This place is an overall disappointment. And the time you walk in it doesn't look very clean the staff although they are courteous are not very friendly and don't communicate very well with customers. Additionally V donuts are not very tasty nor do they taste fresh. Parking in this location is also not safe at all.

Excellent service and excellent coffee! This is a local business which is women run. I ordered some donuts and coffee here. They took extra care to make sure my coffee was exactly how I liked it with the right amount of cream, coffee and ice. It was almost like my mom was making coffee for me. I will be back here to try their sandwiches! Due to COVID you can't eat inside the restaurant but takeaways are available. The staff was wearing masks and social distancing was enforced. I highly recommend this place!

The glazed twist was good, but it was priced a little high. The ladies at the register were friendly.

Best donuts! Always fast and ready. Staff are chill too. Little pricey for a dozen donuts but it's worth it and I get it.

I've been here a long time ago and think it was the original building / location during that visit. On this visit, my nephew and I were in the area, grabbing dinner and thought it would be really fun to stop by this spot for dessert. Also, Alysa Liu just got the gold medal in the Olympics and I was swelling with East Bay pride. When we got there, the place was really busy. Although we were able to get seated right away because people were mainly ordering ice cream at the front counter. The room where we were seated it's pretty large and bright. It was a fun and active vibe in there. Our waitress showed up and I wanted to get some crazy concoction and I can't remember exactly what I got, but it was one of the banana sundaes. My nephew ended up just getting two scoops in an ice cream dish. We both enjoyed our ice cream and I was telling my nephew about my experiences growing up in the East Bay a little bit and how this place was immortalized and one of my favorite movies 'Up'. Overall, just a great time with delicious ice cream and great, friendly service. They have their own parking lot, but I was able to find some street parking right across the street from the location. I would just warn you, however, that when you're parking on the street, try to not keep anything of value visible.

They also have several vegan/non-dairy options for others too. Most of their non-dairy are actually cashew based, which is interesting to try. Would definitely drop by again if in the area.

Came in on a Sunday night with a big group. The employee would forget which flavors we wanted and rudely asked for all of us (who already got our ice cream) to leave the space as it was getting too crowded. Fair ask, yes. The way it was delivered? Just rudely said with a bad tone too. I also got charged for my ice cream when one of my friends had already paid for mine in front of me. I went to have it reversed, and he was saying how my friend paid for 6 singles and I got a junior size then there was nothing to be reversed. If anything we paid twice and for the wrong size. I get that it may have been confusing especially with big groups and long lines but it could have been handled more professionally.

I'm fully prepared to be that person at the store, scooping straight out of the container instead of bothering with a cup or cone I tried Pink Jesus, Matcha Snickerdoodle, Vietnamese Coffee, and Honey Graham Cracker. I wasn't quite sure what to expect from Pink Jesus, but it ended up being a pleasant surprise. It's a blend of lavender and raspberry, with the lavender coming through more strongly, floral but not overwhelming. The Matcha Snickerdoodle and Vietnamese Coffee were both bold and very true to their flavors. You can immediately tell what you're eating, which I loved. The Honey Graham Cracker, though, was a bit too sweet for my taste.

I'm not a big strawberry ice cream girl, but had MULTIPLE bites. We saw them make the waffle bowl in front of us and I've never had a waffle bowl before, so this could be a "me" thing, but it wasn't as crispy as I was expecting it to be. But my boyfriend seemed to like it. My affogato was more of a coffee with a scoop of melted ice cream. They brewed TWO *DOUBLE SHOTS* and poured them in a 16 ounce cup w 1 scoop of ice cream. If you get an affogato, ask for it deconstructed so you can control the amount of espresso/coffee.

The only issue is there's no clear menu posted online, so we walked in completely blind. Their website shows a long list of flavors but not what they actually have that day, so it felt like a guessing game. The line moved really slow because there was only one employee handling everything. She was taking orders, giving samples, answering questions, and ringing people up all at once. She was super friendly and doing her best, but it felt like a lot for one person during a rush and the shop could definitely use more help. The space is really small and tight so it was hard to even see the flavors until we got close to the front. When we finally got up there, a lot of the tubs were already empty which was confusing since most ice cream shops restock. Some flavors I wanted weren't available anymore, and if they're out it would make more sense to just remove them from display. The dirty containers didn't make sense to display. I sampled the jasmine green tea and knew right away I wanted it. It was creamy with a smooth tea flavor that wasn't overpowering. I got a small with half jasmine green tea and half avocado. The avocado was surprisingly really good, super creamy and tasted like a fresh avocado smoothie. Both flavors weren't overly sweet which I liked. My husband wanted cookies and cream but it was sold out so he got chocolate chip instead, which was solid and creamy with good texture. Overall the ice cream itself was good, not the best I've had but definitely not bad. I like that the flavors lean more natural and not overly sweet. I could see myself coming back if I'm in the area, but the experience would be a lot better with faster service and more consistency with what's actually available.
