She also does eyelashes extensions, she has one of those special equipment from Japan and I believe no one else in this island has. I received the best face and body massage I ever have. Kiyoko is the owner and she very professional and experienced. I love her because she explained everything that she does for me and also always check on me. She can adjust the pressure depend on your pain level that you can handle. Fist impressing walking in to the massage room was so relaxing because of the decoration and the beautiful plumeria wall picture. Even her decoration in the restroom was so pretty. Her massage was so great that I kind of falling sleep. I told her that the most hard part of my body is the shoulder due to my stress at work. She focus on massage that part of the body the most. On the recommendation of a trusted friend, I went to see Kiyoko at Star Beauty Room in Waikiki. I am all about facials and massages and always willing to try a reputable spa. Her room is located inside of Aqua Nail on Seaside Avenue across from Ross'. There is a private lot for the building and she validates parking. When I arrived, I filled out a couple of forms and she asked me what kind of pressure I preferred for my massage. I also picked out an aromatherapy oil at this time. The massage by Kiyoko exceeded my expectations! The pressure she used was perfect. To be honest, I was quite surprised how strong she is. I also liked that she made sure to check with me how I liked the pressure. She was discreet the entire time and I felt very comfortable. I was trying very hard not to fall asleep even as she was working out the terrible knots I have - that's how relaxing it was. I then flipped over for my one hour Brilliance Facial, which is a basic facial plus the use of microcurrent and LED light therapy. The microcurrent took a little getting used to, but it's not painful nor does it require any down time. Usually when I get extractions done, it's not a relaxing experience but Kiyoko uses a machine that suctions the impurities so it doesn't hurt one bit. The facial was absolutely dreamy and felt wonderful. My skin felt plump and hydrated and looked visibly improved. I was truly impressed. I have been to many spas for facials and none of them are even close to my experience with Kiyoko. I have been more concerned with my skin the last 2-3 yrs and have been paying more attention to my daily routine. I spend so much money on skincare products. I made an appointment by a recommendation of a trusted friend. First of all, there is parking and she validates! Her room is in a nail salon. Her room is very clean and quiet. You cannot smell the polish from the salon. Kiyoko is very humble and a true professional. Very easy to speak to, and a very sweet person. She is the kind of person you would like to be your massage therapist or esthetician. Initially, I had to fill out forms for her records. It asks health questions, as well. When ready for massage, she gives you instructions, steps out, and you can prepare. Oh, did I say, the clean restroom is right outside her room! Certainly a plus! I am not a regular massage patient anywhere. If deciding how to budget for the month, a massage is normally not on the list. In any case, I was very much impressed with her strength, as she is petite. And, it wasn't ticklish! She is very polite and easy to communicate with. She puts your needs first. Next was the facial. My friend recommended Kiyoko because she knows how much I love deep tissue massages. Don't let her sweet demeanor fool you...she is incredibly strong, which was great for me! I left feeling like I was on cloud 9. So a little bit about the location...her place is inside a nail salon and I was a little concerned because it says there are cats in there and I am allergic to cats but I was not affected at all. I have tried different types of massages and facials but Kiyoko's style is like nothing I've experienced before. The massage felt like a combination of lomi lomi, shiatsu, and deep tissue styles. She hit the right spots and although her strength could be intense (in a good way), I still managed to find myself nearly nodding off..it was so relaxing. Following the massage, she continued with a fabulous facial incorporating new technologies (ultrasonic and LED equipment) which were painless and effective - not like previous painful blackhead removals. What an experience! Today I went to see Kiyoko for a detox body massage and a brilliance facial. It was absolutely the best I've ever had! Kiyoko is extremely knowledgeable about the body, muscles, and skin. Her technique and skills are honed by many years of training and experience. She was able to use different pressures in different areas to release knots in my muscles. I was amazed that she was able to do this without much pain to me. The massage was very thorough and addressed muscles I didn't even know I had. I was impressed by Kiyoko's strength and ability to keep the pressure constant for such a long period. She has incredible stamina. After the massage, I had a brilliance facial. This was also a wonderful experience. She used a variety of techniques and high tech machines as well as lotions and gels. She even included a face massage and head massage. I've never had such a complete experience before. She worked on my whole body from head to toe. I'm a newbie to the world of facials and massages and now I know what I've been missing! Kiyoko had been highly recommended by a friend and I needed to destress from a crazy week so I booked an appointment. The location was easy to find (right across Ross on Seaside) with a private parking lot. Once inside, you wouldn't even know you're in the middle of Waikiki! Her studio is so relaxing. After asking questions about my preferences, skin sensitivities, etc, Kiyoko went to work. Her deep tissue/detox massage was AMAZING! She was careful to make sure that I was comfortable and that the pressure was just right - and it was! She gave extra attention to my shoulders and lower back where I carry stress. Next, the Brilliance Facial! Like I said, I'm a newbie to facials so I didn't know what to expect going in. Kiyoko explained about the equipment and products she uses, and asked a variety of questions about my skin, to customize the perfect facial experience. We went with the anti-aging facial, which included microcurrent/LED, extraction, a facial massage (didn't know there was such a thing!) to reduce my puffiness and a mask. I was referred to Kiyoko at Star Beauty Room by a friend who is all about pampering. She loved her experience so I made an appointment to have a Detox Massage (90 mins) and Brilliant Facial (60 mins). To make my appointment I sent a request on the webpage and she quickly confirmed by text. Kiyoko is located in the building across from Ross Dress for Less on Seaside Avenue so it's easy to find and there is ample validated parking. Upon arrival she thoroughly explained what to she would be doing for the massage and facial and asked about my expectations. The Detox massage was excellent. She applied the pressure I was comfortable with and focused on my "problem" areas. Because this was a detox massage in addition to the shiatsu and lomi lomi, there was some mild tissue twisting and kneading. It was uncomfortable at times but she constantly checks to be sure you are okay with the pressure. I was a bit sore when I left but felt relaxed and even better the next day. The Brilliant facial was very unique. She did the facial procedures (cleanse, ultrasonic extraction, moisturize and painless LED stimulation) but also massaged my face (unique part). She explained this in the beginning but it was very different from any facial I've had in the past. Again some uncomfortable pressure and squeezing but she checks with you to be sure your okay.
