Excellent service and excellent coffee! This is a local business which is women run. I ordered some donuts and coffee here. They took extra care to make sure my coffee was exactly how I liked it with the right amount of cream, coffee and ice. It was almost like my mom was making coffee for me. Local family owned donut store what also has small grill offerings. It's tucked away in the corner of a strip mall facing the highway, so parking is no issue. Plenty of room. The seating is all slightly uncomfortable not quite ergonomic booths. They'll be just fine for a coffee and a sweet-or a light breakfast/lunch, but not someplace you'll want to hang out all day at. While they do have a small menu of grilled food-sausage/bacon/egg items the focus here is the donuts. Oddly enough finding good donuts in the bay area isn't as easy as other places, and here they nail it. The larger items like long johns, fritters, cinnamon rolls etc run over a dollar but the basics are around a buck each. Coffee and a sweet can be had for less then five bucks, and a meat/egg sandwich will run around five, so this can be quite the cost effective choice. All in all it's a decent no frills donut stop. read more

I came in on a Sunday afternoon near their closing and a lot of stuff had sold out. I grabbed a bunch of donuts and was informed that I needed a $10 minimum to use my card. I love the coffee at donut shops! They always seem to get infused with all the sweetness from the surrounding donuts. Like Sonny L. said, this isn't the glitziest of places to grab your morning fix, but it gets the job done. I ordered a medium coffee for $1.25 (they don't accept debit/credit cards) and it was pretty much self service. Grabbed my own cup, poured myself some French vanilla roast (they also have regular, decaf, and French roast), and headed over to pour myself some milk and sugar from two giant containers. They've also got donuts (duh), sandwiches, soda, sliced fruit, yadda yadda, stuff donut shops usually have. For $1.25, this cup of coffee definitely beats whatever McDonalds is spitting out and calling coffee just a few steps down. Do yourself a favor if you are grabbing coffee, skip the watered down and burnt McDonalds coffee, and follow the Star-Lights to make your morning that much better. read more
