What a great find in Olney! Best Nails is definitely a hidden gem. They may not have the newest massage chairs, offer beverages while you get your nails did, or have a huge color selection, but I can see why they have so many regular customers. Everyone was so welcoming and attentive. This was my first time here and it won't be the last. Prices are very reasonable and they do quality work. Lina did a wonderful job on my pedicure. I like how she took her time and didn't rush. The hot stones were a nice touch as well. My gel manicure was done by another lady (forgot her name- oppss!), who also did a fantastic job. She knew I had to be at dinner by a certain time, so made sure to get my nails done as quickly as possible but still do quality work. Best Nails really disappointed me. I went there once and had such a lovely experience, I decided to go back a couple months later to get my nails done for travel. The person who answered the phone literally hurried me off the phone. She asked for my number and said she would call back. She never did. I made an appointment at another place that was just perfect. My family and I will not be going back to Beth nails, although they're nearby. It is not OK to treat people this way, If you want their business. I'd rather spend my money elsewhere where I feel valued as a customer. read more

I stopped by for a simple manicure today, and really enjoyed the experience. Everyone was surprisingly friendly. They helped me pick two polishes that matched the look I showed them. Lena worked on my nails, and we had a nice chat, and she engaged my daughter who was with me as well. Lena was thorough but worked quickly, which I appreciated. This place is an absolute joke. I was referred to Jacky who I'll give credit to, she gave a great leg and foot massage. And then...it stops. The quality of the chairs was so outdated and sagging. I can move past this if the service was good. It was not. I booked a mani and pedi gel appt. I was called before my appt. on the same day, within an hour of the appt. to clarify my appt. services and then to ask if I could come earlier because "someone just wrote gel". No, I could not come any earlier, my day was filled up with other appts. This seems to be an in-house issue and not my problem. During the entire service, I was told I should really try dip instead of gel. I'm assuming because it's easier and more money. No, that's not what I came for but I quickly found out why they wanted me to dip. The quality of nail and toe painting was horrible. They did not even pain my entire nail on the fingers or toes. I had this done on a Saturday. By Wednesday...no joke...the gel polish on my nails and toes peeled off. I paid $72.00 for this service and tipped her, which never should have happened. Soaked my hands in acetone until they hurt, then she talked me in to the acrylic overlays with gel, no matter how many times I told her I brought my own color, I finally gave in..... Love this nail salon! I think one of the best in Olney. My go to person is Lena, she's so nice and sweet. She always asked about my family especially my kids, which shows she pay attention to her clients. The salon is not fancy but the pedi/mani equipments are clean. They have reasonable price and open 7 days a week so I don't need to rush after work. I always get the gel manicure which last for 3 weeks and the pedicure stone massage is the best, it's so relaxing. Definitely recommend this place! You'll not regret. read more

I've been going here since I moved to Olney, and I love this family-run business. Ann, the owner, is a sweetheart and always tries to fit people in and make things work the best she can. Her sister, Jacky, is also a sweetheart, her niece, Emily, and everyone else they hire - Lena and others. Just good people. Their prices are reasonable, they do a fabulous job, in my opinion, and because of how they treat me and the good job they do, I won't go anywhere else. Highly recommend. I've really never had a bad manicure, pedicure or waxing here - they last forever (probably longer than they'd even like b/c I don't have to come as often), and they relax me completely. This is the BEST nail salon I've ever been to!! The staff here is friendly, caring, and clean! There's a sense of family and community at this salon. I always leave here with a perfect manicure and pedicure, no matter who does my nails! The staff also always takes such great care of my Mom, who has cancer. I usually don't write reviews but I have to for this place. Awful. I got a full set with regular polish. Some nails were crooked and others were thick and uneven. Not even 12 hours after getting them done one nail completely broke off. I went back the next day to get it fixed and the woman who did my nails the first time looked shocked and acted as if it were my fault that her poor work made it fall off. She rushed fixing the nail and would jump back and forth between me and other clients, my nail turned out worse than the first time. It has not even been a week since I got them done and theyve all cracked and I already need a fill. This place is AWFUL. Do not waste your money read more

I would give zero stars if I could. I had an appointment that I was running late for...called and informed them. The minute I walked in with my 2 friends I was immediately "greeted" with a yelling woman saying she could not see us now because we were late. When I begin to tell her that someone one could have told me on the phone or called me she proceeded to argue with me for 20 minutes. When I asked to speak with the manager she said they were in their country for a year -- how can you run a business like that -- When I attempted to talk to another staff member I was yelled at to not talk to her because she does not speak English -- mind you she had just spoke to someone right in front of me in ENGLISH -- Never going back and will no longer refer people there. At no time did she apologize for the confusion or offer to reschedule me - which would have made a world of a difference to this review read more
