They do a great job. I usually get SnS and it lasts 3+ weeks if I go that long. I've had good luck with several of the technicians as well. I love that they paint on their SnS instead of dipping. It's much more sanitary, it seems. read more

They were the only shop open on Fourth of July. And they took me right away. It's always hard for me to find a nail tech that can you do the coffin shape correctly and the match both hands. My-Lin was patient and took her time with my nails and I was able to relax. I will be coming back! read more

I'm updating this review because I've continued coming to this salon for pedicures and manicures. The girl I see is named Bella, and she is just so sweet and does the best job! I always see her now. I always bring my friends to this salon, and they usually get the other girls who are also fantastic. They remember you and have stopped up selling, by the way. Their gel and polish selection is amazing, and the gel usually stays on me for about a week and a half (I think my nails are just weird). When a new polish collection debuts, I know they will have selections from it because the owner pays attention. I never have a problem with them being too busy. They don't cut too much cuticle, they take their time with you, and they always use brand new out-of-package tools (I know they do, because I've seen them throw them out when they are done, multiple times.) i don't get any other services here, but I see waxing regulars all the time so I assume the other services are great too. And look what Bella did for me for my trip to DisneyWorld! read more

Terrible service..I came in and asked how long is the wait for nails she said 15 min I said OK I'll just get eyebrows and said okay.. So I'm waiting for her to finish up with the person who was done and then someone else gets in the seat and she proceeds to do her nails and I'm like that doesn't make sense to do her nails first when my eyebrows takes less then 5 minutes but the women was obviously idiotic. Usually nail places when done with someone do ur eyebrows then proceed to do another person nails..its about time management and having common sense. You don't make a person wait 20min for eyebrows. read more

I have been going here forever since its literally walking distance from my house. Most of the time all of the technicians do a great job even though there prices are slightly higher than neigbhoring shops. This review is regarding the chrome nails they offer ONLY. I have gotten chrome there twice. This is the only salon I know to offer in such a variety of colors and being that it's my go to salon, I was so joyed to not have to go far for such a unique style. The first time I got them done I got this yellow gold color and they were absolutely beautiful! I recieved so many compliments and they lasted a long time. I got them in Gel. At this salon, gel usually runs $36 since they charge to soak off old gel (many salons in the area do not charge for this service) chrome at that time was an additional $10 so it ended being a total of $46, minus tip. Pretty steep but I was happy with them so I returned. I went back the day after Thanksgiving and the shop was pretty busy. They were not excited that I was asking for chrome as it takes longer (hince the higher price) so it took a while to find a tech that was even willing to do them. Once she started I made the mistake of saying that they are only salon i have been to in the area that offered chrome. Once the HBIC heard me say this she upped the additional charge to $15! I was upset but there was little I can do by this point I paid and left and a week later im left with pretty crummy chipped nails. I ended spending $60 bucks with tip for just a gel polish that didnt even last a week. I dont want to waste more time having them fix them, but im still a big fan of chrome nails. I plan to research other places that offer them and hopefully find a cheaper price. Thd photo is taken 7 days after i got them done. I had an ok experience here. I tried this shop because my normal shop did not have an opening during my lunch break. My nails came out nice appearance wise but really did not last, after about a week and a half I got lots of little cracks on the sides, don't know if you can all it cracks............but the acrylic started to lift a bit, but only on the sides. But never-the-less, fill with gel polish should have lasted longer. So, hmmm, would I try again. Maybe cause shop was nice, staff really friendly and nice. Prices were reasonable. I think I'd ask for a bit thicker coat of product in my fill. I wish I could give 3.5 cause I did like the shop. But for fill with gel polish, I need it to last two weeks and this did not. My top coat also peeled some and for gel products that's a no no. read more

If you're looking for professional customer service, look elsewhere. The women here are rude and dishonest. Prices for the same exact service change depending on who the tech is and they tend to act like they're doing you a favor when in fact you're paying them to provide a service. I listened to one woman literally yell and disrespect a customer who wanted her pedicure done a particular way. The tech yelled that she had been doing pedicures for many years and knew what she was doing as she proceeded to ignore the paying customer's objections. The customer, a little older, obviously embarrassed by the yelling, just resigned and allowed the tech do what the tech wanted to do. It was uncomfortable to watch. The rest of the techs watched seemingly uncomfortable as well. But, not one tech said or did anything in defense of the customer. I'll never return. read more

Overall, a good experience. I walked in on a Sunday around 3pm, no wait. I was sent directly to the back to get my pedicure started. Great job on feet. Then to my gel manicure, she was a little faster then I like but I do not see many imperfections. I also had my brows and lip done. I've gone here a bazillion times, mainly because it's 2 minutes from my house. And every time I walk out, I wonder why I keep going back. There are a few ladies here who do a good job, but most of them just rush you in and out. One time, the woman doing my nails did a horrible job with the polish, getting it all over my fingers, and I actually had to ask her to fix it. Worse service ever!! I came with my mother in law, her mom, my 3 year old daughter to get our nails done they only took my mother in law and me. They completely ignored my daughter and her great grandma, they said once someone was available the will take them, well there were 2 ladies free and still didn't call my family. NEVER COMING HERE AGAIN! My toe was cut and bled when getting the gel polish on my toe nails removed. Then they didn't have the color I decided on and tell me after my finger nail was shaped and filed, then charged me extra $10 to cut my nails down a smidge, then the manicure I received was over coated, thick and unnatural. When I expressed my dislike I was just told it would be extra to fix the nails and I had to inquire about a discount for my inflicted cut. For the prices this place is charging they should be more proactive, neat, and have their ACTUAL inventory on display. If I was charged lower prices I would not complain but I ended up paying $50 for a basic gel pedicure that had no scrub or massage got CUT and upwards the same amount for a horrible manicure. read more

This establishment is clean. The staff are decent. They really do have the most acceptable pedicures and manicures in the area. I like that they've used a fresh set of manicure tools every time I've visited. I wouldn't consider the staff friendly since they tend to point out what else you need to have done. They don't ask if you would like anything else they actually tell you what's wrong and how they can fix it right then and there.This is silly because no one needs to feel like someone else determines what will or won't be added to one's beauty tab. My money, my opinion, and my time are just as valuable as my beauty and so is yours. Be picky. There's always better. read more

Go here if you don't mind being OVER CHARGED!!! The service is okay, not fabulous... but you NEVER pay the advertised price. I went yesterday for a routine pedicure and was asked if I wanted other services; I said no. Also, when I looked down from my iPad she was scrubbing the bottom of my feet with the same green brush she had used to scrub the dirty tub! When I checked out, my $25 pedicure was $35! I asked why $35. And she just said yes, it's $35. This is not the first time I've been over charged here but is typical for this place. Just had a spa pedicure (no color polish because I didn't want any but she used a clear coat) and this place is amazing. Extensive foot scrub, relaxing deep massage, clipped then shaped my nails beautifully, applied a mask treatment, hot towel, and again a deep massage with lotion. Absolutely what I needed after a long day at work. Definitely a lot better than when I used to come a few years ago. Brand new chairs, lots of colors to choose from, and excellent service. My spa pedicure was done by Mary and it cost me $42 without tip. Will be back again :) read more

The people are very friendly but the problem is that they're a little expensive I got a gel pedicure and my eyebrows done and paid $70 and that wasn't including a tip. But I love the way the lady did my toes. Oh also you have to bring cash they don't do tips on cards. Been here several times and they do a great job. Every time I stray somewhere else, I always go back here. They are always on point with my nails, and seem to be perfectionist. My only complaint is the last two gel mani I got chipped badly after a few days, unfortunately I don't have much time to go get it fixed. I love this place. The ladies are super friendly, they are very professional and super clean. Prices are reasonable and they always do a great job, I've never experienced a nail tech rush my nails. The pedicure chairs are pretty updated and the sinks have LED lights. The only reason I gave this place 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the color selection. They're aren't many at the shop. I very recently went to Star Nail Salon for a pedicure and dip powder manicure. My experience, as always, was very pleasant. During this difficult period, with COVID-19 wreaking havoc across the country, I have been a little reluctant to go to my favorite nail salon, but then I decided, my nails were looking wretched, and I had to have my favorite nail technician, Lynne, take care of it. Well, I was extremely pleased to see the extraordinary measures the salon has made to do their very best to make it as safe as possible for both customers and technicians. There has been plexiglass installed between the customer and the technician, and between customers. They have also instituted a policy of limiting the number of customers in the salon at any given time, and has put distance between customers, as they get pedicures, so you are definitely 6 feet away from the nearest person. Additionally, of course, masks are mandatory. Star Nails has definitely got their act together. I highly recommend this establishment! read more

Depending on who is doing it, my girl does a good job. I will definitely recommend. I usually go M-Th. Other days to me are pretty crowded.
