I've received awful service from businesses before, what transpired at the Staples this evening can't even be classified as service. I pulled up to the back exit at 8:56 PM and the doors were already locked. I then got back in my car and drove around to the front to see that the doors were also locked at in the front at 8:59 PM. The general manager of one of my locations was already inside versus helping him print off I had sent him your employees instead, we're rushing him out the door offering no aid. my annual spend at Staples is in the thousands of dollars. i'm including my customer number so you can date the amount of money I spent in your business #3640603969. I usually go to the location off of Midlothian Turnpike. I have always received amazing service there. I will not be returning to that location or any other until I hear from someone in the corporate office. I am embarrassed to even my general manager to go over there and he experienced this complete lack of customer service in regard for the customer. Not only where the door is locked prior to closing time but then they're rushing people out. Once it, customer is in the doors, shouldn't they be allowed to finish the transaction? I really feel the need to share my experience. I took a total of 22 images that I had drawn - original art - to be copied at Staples. Not only was the completed order incorrect (for several reasons) but they LOST 4 of my original art works! LOST them!!! It took multiple calls to management and days to finally get some assistance on the issue. The managers seemed content to say, "I'll check on that and call you tomorrow." I waited 3 days (on two occasions) for a response that never came. I had a working deadline - which came and went - and lost work that I can not replicate. Shame on Staples. This is a cautionary tale. Be careful what you entrust to them. Regard for customer items seems very low. I will. not be using them again as a printing service. read more

I dealt with different staff and I have to say this is the Best Print Shop ever. The staff was courteous, extremely helpful to me and all with a smile. I am do impressed. read more

I use this Staples all the time for returns, printing, and shopping - I am there weekly. I love it! Everyone is polite and helpful. They make the return process easy and quick and I haven't met anyone that has been rude or unhelpful. There are plenty of rude customers so I want to leave this review to stick up for the employees who have ALWAYS done a good job. read more

Came in for a quick photo copy and lamination. March 12th at 530-6 pm The older black man that I spoke with had an attitude when I asked him if they did lamination . He saw me standing at the counter for a few minutes before he came over to help . There were no other customers in the area that he was working. I'm not exactly sure what the problem was . I overheard him complaining about locking himself out of the computer system and needing to have a new password, coworker came over to help him right away. I thought that would fix his attitude but he was still pretty miserable to interact with. Everyone else that I interacted with in the store was super friendly I'm not exactly sure what his problem is. Other than the one girl who works in the printing area, most of the employees here are fairly useless. Everything takes so much longer than it should, their printers, copiers, supplies are either broke or dirty. This is the closest one to where I live, so I try to just suck it up. More often than not, this place does not have the best customer service. They have what I need, but they can't check me out at the speed I desire,e even when it's not that crowded. Once they only had one employee handling the mail and printing station but five people needing help. I was not the last once but I waited well over an hour to be helped, and all I needed was to laminate three short pages, which took all of five minutes. I wanted to leave but I was told "someone will be with you shortly." They do have other employees doing nothing. It seemed like they weren't trained to help us, but they really should be. This is just one instance of multiple slow customer service moments. I always tell myself I won't be back, but I just love Staples too much. read more

The woman with short natural hair in the printing station is always super helpful and sweet. She has saved my life a few time by helping me with the fax machine or printing out stickers for work. Love this staples ! read more

Worst experience ever. I needed a banner. I called the store to see if I could get it quickly. They said they don't do anything over 2 feet long in the store, so I'd have to get it done online. So, I ordered it online. When it arrived, it had no stitching or grommets. I called the store and asked if they could add it there. I didn't know that you had to ask for that separately. I have ordered banners before and they weren't a special order type of thing. The guy LAUGHED and said they are an additional charge, but I couldn't wait for it because it takes 2 people to do that. So, I got there first thing in the morning so I could have the banner ready for later that day. There was no one in that department. No one. It took ten minutes for the rest of the staff to decide to do something about that. When the staff person finally arrived, she popped the grommets on right in front of me by herself. It took all of 2 minutes. The worst part of it was that the store was having a sale on banners. It said that the price was 40% off and they could do them the same day- including giant sized banners. So, everything Staples told me from start to finish was completely wrong AND it cost me a 40% discount. What a joke. Never again. I didn't particularly like the store to begin with, but it's office supplies. I can deal with a cramped, crowded store that doesn't have a great selection if I just need paper. Don't go here in you're in a hurry and want to be helped! I was in a hurry on a Saturday morning. I found the paper I needed and as I walked by a sales associate in the back of the store (who was sitting on the counter, staring out the window), I decided to ask her where the manila envelopes were to save some time. She responded, "Well did you try the ENVELOPE aisle?" in an extremely snarky voice and glared at me. I was completely taken aback and responded that I was in a hurry and was hoping she could just point me in the right direction. She said, "Aisle 15, I think." I Love This location, it may be small, but it works for me. I live close by so this location is always key to get copy jobs done in the time frame that it states. I've tried the Willow Lawn once for a copy job & was rudely put off & told it would take longer if I waited. I took my copies & heading to this location & was in and out in no time. My daughter paid $180 to get a project printed for VCU art. She paid $40 EXTRA to have it done in time. They botched the first book, didn't call her and didn't do the job! What business operates like that? They didn't even contact her to tell her there was a problem. She missed her due date, was late to class and it's her BIRTHDAY! Seriously! I come here regularly because I refuse to own a printer and their hours are better than the post office's. It's pretty easy to plug in your USB and get a high quality grayscale or color print in minutes without having to talk to a salesperson. You can also print email attachments. As for mailing packages they do USPS, UPS, or Fedex. They also have shipping supplies and don't charge you for using packing tape like the post office does. The one star deduction is sometimes there aren't enough staff and you have to wait forever for a customer in front of me who doesn't know what they're doing. Like, they can wait for 20 seconds while I drop off a prepaid label- you know? May I also mention that there is free wifi and Pokemon inside? Caught a beedrill on my last visit ;P read more

Go somewhere else for printing... I had stuff printed here for my wedding, about 5 jobs and only 1 was done correctly on the first try. It started to become a joke that I'd come to pick up my stuff and it'd be done incorrectly. There were two very helpful employees, so I would always hope they were working, but when they weren't it was a mess. So not worth the stress, don't even bother! read more

Meh, was ok. I had to wait in line forever with a 1 year old running around. Do not take your computer here for fixes. They have no idea what they're doing here - completely messed up my moms computer. I told her to go to a different place that actually specializes in fixing computers and they were able to accomplish what staples said was impossible. read more

Customer disservice to extreme. I phoned this store because I wanted information, such as pricing, turnaround, opportunity to bring in a thumbdrive, etc. The print-center fool I was referred to refused to stop interrupting my questions and needed to keep babbling hurriedly about how great online ordering was. Believe me, THE ONLY - ONLY - REASON I STILL BUY BUSINESS CARDS FROM STAPLES AT ALL IS THE TURNAROUND TIME FOR TWO-SIDED CARDS. Oh, and I had another Staples store print the cards for this order. We went last night to get the invitations printed for my son's birthday. The man at the desk was HORRIBLE! He acted like he was to busy to help us. He us to email him the file as an attachment 3 times because he couldn't figure out how to use the computer. After a while he just said " I don't have a smart phone so i don't know what to tell you". After we finally got him the file, we asked him questions about how long it took and how it would look, and his only reply was "I don't even work in this section, so I don't know what to tell you". Can someone PLEASE explain why you have someone who doesn't even know how to use a computer working in the printing section! Also we were looking for envelopes and we saw a small selection of them. I asked one of the other people working there was there anymore in the store and he told me that was the only ones. Then I walk down another isle and there are way more... I don't understand what these people do all day. The store is never busy but you just have a bunch of people who don't know anything. We aren't going to this location again. read more
