Just visited the new spa down the street and had the most relaxing facial and massage combo! The place was spotless, the staff were incredibly professional, and I left feeling completely refreshed and rejuvenated!

Amazing and friendly staff. Located inside building on the 7th floor. Upon arrival they greet you with soaking your feet and giving them a good rinse. I had a couples massage it was nice and relaxing .

When I arrived, no one was in the office where the business is located. I called the number listed on their business page several times before finally getting an answer. The person showed up 20 minutes late. She had us wait in a building with no A/C. She was rushing around the office and tried to start the session immediately. She was going to be the one giving the massage to both of us? And where were the decorations??? We walked out of that building right away. Extremely disappointed--this ruined my plans for my boyfriend's 30th birthday.

I decided to opt for the 70 minutes service and arrived promptly at the appointment time. It was located in a building on the 29th floor with a bunch of other spa businesses with similar rates of $60 for 60 minutes massages. The interior was not modern looking at all (there was popcorn ceiling all around) and the scent of the place wasn't the most aromatic or pleasant. The masseuse gave me a hybrid Thai and Swedish massage. Parts of it were painful and uncomfortable when the masseuse stepped on my back and literally put all of her weight on me. I told the masseuse that some of the massage movements were painful and she adjusted accordingly to different techniques. After the massage session was completed, my +1 and I were proceeding to the lobby and was offered two complimentary cups of cold water. As we were paying for the massage services, the staff (also my masseuse) provided the $120 price and said directly that this amount doesn't include tip. First off, that was an unnecessary comment and unprofessional. Then as we were giving the cash to tip the two masseuses (she was one of them), the masseuse said give me $20 for the other masseuse and $20 for me. Not only was it completely awkward and uncomfortable, but the audacity! We didn't tip the amount as she demanded since it was insincere and completely uncalled for. Sadly, I don't plan to return at all. Just a fair warning to others considering this place for a massage.

The parking structure is difficult to find but located toward the back of the building. The ambiance with soft & serene music could be heard melodically throughout the spa & stunning with the beautiful array of hanging flowers that mirrored the title in its name of Elegance and beauty. Upon arrival we had to use the bathroom first which was outside and upstairs in the building. I want to put in a good word for Dustin who was most helpful providing excellent customer service with escorting us to the bathroom to show us the location. I was fortunate with having him do my hot stone massage as well. The professionalism and personable demeanor as well as having very skillful hands with the accommodations of pressure provided the most relaxing massage. The hot stones were a nice addition. Being a mom to a toddler having these nice vacation breaks are so important and valuable. Excited to return and try the different massages offered.

We ended up finding street parking not too far away though. They were so welcoming when we arrived. The place was clean and the decor was nice. They walked us into the room, allowed us time to change (never rushing us even though we were late), and still gave us the full 50 minutes. We both like a lot of pressure and they definitely accommodated our requests. My fiancé has had a bad knot near his neck and they really worked on it to try to relieve his pain. He said it felt much better after he left. We were so happy that we purchased the Groupon. Sometimes they can be hit or miss, but this one definitely HIT!

She really worked out a lot of the tension in my shoulders and neck. She hits the trigger points well to get the initial muscle release and then gets in there to work out the rest of the tension. She is super thorough and spent a decent amount of time on my head too, which I appreciated. Basic kind of ambiance but easy parking, clean and comfy rooms. Reasonable pricing, easy booking.

However, if you want a solid massage in a studio that's convenient and clean, I think you'll like Island Therapy. I've been seeing Mai for about a year. She's a very skilled massage therapist -- don't let her small frame fool you, she's strong and really knows how to work out knots. She's also an intuitive therapist; she always seems to know exactly where I'm hurting. I should mention that Mai's massages lean therapeutic rather than relaxing, so if you're looking for something more soothing, let her know beforehand. I have an old injury, and her massages have made a real difference -- I used to have a constant, dull ache, but since seeing her once a month, I haven't had any issues. Booking is done through text, and I usually hear back within 20-30 minutes -- very convenient. I also think her prices are very reasonable, especially given her level of skill. I once saw a massage therapist who charged $350 for a two-hour massage -- great massage, but not sustainable long-term. Island Therapy's prices are reasonable enough that I can keep up with monthly massages. As for the space, the office is in a nondescript building, After you book your massage they'll send you instructions on entering the secured building. Parking is free and convenient.
