THE BEST EVER!! Khoi is Amazing! I always enjoy the service that I receive here! I've been coming here for over 4 years now.
I am so sad, I came for a Pedicure and a Full set for my birthday. I've been coming here since I was in Middle school and now I'm 22, and they've never messed me up till today. I asked for a Hibiscus flower design on my toes and my hands, they couldn't get it right, and I told them I didn't like it after I saw them. 2 of the ladies then got mad at me because I didn't say anything sooner, which I understand, I struggle with anxiety thats why I hesitated. They yelled at me and almost made me cry. I told them to just leave it but they insisted on fixing it but I ended up just giving up on my hands because they couldn't do the flowers. They charged me $125 for the entire service. Sadly, I don't think I'll come back again. (The reference has 5 sides while they only gave me 3..)
I love Paula and Khoi downnnnnn! They deserve more than 5 They really take good care of their clients and will not let you leave unsatisfied. 10/10 definitely RECOMMEND!

Koi has never failed to provide me with paragon service, nail designs that are up to par with the latest trends, and customer service that is frankly a paucity in this day and age. I enjoy the therapeutic moments spent there and love my long-lasting manicure! Check him out!
This place was cool till it wasn't. If you do decide to go here don't let this guy do your nails. He is despicable. I called in and let them know I was running late and asked if it was okay to still come - if so I could've went to another salon. This guy said no problem, you can still come. I got here and he starts my nails immediately and I noticed he was rushing a bit but I figured he knows what he's doing, it's okay. He COMPLETELY loses his patience when it came to finding the right color (which was due to him again trying to rush vs understanding what I was asking for), then ends up telling me he can't do my nails anymore and to come back tmrw. I wasted my time and he took off my tips with the quickness. It took everything inside of me not to go off cause I already had a long day. If you respect yourself, don't let this rude guy do your nails.
I'm giving 2 stars because I appreciate that they took me without an appointment on a Saturday morning and that they only charged $5 for a gel polich removal. The first woman who was assigned to help me was kind and competent. However, after she wrapped my nails in the foil, she was reassigned to a new client by somone who seemed to be the boss. Despite the first woman telling me that it was a slow morning, and despite her telling the second woman that my nails needed to soak longer, the second woman immediately took off the foil anyway. She started scratching at my nails with a file and now my nails have scratch marks on them. She got most but not all of the polish off and then told me to go wash my hands. At the sink station, there was a sticky pole device that was absolutely covered in flies and gnats. I also saw 2 ants crawling around the sink. The first woman's station had been clean, but the second woman's station had two open spilled drinks next to it. The drinks were removed when I sat there but the spills remained next to my arm as she worked. In sum: convenient, amazing price, quality really depends on technician (and it may change halfway through), and not as clean as most salons I've visited.

I have been going to Khoi since 2018, and I can honestly say he is the best! I've been a loyal client for years because he does absolutely fantastic nails every single time. First time trying this nail salon and I'll be back. Clean and friendly atmosphere! I got a fill in by Khoi and a pedicure (not sure of the lady's name) and they both showed great attention to detail. I only gave it 4 stars since I had to wait over 15 min even though I had an appointment (I went on a Wednesday). But that happens at beauty salons so no biggie. I do not recommend la lu'a NAIL & SPA business. I've come here several times over the last 6 years. I do not come consistently because they are an out of the way location (25 miles away from Home)and ridiculously expensive. However after my last experience on 07/09/25 with a gel polish service I would not recommend anyone to spend money here. My gel polish was $20 just for gel polish not even for a manicure. Just for gel polish ! I also got a pedicure and toes polished with regular polish. Unfortunately the gel polish started lifting, chipping and peeling less than 24 hours later. Got my nails done on 7/2/25 at 2pm and my left middle finger nail polish layer was lifting from my natural nail by 07/03/25. The quality of the polish they use is absolutely cheap. I went on vacation 07/03/25 so I could not get back to the states until 7/09/25 to return to La la'u to get the issue addressed. Well when I went back 07/09 to ask them to fix the issue they tried to say my tech was on vacation and I would have to wait until she returned on Saturday 3 days later on 07/11. The staff a coco skinned lady in chair ()and the lady in chair ()told me that I was suppose to come back by the 2nd or 3rd day to tell them. Sorry but I'm not coming back early from vacation for lifting gel polish. They tried to make me pay for a nail polish change. Which I do not feel is the issue. The issue is the product. The nail techs that I spoke to were cutting me off while I was trying to tell them the issue, not friendly at all and did not want to allow me to speak. They were very short with me. DO NOT GET SERVICES HERE. When I asked for the manger they told me they did not have one. Which maybe true. The lady in chair () told me to come back in 1 hour 3:45pm So I'm gonna sit this here with the patrons. I will wait for the staff to fix the issue hopefully by 07/09/25 and in the meantime I will give potential patrons and current patrons an update to let you know how this was resolved. I feel like if I paid $20 to get my nails polish with gel products then it should last more than 24 hours. I work way too hard for my money to be treated as they did and to be provided poor products and terrible service. Shame on you La Lu'a NAILS & SPA Location 11921GEORGIA AVE. read more

If I could give this place zero stars I would. It's disgusting in the salon, the materials don't come out of the sterilized bags and the customer service is terrible. A guest arrived at 7:15pm and the sign says they close at 8pm. They turned the guest away because they're "closed" and all she wanted was a polish change. Eventually these salons need to learn guests won't tolerate their poor customer service. read more

I've been going to Khoi for about 6 years now. I moved back from Texas and resumed going to him. He's quick and talented. He's always able to do whatever design I request. The nails last and never break. I always get so many compliments on my nails. I'll continue to drive the 30 miles to go to the shop. Everything they use is quality. read more

This is the best nail salon I have ever been to! I have been getting my nails done since I was 16 and I am almost 39 so I have been to a lot of different places. Khoi does amazing work. I am attaching all the pictures I could find. Zoom into the pictures and you can see attention to detail. The work done by Khoi is flawless and he can make any design come to life. And the application is amazing because I can get multiple fills out of a new set. I don't have words to say how glad I am to have found this salon! read more

Stoked to have found my go-to nail salon! I had a technician named Misty who does an incredible job with massages but her free hand skills on nail designs are a bit shaky. Nonetheless, I still loved my nails and how they came out. This salon is much more affordable compared to others in the area. I believe I paid $25 for a gel manicure and $45 for a regular pedicure whereas my previous salon I was paying nearly $100 for the same services. Parking is super convenient as there's a private lot right in front of the store. During COVID times, I would highly recommend an appointment or to call ahead of time to see if you can walk in (if they're busy or not). read more

$70 to remove my old set and get these amazingly done new sets? Yes pls. I walked in because my old set was getting too long, and one of them actually broke in half. I honestly didn't have high expectations when I called them to get my set redone, because I just needed a simple fix. First of all, when I walked in, the guy in the last row called me over to his table right away. And secondly, this place is clean and spacious! I didn't have to squeeze my way in to see the guy at the very back row unlike most nail salons I've been to. I briefly explained what I wanted done, and he got to work right away. P.S. if he asks "do you want the glow in the dark?" For any of your sets, SAY YES. You will not regret it. I'm definitely coming back again Thank you! read more

I've been coming to this salon for the past 9 years and some months. I love Koi so much love watching his growth as an artist over the years as well as the salon as a whole. Very clean the bathroom is always clean they have ALOT of colors to pick from and a lot of other great nail techs to work with. His wife Kelly is great with waxes too! Pedicures are always amazing. I suggest making an appointment if you can they are very popular and weekends Friday Saturday Sundays they are always super busy. read more

Lalu'a Nails is awesome! I started coming here about a year ago after being dissatisfied with my prior salon and I'm so glad I switched. The service is excellent. The prices are reasonable and they can proficiently perform any type of nail services including exotic and unique designs. When it comes to quality services, cleanliness, affordability and BEYOND exceptional customer service (all things I highly value when choosing businesses to support and spend my hard earned money), it's very rare to find ALL of these components in one establishment. I personally guarantee that you will always walk out of here a valued customer, beyond satisfied, taken care of, and feeling your absolute best. I am a very, very particular person in general. Especially when it comes to allowing someone else to execute my precision of beauty needs such as nails, toes, hair, brows, etc. I have struggled over the years to find a place as such but here, there's no question, my preferences are heard and carried out to PERFECTION every single time. This isn't a "sometime" thing - I come in once, if not twice a month and have been going here for years now and they NEVER falter. So when I say Lalu'a is the ONLY place I will go to for my nails/toes/brows, that speaks volumes about this place. More importantly, not only is this a relaxing, clean, and lovely establishment, it is comprised of a respectful, nice team of employees - everyone and I mean EVERY single person here, is great at what they do! I met some girls who had amazing nail designs and they recommended this place. I came on a Tuesday afternoon and was able to get seated in 10 mins. Pros: the ambiance and décoré of the salon is a 10/10. Very clean and modern. They were able to replicate a design from a Pinterest photo and verified what I wanted for each nail. Overall I was happy with my nails at the end. I would give it another try but also want to find something closer to my home. CON: pricing seemed made up, I asked if they had a pamphlet or list of services to get an idea of the right range granted that I was getting designs and ombré combination I knew it might be more. They weren't able to provide a list of services or written done prices. Then when I was seated o was told I had to get powder bc ombré wasnt possible with gel. As for the the manicure the only thing that was done before she started painting was filing of my nails. There was no cuticle cleaning of sorts involved and I thought that was strange. read more
AMBIANCE Super spacious and clean environment. There's a bunch of nail techs working at once too so the wait isn't too bad, but would highly recommend making an appointment as they do get busy. There are waiting chairs in the front. The chairs in which you get your manicures done are super comfy too, which is always a plus. Went in on a Thursday evening and it was packed. SERVICE Even though we got here one hour before closing, they were still able to fit us in. The lady even said I could do acrylics even though they are more time consuming. My sister also got her nails done at the same time and the techs were all very skilled. I was able to finish my dip gel acrylics in 20 minutes and my sister was also done before the hour was up. As they were close to closing, the service was slightly rushed, but both techs stayed overtime to finish our nails (along with some other techs that were finishing up as well.) The only con I can note is that I noticed afterwards that some parts of my cuticle were not cleaned up entirely, but that's w/e. Another thing is one of my nails on my right hand was hurting a little when the tech was cleaning up the acrylic, but it turns out the cuticle was cut too deep and there was minor bleeding, but nothing too bad. OVERALL For the allotted time, the techs did a tremendous job and I will be definitely coming back. Fun tip: there's a glow in the dark choice for dip gel, which my sister ended up getting and it looks super cool. read more

I got my nails with Khoi today! I chose a picture from Pinterest and he made it his own. I absolutely love my nails and I felt so comfortable in this salon! Everyone seems so friendly and professional. Already made my next appointment, as he does book up weeks in advance! I recommend this salon and him to everyone! read more

I'm surprise they have a 4 star review They are very rude, it very funny that I understand what they say, yes I am Vietnamese. While I was waiting to get my nails done one of the lady in the back by the sink told another worker go tell that lady we close at 4pm, I walked in around 4:30pm but the gentleman that did my nails told her don't do that he will do my nails. I got a gel full set and it cost me 50 dollars which I think was pretty expensive. I am in Maryland visiting family but the employee do talk crap about their customers Just saying :( very disappointed. read more

Are you still taking walk-ins?
They are currently taking walk-ins but I highly do not recommend this as the wait can be hours on a busy day. If it's a slower day, you may be able to get away with this. Hope this helps!

I have never made an appointment. I just walk in and am accommodated. Haven't had any issues yet.
