tied to their loyalty program, so when I go there and their system is down, I don't get points. Would love it if they went back to the old system! Other than that, Little Bear Uptown is my favorite place to get coffee in Albuquerque.

I was greeted at the door by a customer's very friendly golden lab, best greeting of the day btw. The coffee was as requested without issue. There is only one size (12oz) so I grabbed two since I'm a traveling man today. I like my coffee so needed that spare. Cinnamon rolls can be found but overall this is a coffee shop. Not like grandma's hash slinging eggs over easy, coffee, reading, chatting, and just enjoying the day in general. If I had more time, I would have written some on my dissertation this morning. Cheers to Little Bear for a great vibe!

He's a Yorkie and yes he provides tasks for me related to several medical issues. In fact he is very sensitive to my needs. The owner was confrontational and told me to sit outside, service animal or not. Then she started asking me what she has a right to, but at this point seemed unnecessary. I was on a first date, so I hesitated to say it loud given my first date. Then she snarled at me saying "I'm allowed to ask those questions." If it didn't matter to her if he was a service animal or not, then why the questions? I went back in to get the drinks they forgot to give us, and I showed her his documentation, though not required. She then told me "he's not a service dog!" This may get criticism or kudos, but I fail to see why the owner needed to be so rude and confrontational, especially when I was compliant with her wishes and compliant with the ADA laws. I have been asked the question, "what service does he perform?" at other restaurants, and businesses in Albuquerque without confrontation. They have acted with kindness and professionalism, directed me where to sit, asked for him to sit on the floor, etc. This woman did not and I felt she was purposely confrontational.
