Customer service is consistently good. I especially appreciate their assistance with the copy and scanning machines.

I stopped by the print services on two different occasions today. The girl behind the counter that does the graphic design has absolutely NO customer service. Disregards humanities safety by not only not enforcing WA state mask mandate with patrons. Staff observed a patron REMOVE her mask to have a discussion with another that was not wearing a mask at all. Not ONE EMPLOYEE asked the patron to put on her mask, despite staff knowing her by name. I want to support our economy, but everyone needs to do their part to help get us through this pandemic by wearing a simple mask, over MOUTH AND NOSE. Beware if you are immunocompromised, high-risk or want to be part of the solution at eradicating the pandemic, DO NOT SHOP THIS STORE. I do not feel safe shopping stores that ignore blatant common sense health mandates. As for employers, if you observe disruptive behavior or verbal or physical assault by non masked people, call the police for assault. I'm sure our local judicial system would love to hold people accountable for endangering the public. read more

I've had to go here and make copies, fax stuff, ect. The staff is always helpful and friendly. I wouldn't buy products here over Walmart because things here are expensive. But the department that handles the copies and sending of stuff is great!! read more

Picked up ink and the check out lady completely ignored me while she visited with coworker. Got her attention and she spent more time trying to get me to sign up for their rewards. She took the ink out of security package and handed to me and then only rung up my paper. I was honest and asked about the $85 ink and she just "oops oh yea". Realized I bought the wrong one. Went back. Same lady. Again ignored me as I walked up to the counter. Said they don't accept returns with box being opened which I showed the ink was all completely sealed. She didn't care and was kinda rude about it even. Wow considering she was about to give it to me for free initially. I get it the box was opened but all they had to do was glue the flap and good as new. I glued it and took it to staples in tri cities and they accepted it. Employees at the staples in Walla Walla are lazy and rude. I've shopped there a few times and experience has always been poor. Should I have just kept the ink she tried not charging me for and laughed if she got fired over it. She will give ink away for free but not give refunds on perfectly intact product. If staples in tri cities accepted the return absolutely no reason the one here shouldn't have. Will not step foot instaples here again. Walmart is cheaper and accepts returns open or not but I happened to be on eastgate side of town. Fortunately I had to go to tri cities so was able to return the ink and get my $85 back. read more

This review is for Staples 14 day return policy for computer purchases. We bought a laptop for one of our children for Christmas. The sales associate was told it was for Christmas. The purchase was made on Black Friday, 11/23. Christmas is obviously OUTSIDE of the 14 day return period the associate I talked to on the phone told me about. The fact that we could not possibly return the item if we were dissatisfied by it is incredible! The associated was adamant that we could not return the computer. We try to buy local when possible. Situations like this are very frustrating, especially when we have not ever had a return issue with Amazon... Despite calling the store, the Staples Customer Service number and the on-line chat, there was no way around this for even in store credit. The 14 day return policy is an important detail that the assisting sales associate should have told us in order to "assist" with the satisfaction of the purchase. BEWARE OF BLACK FRIDAY PURCHASES in 2019 and beyond at STAPLES. _______________________ We heard back from a Customer Satisfaction Specialist who said we COULD return Black Friday purchases. I updated my review from 1 to 3 stars accordingly since the misinformation that 2 associates gave us was corrected. Below is an excerpt from her e-mail. "Our holiday return policy clearly states anything purchased from November 18th - December 24th can be returned until January 12th. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE! I purchased a laptop from them (Lenovo Ideapad 100 series) only to have it break literally in the first 15 minutes after I got it. I returned the computer to the store only to have it eventually work after which they did not run any diagnostics on my machine. A couple weeks later my computer became unusable after a windows 10 automatic update. Staples was unable to fix my computer AGAIN and I had to install a new copy of windows from a flash drive that I had lying around. My computer ran into the same problem a third time which at this point it seemed pointless to try and save my computer so I threw it off a building, smashed it with a hammer and ran it over with my car..... read more

Bought a new Dell Inspiron 3650 from Staples Walla Walla. They didn't have the right memory in stock, so I paid for it and they said they'd ship it to my home. When I got home I discovered the GeForce 730 had been swapped out for a low end no name graphics card, and the memory they shipped wasn't correct - it was 2 x 4GB, taking up both slots in the machine, and it came with 1 x 8GB. They should have sold me 1 x 8GB. The only conclusion I can draw is that there are dishonest employees at the store. For the sake of a quiet life I just went ahead and ordered a new graphics adapter on amazon, but it's the last time I'll buy anything from Staples. read more

This is the only office store in town, so they dont really care about customer service. Several times i have gone in and they only have 1 cashier. They had 9 people in line today and only one cashier. I asked if anyone else was working and he said they are busy in other areas. The cashier line was the only one who needed help. The first Sunday after school starts and they didnt schedule more people? Also the bathroom, the first stall didnt lock or have a hanger for your purse, like i want to put my purse on the ground, and the second handicap stall didnt flush. I thjink ill stick to ordering off amazon hte next time i need something. read more

People refuse to help me in electronics, too busy. People have told me to go to the print counter to check out because the check out line guy is too busy to help me. The print counter was too busy to help me as well and refused to help me check-out. And by the time I was done at the print counter, the guy at the cash register and redirected me to the print counter, had several customers in line and was checking them out. I walked out of the store. My friend and I went another day. Someone again in electronics, a guy, too busy to help my friend with a questions because the cuter, younger female was looking thru stuff. And when she was done, the store employee walked out of the area. I will not shop here and I will tell 20 people of my experience. read more

I visited here a few weeks ago when I needed some basic office supplies. I cannot say I saw anything that made it "pop" more than any other office supply store. To get me to give a 4 or star rating? Try special in-store specials that you would only get by visiting? Just a suggestion... Still I'll probably be back. They are a great place for office supplies =) read more

There should be zero stars!! I am NOT a complainer, but this business has the WORST service I have ever recieved in my entire life!!! Specifically the copy center !! The print center personel is slow and unmotivated and rude. Three weeks later I am still waiting for my print job. Many phone calls to me from the store with no changes. If your time is important or you have a deadline of any sort don't even bother!! read more
